I found Savannah on Yelp when I realized I needed help climbing out of the deep career rut I was in. In less than three months, I went from years (too many years!) of waffling to a clear, concise career path that included quitting my current job! Now, I'm not a person to make rash decisions (remember those years of waffling?), but I feel very confident about where I'm heading. Savannah's coaching helped me examine my life & recognize the clues in my past & present that would help me plan the future of my dreams. She supplied great resources, assigned exercises that led to some "A-ha moments", and asked thoughtful, probing questions. She provided the accountability I need. As we worked one-on-one, she was kind, caring, and insightful. I felt known. So, now I have a detailed short-term plan. I'll be seeing Savannah in a few months to keep my momentum. Maybe once the dust settles, we'll tackle my love life! Thank you, Savannah! read more

What's so unique about working with Savannah, is that she advises on multiple levels: career expertise, logistics, the emotional stuff and the psyche, and the energetics of what's feeling stuck or jammed up. She brings so much realness, positive encouragement, and smarts to the job. I really appreciate the guidance and advice she offers for my career goals. I highly recommend working with her! read more

I recently found myself in unfamiliar territory. It was 6:30 in the morning, and I could not get out of bed. I realize that this is a daily struggle for many people. And I sympathize. But it is not my struggle. Mornings for me, even pitch black mornings where the sun is not expected to make an appearance for hours are my full-blown Cinderella experience with birds chirping at the window and friendly mice selecting my outfit and braiding my hair and telling me I look fabulous now go get this day, girlfriend! I don't linger in bed. Ever. Except recently, I had been doing it more and more often. I knew somewhere in the back of my mind that I was growing increasingly dissatisfied at work. But I was not willing to face that reality or do anything about it. After all, I had been doing similar work for 20 years. And I am good at it. Incessant organization, task mastery, and levitating innumerable balls in the air simultaneously? Piece. Of. Cake. Though with each passing day it was becoming less easy and less interesting and less what I wanted to do with the rest of my life. Enter Nurture Life Coaching. I first met with Savannah of Nurture Life Coaching in April. I did not know what to expect. Would this be a regularly scheduled whine-fest where I complained that I did not know what I wanted to do, boo hoo? Would I be signing up for endless weekly sessions where little progress was made? Would I have to learn some entirely new woo-woo vocabulary about inner light and chosen paths? Not. Even. A. Little. After a free initial consultation where we each evaluated whether or not we would work well together, we dove right into our work, which included homework and between-appointment check-ins and immediate progress. Savannah has a great way of helping you focus your thoughts, summon your drive, and find answers to your own questions. She once told me that she helps people see the answer they already know. She challenged some of my core beliefs about what I do and helped me see that making a change was an exciting opportunity, not an indication of failure after 20 years of doing the same thing. And once I was able to see my situation differently, everything else seemed to fall into place. This is not a what's-your-spirit-animal experience. It is hard work. It is evaluative and introspective and difficult. Savannah is an intelligent, focused, and patient professional. She pushes you towards progress each time you meet. She may just change your life. read more

I first saw Savannah 3 years ago for about 5 months. I was a new mom and unhappy with my career decisions. Seeing her really helped to calm and ground me, and also to trust my own intuition about my next steps. I came back to see her recently and have found the same consistently transformative feedback and guidance. Seeing Savannah, I believe in the power of coaching to help me live the way I want to live my life. Every time, I feel more centered and confident about where I am going. read more

I am a very self-aware person, so I expected that Savannah would take me through standard life coaching exercises that I had done before, but might be valuable to do with help. No. She knew right away to go deeper and guided me so quickly, lovingly and intelligently right to the information that was under my nose. I am a gifted person who has spent my life teaching and healing others, but I have never even considered giving my own artistic gifts permission to grow. Today she was totally present with me when I realized the scary, amazing thought of actualizing my purpose. I no longer feel alone in this terrifying plight, and someone believes in me, not in a fake-cheerleader way, but in totally present and honest reality. I am amazed by her work and would recommend it wholly to anyone ready to live their truth. read more

I just started working with Savannah to gain clarity on some decisions as I work on the transition into motherhood and small business turnover. After two coaching sessions, I find Savannah to be both warm and friendly AND candid and intelligent. She has a wonderful combination of professionalism and hospitality, and the way she asks questions is very effective. Savannah is also an active writer whose work appears in local publications, and she offers massage and body work from her studio as well. Though it is an investment to choose to work with a professional, I think you will find that Savannah is an investment worth every dollar. read more

