It's been awhile but I'm back in the temp market so I looked up Graham, because I worked for them…read moreyears ago and they were wonderful. After reading the only review I've seen here, I was really disappointed, but then I saw that Amanda Krape was this person's rep. I realize that having pay delayed is a major issue and must have been very frustrating for this temp, however, Amanda Krape was also my rep and she was AMAZING. She kept me working, she was always in my corner, the pay situation was never any problem whatsoever. As a matter of fact, nothing was ever any problem whatsoever. Graham kept me working continually, everyone was always positive and helpful and supportive and that's why I'm looking through them again now that I'm interested in temping again. Don't let one person's rough experience keep you from considering Graham. I've worked through a number of temp agencies over the years - and Graham was the best of the lot, hands down.

My recruiter's name was Amanda Krape (hence the last name because she and the agency surely were…read more"crap-py" and incompetent). Graham, on my very first paycheck, deposited my paycheck into a closed account which I informed them of prior to payday. It took over a week battling over this issue, which they then, finally, made a payment to my correct account. However, this now meant TWO payments out there: 1) The wrong account. 2) The correct account. They explained they transitioned over to a new system and for some reason, the new system didnt recognize my new account. ????????? They asked me to contact my bank, get a letter stating my account had been closed, which was a hassle. I explained I would provide the correct paperwork, but that my going to the bank, meeting with them and traveling to their location was a lot in one day, but will do - they emailed to say my next pay would be withheld. They also disabled my Graham online account thereby making it impossible to view my hours (without the situation being resolved nor telling me). Talk about passive - aggressive #1. They failed to pay me on my FIRST pay day, by sending money to wrong/closed account. #2. After countless communications sent back and forth over a week, they finally wired me my money (does this sound like a stable company?). #3. Then, after realizing money was out there in cyberspace - withheld my paycheck, disabled my graham online account and I couldnt view anything - not even my hours from the previous week to calculate what I would earn nor the ability to see if my hours were verified and approved (it would have been my second paycheck). Yes, this company will be out of business within a year for bad business practice. To add insult to injury - I was charged a wire fee despite the fact it was THEIR mistake. To this day, they have yet to reimburse me!!

A pleasure to work with…read more I've used OfficeTeam on several different occasions and I've never had any issues. The recruiters have always been a pleasure to work with and they've never placed me in positions that weren't a good fit. I've worked with other recruiters who are more money-obsessed than doing the right thing for their clients so I really appreciate the professionalism of the staff at OfficeTeam. In the past, I've worked with Ty, Kristina & RJ; these folks are great! I'd highly recommend this company to anyone who's looking for administrative employment and companies looking to hire the right people. They do an excellent job at screening people to ensure the right fit for everyone involved.

Being the honest person that I am, I forfeited my U.I. benefits to become a productive member of society once again (regret). The new girl who had just started at R.H. Bethesda by the initials S.B., was eager to fill a position (didn't find this out til a year later when she popped up unexpectedly to my work-site). S.B. found me a position working for a small media company billed as an Accounts Receivable Clerk. When I got to the job site, I quickly learned that the job was really for a Receptionist which I abhor because my skills lie mainly in number crunching and filing. Not only did the job site expect me to be their Receptionist, I also had to be their Mail Clerk, Stock Clerk and Data Entry Clerk. The on-site boss felt guilty so she had me take on Inventory Clerk projects. The worse part is I was compensated a whopping $9.00 an hour while they charged the company $23 an hour; THEE LOWEST and INSULTING salary I have ever been offered. Nevermind my much higher salary history of $18/hr as a full cycle Accounts Payable Specialist. I lost my home in lovely Brookland that year and was force to downgrade to a roach palace in a dangerous neighborhood. I also had to take on a quick blue collar position, (something I hadn't done since my teen years) to make ends meet. After they got wind of my 2nd job, they threatened to fire me, saying that 2 jobs wouldn't be easy to handle. HA! I begged for a 1-2 dollar raise, they didn't budge nor care. I was also being harassed by an on-site employee, they didn't care, in fact they made me out to be the trouble maker and I was put on their watch list. Nevermind that I'm introverted personality with zero drama in my life. Society encourages boorish behavior so I was on the losing end. As far as their CLE and Tuition Reimbursement, they gave me the runaround even after faxing and emailing them my college enrollment papers twice. The point is Robert Half recruiters DO NOT LISTEN to a client's needs, they will place you anywhere if it means getting their commission. They will constantly call you while you're working and unexpectedly pop up without warning. Their greed is a huge turnoff. No other agency has done that. They all have greasy used car salesmen personalities. The reason I am writing this review 2 years later is: A.) The company I worked for was bought out in late 2012 and I was laid off. R.H knew about it and they promised that they would find me another position well-before the actual changes had occurred. Of course I searched on my own but turned up empty. Turns out they lied about that too. Never heard from this office again. B.) Because I accepted this position at a low salary, I now have a hard time getting prospective employers to NOT pay me below poverty wages that R.H. paid me. C.) I had since found a good government job but due to the shutdown, I was laid off once again. The unemployment I receive is based off of what I made with RH because of the benefit year. You try surviving in Washington D.C. on $8-9 an hour which translates into $90 a week for DC Unemployment. Thanks R.H.!

My 30 min consultation with Katherine was really helpful! I learned formatting tips and ways to beef up my resume by adding a header, summary, and core competencies and creating sectional dividers. She recommended outcome-based bullet points that highlight the benefits and quantify the results rather than a laundry list of tasks. Katherine was friendly and thorough and even had enough time to quickly proofread my hubby's resume. It was really nice to get an extra set of eyes! While the $299 starter package seems a bit pricey, it's a good deal considering that you are equipped with the A team of an interviewer, drafter, and editor. They will rewrite your resume and can fine tune and belt out those bullet points. While my resume could use a few tweaks, the starter package is a great option if you're looking for a resume overhaul without doing all the guess work. I found the resume consultation surprisingly useful. Would highly recommend it and consider the packages!
