My daughter started attending back in March. The ratio for instructor to 2-3 year olds is 1:4. The place is well-maintained, clean, and, most importantly to me, well-organized. It is clear that they use cycle techniques here (where kids rotate between different activities than having to wait in a line at one). It became quickly apparent my daughter LOVES her time here, as evidenced by 2x a week classes AND still asking every day if it's time for gymnastics. At GymFest, an end-of-the-school-year recital, kids can sign up, get photos taken, obtain a trophy, and a t-shirt with all their names on the back. My daughter had so much fun showing off for her father and I. After this, she moved up to the next class. I couldn't be more pleased with Coach Mia. I love how she knows when to be stern for the kids' safety, when time be more nurturing, and when to let them try for themselves too. It takes an incredibly knowledgeable coach with a lot of experience with children to be able to tell what each kid responds to. I have specifically signed up my daughter to lessons with this Coach and also will be starting private lessons too! If you're on the fence about where to go, come to their open gym and explore the facility for yourself. I came and spoke to staff and coaches prior to my daughter signing up. Admittedly, I was nervous about Basel's, due to prior reviews. We were new to the area and none of the other gyms nearby, were a fit. Our experiences at Basel's were all positive. My children loved all of their classes. Customer service was always super friendly and efficient. They offered a variety of classes and different levels. We would have continued to advance and stay, long term, but we were transferred out of state. I would def give Basel's a try. I heard that they are under new management. They seem to have much improved. read more

My daughter has been going to Basels for 8 years and part of their winning competitive Xcel team with Coach Karyn and Coach Carissa. My son also started in their preschool class and now in their Tnt class. We have also had numerous birthday parties there which our kids always love. read more

Let's start by saying My nieces and kids used this facility for years with no issues up until pandemic hit. I re signed my kids up recently. On first lesson red flags were popping everywhere!! I heard a coach (with no mask on) talking about having Covid with a parent, The coach of my kids also came up to me with no mask on that was a another red flag. Later that week they sent an email that the the coaches/staff had Covid, They closed for one week. when I asked will the coaches wear masks from now on, they said No!!! My son has asthma and now sick with Covid as well as my daughter, they have been exposed to that place one single time and came home with Covid exposed my whole family two elderly parents , a baby and the classes and teachers they meet. I'm pissed !!! This is outrageous and selfish!!! They make money off our kids and don't even care to wear masks to protect them. They had Covid spearing between coaches and yet continued to operate!!!!!! They should tell new parents upfront of this selfish shameful way of operating a business with kids!!!! Be careful coaches and staff don't wear masks and they did not pull the alarm off until it was too late!!! Infected coaches and staff came to work with no masks on!!!! My life changed upside down, hoping my children recover as well as who ever we infected along the way. we had to cancel a whole family trip because of that. Basel fell so short on supporting its clients, community and exposed and continues to expose all of those kids to more of this horrific pandemic, simple measures could have prevented this. I am heartbroken because my kids loved that place. read more

My 2 year old Daughter was thrown out of Madelynn's class last Monday. I am now writing the review because it has really broken my heart that someone who I should trust with my child.. put my child out the class on her knees as her body dropped and the door was closed behind her. 2 years old... gymnastics is a place of fun and a chance to let off steam. Madelynn was her makeup instructor.. she clearly did not feel the need to assist my child who normally goes on Thursday with Skylar. We had been members for almost 2 months.. never have I witnessed a 2 year old bring thrown out of a gymnastics class during the two months there. The instructors are getting paid to teach and assist with the children.. regardless of my child briefly runs off ONE TIME she does not to deserve to be thrown out! If you do not have the patience to deal with children; new children! You SHOULD NOT be ALLOWED TO TEACH ANYONE!! She refused to apologized and explain what was going on. She only said SHE WAS NOT CHASING my child. Very coldheartedly. According to the owners Madelynn missed 4 steps before taken my daughter out of class. Also according to owners.. she was supposed to give her to ME not on the ground. They would not enforce an apology from Madelynn to my family.. instead they insisted on refunding me money for tuition. The teachers come before the kids her because they are so busy they cannot lost an instructor.. SAD!!!!!! Do not go here!!!! read more

My daughter loves her gymnastic class! She has been going for over a year now and Ms. Mia is her favorite teacher thus far. She makes it fun while still challenging them to strengthen their technique and conquer their fears on the bar & beam. I love seeing my daughter excited about coming to class. I couldn't be more pleased with our experience there. The space is clean and the office manager does a great job at keeping me in the loop and answering any question I have related to the class. If your looking for a gym, I would for sure recommend giving this place a try! read more

Basel's has a great facility and provides a non-intimidating environment. The staff is very nice and accommodating.

