Love the atmosphere here. We started off with the pretzel appetizer with beer cheese. Huge pretzel! Also, delicious. There were a few items on the menu they were out of. I think it was about 3 or so sides not available, but having never been before we understand after a probably busy Saturday night, they would run out of some popular sides. Not an issue. Maybe keep this in mind if you visit on a Sunday. We tried the chicken sandwich with cheese curds(a good sub for the tots), the Cuban, Tacos ( had the pork and chicken) and a Philly shroom sandwich. All terrific. My son loved his Philly with the grit cake side. He said it was the tastiest mushroom sandwich he has had. This place has a lot of amazing beers offered and people were taking advantage of the beer menu. We didn't try the beer, but we were glad we tried the food here. After lunch, we had a lot of energy for walking downtown. Hoping to taste some of the sides they were out of next time.

We started with the spinach and artichoke dip and shared a veggie pizza. Both were delicious, and the food overall was really good. One of my favorite parts of the visit was the beer flight. They have an impressive selection of beers, and our server did a fantastic job explaining each one and helping us choose. The service was attentive from start to finish, and we always felt taken care of. The only downside was the wait--it was much longer than expected. However, once we were seated, the experience made up for it. Overall, I'd definitely come back for the great food, excellent beer selection, and friendly service. If you're planning to visit during a busy time, just be prepared for a bit of a wait.

First of all it is absolutely BEAUTIFUL. The building is lovely and well maintained. Very welcoming. We were seated up on the 5th floor and had a super server who was knowledgeable and friendly. My sister ordered Chicken and Waffles and I ordered the Biscuits and Gravy and a side of the Parmesan Grits. They gave us these adorable cornbread medallions served warm with this amazing compound butter that was a little sweet and had this citrus zest which complimented the bread perfectly. My sister loved the crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside waffles and I inhaled my biscuits and gravy. We both thought the parmesan grits were the star of the day. Usually parmesan cheese can make things too salty, they balanced it perfectly. I can't say enough nice things about this wonderful spot. YOU MUST GO. The view, the food, the service is top notched.

Waitress just didn't follow up. My water sat unrefilled for a long time. Fried okra didn't taste like okra - but that suited a few of the party. But a few of us expected okra flavor only to be disappointed. Temp on the fried green tomatoes should have been warmer but overall it was very tasty. Our appetizer empty plates sat for a while - we even stacked them so it was clear they should be cleared. Ordered the salmon, which was good, but so did my mom. We ordered different temps and they couldn't tell which was which. Wife ordered a salad and for the price, there was barely anything there. Mac and cheese is still the star. Oysters were decent - I expected larger. The half chicken was a generous portion - nice crispy outside but a bit dry inside. I wouldn't order it (I almost did, but my one of our party did). One of our party ordered a stuffed leeks and it was so salty it was inedible. They did fix it and admitted it should have never left the kitchen. By the time the replacement came out it was after 6:05 (and they had to leave at 6:15). So they didn't get to eat their celebratory meal with the rest of us. Not the memory you want for a meal. Desserts were good. Tort was dense - honestly not sure if that's normal. Crème brûlée was very good. For a $400+ experience and our history with Pump House, I expected more.
