For a business that interviews and hires people for a living, they don't have their shit together. They offered me a position on the spot without checking references, which was a red flag. They also asked me if I was willing to do highly unorthodox things like do collections on clients and borderline unethical things like do legal work for clients. Turns out they do work for most clients declaring bankruptcy and expect their accountants to be collection agents. Feel free to look up any of her former employees on linked in and they will verify this. Carolyn claims on her website to be both a CPA and an EA. hrallianceinc.com/about/ Do yourself a favor and do your due diligence. One quick check will let you know whether or not her credentials are valid. If you are considering using HR Alliance, I highly recommend taking the two seconds to look Carolyn Olson up on https://cpaverify.org. I hope this might prompt you to think twice about using HR Alliance, or at least prompt you to ask her a question or two ;)

As 34 year old I have used express for a decade or so off an on. They have found me permanent…read moreemployment that later 3 years and also temporary work. I used to tell a lot of people about them as a temp agency. I have over a decade of warehouse experience and forklift experience under my name and been licensed and certified since I was 18. Express is so disorganized now. I called them up because I saw a cold warehouse forklift position and I applied for it. I talked to a lady on the phone who told me with my experience it would be fairly easy for me to get a position after apply id just have to come in and redo my registration with them and my normal work paperwork. I came in 3/31/26 in person to file my paperwork after the phone call on Monday. The recruiter I talked to in person had absolutely no idea about me or my application but claims I was the one she talked to on the phone. When I asked about the discussed forklift position she said that it was under another recruiter and that if I wanted to try for that it'll take some time but she can take my resume and give it to them and get back to me. I was so flabbergasted by this encounter that I just accepted what she said so I could leave. I instantly called back when I left and talked to another different recruiter and when I explained exactly what I went though just now and was completely confused she apologized and said she controlled that job listening and if I'm still interested she would love to have me apply and then sent me a confirmation text message for Friday at 9:15 am. I accepted it and replied confirming to them that. I showed up at the job site at 8:50am because I miss understood thinking it was for 9. So I waited and when 9:13 came around expressed called me while I was in the office at the job site to inform me that they messed up and doubled booked this time slot and that I would have to come back another day. This felt really off and frustrating. But ya know. Stuff happens. I thanked the job site for their time And apologized. And head straight for express to figure out why I'm being yanked around and used. When I brought up what happened to the front desk gal she was confused and went and talked to the first recruiter I talked to who didn't know anything whatsoever. She came out and instantly gave me attitude about "I told you I'd call you if something comes in nothing has come in yet " I informed her that I was just at a job interview for a forklift position but it was timeslotted for me and that I was their wasting my time and the companies time under expresses name. The recruiter was baffled. She had no idea what I was talking about. She didn't know I had a job interview. I asked to talk to someone else that knew what they were doing and she instantly got upset with me and informed me that I was talking to her on the phone. I reiterate that I would like to talk to whomever is control of the forklift listing because obviously this recruiter knows nothing and I'm tired of being Yanked around by 2-3 different recruiters. She went back and flipped out and asked the lady what was going on who eventually came out. She asked why I hung up on her and I explained I was at the job site and I wasn't gonna have an entire conversation there when I wasn't even supposed to be there it was rude. She apologized. But did nothing else other than try to say that we can rearrange a time. I feel pretty pulled back and forth between these people and this entire interaction when it should of been completely simpler. No one knows what someone else is doing recruiter wise and apparently multiple recruiters can send someone somewhere without others knowing. be very wary going here. After years if Using them and disappointing out comes I will never step foot inside a facility of express again. 0/5 stars. someday I hope someone pulls their head out their bum

My contract position wasn't going to last forever and my resume needed some serious love. I found JobJenny dot com and she had me at "hello" with her bright yellow website that touted her as a "Job Search BFF and Tough Love Expert on finding your passion." She immediately filled both of those roles for me. After an hour phone consult and a couple business days, there it was... my new and 100x improved resume, fresh off the press. It showcased the same experience and talent my old resume did, but with the style, professionalism and extra oomph it desperately needed. I put my job search in full-swing three weeks ago, and today I received an offer for a position that has "me" written all over it, (only a week and a half out of work). In the process, the resume and the employer-friendly key words it came with brought in a total of 6 or 7 job/phone interviews and countless calls from recruiters. I felt so popular, and the inner monologue of "crap, how am I gonna get a job in this market?" was silenced by my Blackberry ringing off the hook. Jenny's prices for Resumes and Cover Letters are a steal, even for the budget-weary job seeker. Five stars doesn't seem like enough to express my gratitude, so between us Yelpers, consider this a 10 Star review.
