Career transition is hard. Very hard. I've recently transitioned out of the teaching field, and many people said to me, "When one door closes..." A quote from Vicki's handbook states, "It's hell in the hallway." Too true. I first came to Vicki on a recommendation from a friend who used her services to get help with revamping her resume. That's what I thought I needed. Just a few tweaks and I'd have a new job in a new arena in weeks. Well, in this economy and with my experience and predilections, that's just not what happened. After my appointment was scheduled, I tried reaching out to her several times to inquire about what I should expect to pay for my session, and I never heard back.