I started with Savannah when I was unhappy with my life...career and marriage. She most definitely became a person I could trust to give me unbiased feedback on things.... she pushed me to follow my heart and guided me through a journey of believing in myself again. She doesn't tell you what to do... she helps you find clarity in your emotions and supports you with well delivered advice to maneuver through obstacles in your path. She is comforting when you feel low or lost....she is spiritual when you lose hope.... and most importantly she is your biggest cheerleader when you are in a crunch! I prepared for my divorce with her... she helped me keep my head right! Now I'm finding myself again....working on navigating me through my further education. Oh and the best part.... after you talk...she LITERALLY works the kinks out!! She's an earth angel! read more

Savannah is a gift. I came to life coaching expecting little pushes in a vaguely positive direction, but what I experienced was -- and I say this with full awareness of how it sounds -- life changing. I was floating along morosely in a job I hated, feeling like maybe I had more to offer the world and wondering if there were something else I could or should be doing with my time -- and now those questions have very definite, very easy answers. I have no idea how she pulled my deepest fears, hopes, dreams, worries, and passions out of me so efficiently and so painlessly. I'm a very private person and that kind of sharing (ie in a therapy-type setting) has never worked for me before, but talking to Savannah is like talking to your own shadow: it feels insanely personal, comfortable, and intimate. After a handful of sessions, I could feel my life changing for the better. I cannot recommend her highly enough. She is amazingly genuine in her deep care for her clients, and the attention she gives is loving, personalized, sweet, and badass when it needs to be. She gave me the most loving (metaphorical) kick in the butt I've ever received, and that kick is still ricocheting into my daily life. I now know more about myself, my life, my goals, and my path. I'm happier and healthier. This stuff is basically magic. read more

I came to Savannah at a time when I was quite confused about a career I had spent 10 years developing. I somehow felt deeply passionate about my job and also deeply dissatisfied at the end of most days. Savanna helped me realize I was nostalgic for a path that once was, but which had changed enough to become a new route - and not one I had intended. I was passionate about the mission of my work but not the day-to-day, and needed to reconnect the two, perhaps in a totally different way. Savanna helps her clients move past blocks and gain a deeper understanding of themselves and their world. She uses gentle but probing questions, engaging and thought-provoking assignments, and provides much-needed accountability. Though I'm still in the midst of my life change, I know I've moved much farther along than I would have on my own and can continue to reach out to Savannah as a deeply knowledgeable and understanding partner in the journey. read more

I cannot recommend Savannah highly enough. Working with her helped me to completely re-vamp my life, top to bottom! Savannah has helped me learn to trust myself in a new way. When I started working with her I was very sad and unfulfilled with so many areas of my life. All of that quickly changed, as she helped me identify easy places to start turning things around and claiming myself and my joy in the process. read more

Every time I meet with Savannah she helps me cut through the fog of indecision and come to clarity. She reminds me to celebrate success and learn from experience. She's wise and witty and compassionate and quick and insightful and organized. What more could you want? I am cheered up and motivated simply by making my next appointment! I have worked with Savannah over the years for one-on-one coaching and in her classes. She is such a gifted coach, facilitator and guide. The issues that I have come to her with have been very deep, old, personal ones--the issues that I wasn't able to shift on my own or in therapy--and Savannah has helped me gain clarity, new perspectives, and useful tools in very short amounts of time! It's so magical to me that the answers are within me and she acts as a wise, compassionate, and trusting guide to help me uncover them. I highly recommend Savannah and Nurture Life Coaching. read more

About the time my son was 12 months old, I realized that I wasn't the happy mom I wanted to be. I also wasn't the happy wife I wanted to be. And I couldn't put my finger on why that was the case, and I had no clue as to how to go about making the change I knew I so desperately needed. My husband and I discussed our options, and both determined that couples counseling wasn't what we needed. For all intents and purposes, our relationship was fine, we just were having some difficulty with making decisions together and working together to make the best life we could have. We found Savannah, along with a few other options, and after having initial consultations with all of them, we knew that Savannah was the right fit for us. She understood that we wanted to work together to make our combined life a happy one, but she has also been instrumental in drawing out things that satisfy us as individuals. It's really been amazing how she has been able to work in service of our family unit while maintaining our individual needs and identities. I don't know how she does what she does, but I can tell you that Savannah is warm, caring, inquisitive and able to thoughtfully ask questions and make suggestions. She has told us that ideally, there will come a point when we won't need/want to see her on a regular basis, because we will have made the changes we were seeking to make and implementing them. I so enjoy talking to her I am not looking forward to that time, but I very much appreciate that she wants to see her clients make progress and to grow and move on. If you are looking for a resource to help get support as a couple, or to get guidance on your own life path and to find the courage to make a change, I recommend Savannah without hesitation. And as an added bonus, her office is really easy to get to. read more

