I realize that having pay delayed is a major issue and must have been very frustrating for this temp, however, Amanda Krape was also my rep and she was AMAZING. She kept me working, she was always in my corner, the pay situation was never any problem whatsoever. As a matter of fact, nothing was ever any problem whatsoever. Graham kept me working continually, everyone was always positive and helpful and supportive and that's why I'm looking through them again now that I'm interested in temping again. Don't let one person's rough experience keep you from considering Graham. I've worked through a number of temp agencies over the years - and Graham was the best of the lot, hands down.

Graham, on my very first paycheck, deposited my paycheck into a closed account which I informed them of prior to payday. It took over a week battling over this issue, which they then, finally, made a payment to my correct account. However, this now meant TWO payments out there: 1) The wrong account. 2) The correct account. They explained they transitioned over to a new system and for some reason, the new system didnt recognize my new account. ????????? They asked me to contact my bank, get a letter stating my account had been closed, which was a hassle. I explained I would provide the correct paperwork, but that my going to the bank, meeting with them and traveling to their location was a lot in one day, but will do - they emailed to say my next pay would be withheld. They also disabled my Graham online account thereby making it impossible to view my hours (without the situation being resolved nor telling me). Talk about passive - aggressive #1. They failed to pay me on my FIRST pay day, by sending money to wrong/closed account. #2. After countless communications sent back and forth over a week, they finally wired me my money (does this sound like a stable company?). #3. Then, after realizing money was out there in cyberspace - withheld my paycheck, disabled my graham online account and I couldnt view anything - not even my hours from the previous week to calculate what I would earn nor the ability to see if my hours were verified and approved (it would have been my second paycheck). Yes, this company will be out of business within a year for bad business practice. To add insult to injury - I was charged a wire fee despite the fact it was THEIR mistake. To this day, they have yet to reimburse me!!

It was a temp to hire staffing assignment and looking to start Monday August 12. Interestingly, I just relocated from NYC July 31, 2024. I had to work 500 hours to become permanent. I already interviewed three other staffing recruiters and a Silver Spring MD direct hire HR employee which they were stalling with pending next steps in the interview process so I prioritized my time and took IBT staffing agency to survive. Although the pay rate was $29 hour and it was non-negotiable per NHG so I had no choice. She "lowballed" me since my salary was $65,000 from my previous NYC local employment for nearly seven years. My duties include verifying and auditing employee travel expense reports and applying LM2 schedule for accurate coding using SAP Concur software and processing travel-related vouchers on Microsoft Dynamics XL formerly Solomon Edwards software. I was grateful to learn two new software SAP Concur and Microsoft Dynamics. I loved data entry processing travel related vouchers since it keeps me busier than verifying expense reports which caused me to doze off occasionally. Travel Accounting manager TB I thought I worked well with signed my weekly timesheets mostly. This racist Travel Accounting supervisor JF was and is arrogant and indifferent toward temp employee as a Black male and normally out of the office a lot leaving less work for me to do. JF and I were not on the best terms. The other four other Travel Accounting employees trained me a certain way to verify and audit expense reports. I explained to him during two performance evaluations September 17 and November 1 for the reason for my swift delivery and attempted to avoid careless errors and I acknowledged my breakdown to him and to TB. JF applauded my data entry and admin related work with limited and no errors. I expressed oftentimes sitting at my desk unproductive and idle for a long time whether I am working slow or fast. He and TB admitted about some down times which expense reports aren't coming regularly. Staffing agency RHI sent a black woman temp to handle back logs for both Vietnamese permanent employees out of the office in late October. She and I share the same birthday, and she has extensive accounting background including travel accounting experience from a large NW DC university. JF asked me to train her on processing travel expense vouchers and she acted pompous and kept interrupting me in the process. She asked some of the questions repeatedly and cosplaying from making careless mistakes and she did tasks her. She implied JF and another white female temp employee explained the best way opposed to mine so I just ceased training her and talking to her. Their ice was and always colder than mine. I refused to work in a spiritual and gender warfare toxic environment feeling disrespected by her and the co-workers. I am beginning to feel uneasy working with the temp and how she tried to undermine and sabotage me along with JF especially with my 500 staffing assignments are set to expire November 25. I addressed my concerns to TB. Finally, NHG called to inform me Wednesday November 27 to confirm my last day since the Accounting Manager TB and/or JF informed her I was "frustrated" with the lack of consistent and regular work and my refusal to accept permanent offer since they pay once a month according to TB and other employees. Also, I refused to work in a toxic environment feeling disrespected by HR, cafeteria staff, "raccoons" security, and many union employees.

Straight out of undergrad, they were able to place me on a temporary assignment that lasted for about 2 months, and then when that ended, I was placed in a more long-term admin front office role. When nothing else worked to put my degree to use, I could count on Elite to get placed somewhere, and luckily for me, they seem to have great connections all throughout the DMV so I didn't have to wait too long before I would hear back with a potential opportunity. I knew I was moving soon so I wanted to get everything done as quickly as possible so I could start work asap. I took a long series of test and scored really well. With experience in Property management as well as a paralegal I as assured they had plenty of opportunities for me. I submitted my resume before had and solidified an interview for the day after I arrived to DC. Needless to say, and very long story short, I was called twice a week with different positions and they never landed me a position not even once. I was working 2 days after I arrived with another agency in a law firm, so my resume was not an issue. They called me about positions every week for almost two months and I finally just told them I didn't want them to call me any more. For them to be a staffing agency, they are really not good at what they do at all. You can't be a staffing agency and never land anyone not even a part time position. Don't waste your time on all their test and lengthy interview processes, you're wasting your time!

They misrepresented me to the client, and the client ended up not treating me fairly after having a conversation with the guy who was supposed to me working for me at Randstad! My assignment had ended twice, and I was being given more duties, and I made the fatal mistake of asking RANDSTAD for an increase. The guy who was supposed to me working for me told the client that I asked them for more money, which didn't sit well with them. Now, everyone knows that any pay increase you receive would come from Randstad since you are employed by them, yet the client was falsely lead to believe the opposite. The was absolutely horrible because I had become very friendly with a lot of the employees at the client site, and hoped t get a permanent job there, but all hope of that was lost after that!

Once assigned, both individuals were professional, responsive, and genuinely seemed to understand the urgency of my situation. I am a qualified healthcare professional with an active job offer, but I am currently facing major barriers, including lack of transportation and housing instability. Both my job coach and career advisor agreed that my case required escalation and stated they would involve higher-level leadership, including a supervisor and potentially a county-level contact. However, within a week of those conversations: Both were suddenly unassigned from my case A scheduled meeting with a supervisor never happened I received an email stating I would be reassigned, with no explanation or transition Since then, I've been left without continuity or meaningful support, effectively restarting the process after already waiting a year. What's most concerning is that the breakdown didn't happen at the frontline level--the staff I worked with were helpful and engaged. The issue appears to be a lack of follow-through and accountability when cases require escalation beyond basic services. For individuals with simple job placement needs, this program may work well. But for those facing real barriers to employment, the system does not appear equipped to provide the level of support necessary to achieve stability. I hope leadership takes a closer look at how cases like mine are handled, because the current process can leave people in prolonged limbo despite doing everything required on their end.