Nice staff. Basel's parents night out was an opportunity to practice tricking/tumbling. There were a lot of kids running around but there were enough room to work on anything we wanted. A lot of open gym places are uptight, but this place was literally sign name-pay- have fun. read more

My 2 girls, niece and nephew are currently attending Basel's for about 6 months now and they love it! Coach Karen and Laurel are fantastic coaches! Initially, I didn't know what the structure was on how they advance to the next level and wished they provided a skill sheet so that we can keep up or encourage our girls...I started asking the coach and they were very helpful! Anna in the office is another great asset to this gym. She always responds immediately! We went from once a week to twice a week and looking forward to gymfest and summer camp! The toddler section is really cool and clean compared to other gyms. They are also making great changes to the gym. Open gym is another great gym time and very affordable to members and non members! We will be in this gym for a long time! read more

My daughter went here for 2 years. She started off doing recreational gymnastics and was quickly moved to the competitive side by the coaches w/n 2 months. When my daughter was in pre-team, it started off good, but turned into a nightmare real fast. My daughters group was combined with a lower level group for the entire summer. Since they don't move on from a skill until the entire group gets it, my daughter learned nothing. They went back to the basics to catch the team below my daughters up with them. When my husband and I confronted the coach to ask why they were being combined, we were told that it was only for the summer. She even said that she understood our concern because the "old" girls weren't learning anything and that she didn't like it either. We let it go and bid our time for this to pass. When summer ended, instead of splitting the girls back up they combined them all into 1 team. Plus, they added more new girls. We went from 7 girls to one coach, to 13 girls. The age range was 5-11. With adding more new girls, they had to yet again, go back to the basics and catch them up. After 2 weeks of them all being trained together, they were finally split up into 2 separate groups, but supposedly still on the same team. Instead of splitting them up by skill level, they were split up by age! Who does that in gymnastics??? Since my daughter is 6, she was grouped with the 5 year olds and 1 other 6 year old. My daughter may be 6, but she could do everything the older girls could do and more. The coach even told my husband and I that she needed to start teaching our daughter harder things on the beam because she had mastered every skill. When she was grouped with the younger group she was forced to sit A LOT because once you master a skill, you sit while the other girls catch up. We let it go for 1 practices, but then asked to talk to the coach again. My daughter was miserable, she cried after every practice thinking she was being punished by the coaches, and was bored out of her mind. When we talked to the coach, she acted annoyed that we had a problem with this set-up. We asked why the groups weren't based on skill level and she said all of the girls are on the same level because they are all on the same team. And grouping them by age was easier. I don't want to talk bad about the girls, but it was very clear that the girls were not on the same level. We ended up talking to the head competitive team coach, coach Ashley, and she said the decision was hers and she wouldn't change it. The only time she had ever watched our team was during warm-ups so for one, why is she making the decision. She refused to split the girls up by skill level even though she knows that was the right way to do it. My husband told her how different the 2 groups were and how our daughter was sitting a lot. He also told her how our daughter felt and she basically called her stupid. We knew at that moment that we didn't want our daughter there anymore, but yet our daughter was still wanting us to work this out. She had friends there. This was an easy fix for coach Ashley to do, just put our daughter with her original team that she was put with in January. Most importantly, the girls that she was on the same level with. Even they were asking the coach why she wasn't with them because she is to good to be in the other group. Even they noticed a difference in the 2 groups. Coach Ashley's logic just made no sense. How we ended the conversation was that she would watch the girls at the next practice and would make both groups routines herself to give the coaches. We gave it one last shot after that conversation (for our daughter). Both groups still weren't doing the same thing, my daughters group stayed on the little beam the entire time (which she hasn't don't in forever) while the other group went on the big beam. My daughters group was forced to stay on the little bars, while the other group went straight for the big bars. My daughter sat for 10 minutes at a time while waiting for girls to master the skill and coach Ashley never watched to see what was going on. We let her finish practice for that day, but that was her last day. We went to the office and pulled her out. Anna (works in the office) asked us why we were pulling her out and we told her. She was so upset that we had been going through that. She even said that the coaches know better than to base anything on age and didn't understand why she would group them that way. The owner walked in as we were talking to Anna. Anna started telling him what was going on and then talked to my husband. He was polite and listened and said he would talk to Ashley and let us know what happens. We still haven't heard anything, but no matter what, it wouldn't have changed our minds anyways. If your child wants to do recreational gymnastics, this place is good. If your daughter wants to do competitive or is moved to competitive after starting off recreational, I highly recommend going elsewhere read more