I was having a hard time with my two children, and most of all finding my place as a mother and as a woman without always attaching the mother to it. I realized what I was lacking was self love and Savannah helped me on the path to explore the reasons I had such a hard time loving myself. Savannah was able to give me tools and help me look deeper into my issues. She was so comforting and real with me. She gave me so much and helped with my confidence in a way that no doctor has ever been able to. I will always have tools to look back on as she is great about taking notes and giving "homework" for future sessions. Although I will not be able to continue seeing Savannah, she urged me to check in with e mails if I ever have any questions. am so grateful to have been able to work with her over an 8 week process. I highly recommend Savannah and Nurture Life Coaching read more

Savannah is such a light! Her guidance was integral to me during a time in my life when I was feeling stuck and unable to move forward. I tend to intellectualize things to a fault, and was very skeptical of the usefulness of coaching, as I believed I really already understood my issues. Through her use of mindfulness techniques and gentle questioning and suggestions, I was able to discover on my own the places where I had misconceptions that were holding me back from my fullest potential. My personal sense of self is more whole, and I've been able to make better, clearer business decisions as a direct result of my work with her. Thank you, Savannah! read more

I have known Savannah for over 5 years in a professional networking capacity. Over the course of that time I've had situations in my business and personal life where I needed an unbiased guide to help me find the right path forward. So I hired Savannah with Nurture Life Coaching to for some phone sessions. Her understanding and focused demeanor helped me find my own solutions to the issues at hand. I'm forever grateful that services such as hers are available. Highly recommend. An insider tip is that she really does specialize in working with women. Pretty cool. read more

Savannah is an incredible massage therapist and coach who I have had the joy and honor of working with over the past decade. She has helped me navigate many difficult transitions in my life, both personally and professionally, and has modeled grace and compassion even while seeking clarity and harmony in very challenging situations. I recommend her work highly to my clients and my friends. read more

I went to see Savannah when I was at several crossroads in my personal and professional life. I really needed some help pulling it all apart, finding clarity and then making a plan but I was struggling to do it on my own. Also, I did not want to work with a business coach or a therapist, instead I wanted someone who could help me get to my core beliefs and goals that would help me create the life that I want for myself and my family. Once I could identify what I really truly wanted then reaching my goals would be no problem. Savannah helped me sift through my conflicting ideas and lay out a path. She is authentic with the right blend of support, frank honesty and gentle nudging to push through barriers. I really looked forward to our meetings and always left with more clarity than when I sat down. I still look back over our notes when I start to feel muddled again. I now recommend her to friends and my clients who need some life coaching to get to their own break throughs. read more

I have known Savannah for three years. We met in an advanced training at M.E.T.A. (Mindful Experiential Therapy Approaches) for helping professionals. It was truly an honor to come to know Savannah in this capacity. We worked and trained closely together during the two years we studied Hakomi, Mindfulness and other advanced techniques. From the first day we met, I have known Savannah to be bright, insightful, intuitive, earnest, hard-working and dedicated. However, those attributes all paled in comparison and took second place behind her warm radiance and what I've found to be an endless capacity to hold others in an accepting, non-judgmental, open and loving presence. I am a marriage and family therapist in Portland and refer clients to her on a regular basis when they seek out life coaching or come to a place in our work together where life coaching is more appropriate than therapy. I never hesitate in sending people her way regardless of who the client is or what type of support they are seeking, I am confident that Savannah is able to meet them wherever they are and provide them with what they seek. It is an honor to know Savannah in both a personal and professional capacity. read more

Savannah and I have worked together for a few months and the support continues to evolve into what is becoming an amazing partnership. I've had a "dark night of the soul" period when I had very little hope, clarity, or inspiration. Savannah has been a North Star in my life correcting limiting beliefs and confusion with insight and clarity. Her devotion to her clients is nothing short of 100%. Individualized attention and continuous feedback has put me back on track to success! read more

Savannah is incredible. Truly. When I met her I felt as if I had known her for years. In a very short period of time she helped me to prioritize and think about some things in a different light. I feel empowered and made some big life changes that I don't think I could have made without her support. As a working mom I was in search of balance and her methods helped me immensely. She has positive energy but is so real. I was pretty hesitant about the idea of working with a life coach, but she helped me more than I ever imagined a life coach could. I have already highly recommended her to family and friends who are looking for similar support. read more
