Temperatures were as high as 86 degrees which made conditions particularly difficult especially when trying to sleep. I change the air filter every 3 months and I clean the outside unit annually as well. After about a week of feeling sauna like conditions I called AIRCO. Nhiayee and Page arrived earlier than expected which was awesome because I was given a late afternoon appointment. I greeted them and explained the situation and helped them locate the electrical outlet and the water supply. From there, Nhiayee assessed the problem and explained that the Freon was low indicated by the dry, refrigeration line. After giving the outside unit a cleaning and flushing and filling the unit with Freon which was necessary due to the advanced age of the system. Page and Nhiayee advised that it would take several hours to get the temperature back to an acceptable level and that we should be comfortable going forward. I thanked them both and they were on their way to satisfy more customers. The salesman quoted us a price for it but when it was installed, it was $100 more than the price he quoted. I reached out to him twice and he did not respond. I had nothing in writing, so.... The technicians installed the suppressor, and there was a spark during installation, which seemed a little frightening. They said someone would be by to inspect the installation the next week. After a couple of weeks, I called them and the admitted they dropped the ball and finally scheduled the inspection. Not impressed and will not call them for anything and do not recommend them.
