This kind of feedback forms are always interesting. My understanding is that there are mainly two categories that answer. One is the very satisfied customer and the other is someone where something went wrong, or they simply had a bad day. So i general the answers are very polarized and therefore the takeaways are a little bit hard to catch for all. Either it shall be useful for the followers or the supplier for improvement. Being from abroad (might explain my grammar and spelling) it is always with some doubt that you purchase from abroad., will it work, credit-card fear over the Internet, the delivery time and tracking of parcel. For Woolover it worked beyond my anticipations. I found it on the net and did some basic measurements that looked reasonable enough and then ordered. A very smooth operation in very logical steps plus that the currency could be set to Euro. I was looking for https but did not see any alike. So it would be nice to know about the security for the credit card handling. Likely good but pls state it. What about 360 degree view of the models so that you can get a better feel for the jumpers? It would be also nice to see full model view and not only an upper torso. (might be cultural differences here??) After ordering I went on a businestrip for for 4 days....When coming back home my parcel had already arrived. Great :-) Would I order again =Yes. Would I recommend it to a friend = Yes. And what about the quality of the goods? Well it has been a very warm autumn so to be honest the need for wool-jumpers have been limited. But I'm looking forward to winter... I could not be more enthusiastic about this company! They understand what I needed in a cropped cardigan, so that the waist met my waist,.. lovely colours .. but I chose the flannel grey and with that I had a nice 'suit' since the sweater goes with the soft grey skirt I have. I am a university professor, and I love to combine a business look with a softer feminine look as well. I have charcoal colured skit, hits, just above the knee.. I ordered the Woolover "girlie vest", and made an outfit by buttoning it up over a crisp white long sleeve blouse ,wearing black hose and black patent leather sling backs.. the buttons on the girlie vest are tiny pearls.. I wore pear earrings.. and so the effect was like a sleeveless shift over a shirt, except it was defined and the fabirc of the sweater (cashmere and merino), was so soft and lovely.. I ordered two more of their sweaters right away. The sweaters will come to you in about a week or so.. sizing is good.. but returns are easy if you want.. which I certainl DIDN't want to do.. Don't bother to trek round the shops looking for nice sweaters. Don't bother leafing through those catalogues to find something nice. Been there, done that but those days are over. I've seen the light. I found Woolovers. The quality/price ration seems almost too good to be true when you first come across it, but it isn't. These are affordable enough to make you want to collect toning sets of sweater-cardi-slipover etc. The merino and cashmere is as soft as a kiss, even if, like me, you have a sensitive skin. The colours range from classic to ravishing and I find the staff polite and helpful, expsecially if I get my knicklers in a twist on the Internet. The only problem I have is with paying for postage, but you can't have everything. Really, it is almost enough to restore your faith in Mankined well, Commerce, anyway. read more

I have just received my first order from Woolovers , two V neck cardigans in cashmere and merino wool. The fit is perfect and the quality and finish are good. The colour of the pale blue one is even paler than it looked on the website almost grey and it has buttons which have fluted edges, rather like the petals of a flower which, although very pretty, are quite difficult to push through the buttonholes. The other cardigan in lilac is a stronger colour, closer to the photo on the site, and has rounded buttons which are much easier. Nevertheless I am pleased with both and feel sure they will be useful on cool summer evenings as well as during the winter moinths. read more

So far I have bought 2 British Wool jumpers and am really impressed with the warmth, quality and pricing. It is also great to feel I am supporting a British firm and just hope that they are not knitted abroad! I have used voucher codes from a google search each time to reduce the price and am regularly sent offers from the firm too. They do seem to have an issue with over generous sizing and maybe need to avoid uni sex garments to avoid confusion for customers. A Small in ladies is very different to a Small for a man. Extra Small seems to be about size 10 ladies as a rough guide. I fully intend to purchase more from this firm in the future. read more

After being dis-satisfied with M&S jumpers (both quality and style) I decided to hunt the internet for alternatives and came across Wool-Overs. i liked the website it was informative and the products seemed well priced so I took the plunge and ordered two. Remote sizing is always difficult but I measure one of my favourites and chose the closest from Wool-Overs charts. They arrived very quickly a couple of days, despite one being out of stock at time of order (which Wool-Overs very clearly sated at the time). Fit and quality perfect!! Ordered ten items as supplementary to my gift list. Quality much exceeded my expectation, for each one of them, (very high quality indeed, not just to my standard) and price is awesome (I bought discounted items but the original price is still much better than what I normally see)! One could pay more than twice the price for similar product elsewhere. If I had more luggage allowance will definitely try my best empty their warehouse. I recently bought a woollen tunic style jumper from Woolovers in the most lovely blackberry colour. It is a mix of merino wool and cashmere, which is unbelieveably soft and yet warm. I recommend this company highly. The quality has to be seen to be beiieved and this style is so useful with trousers and skirts alike. Over the last few years I have become a Woolovers customer buying, cotton and silk, lambswool as well as cashmere and marino knitwear. I machine wash all of it on the wool or programmes with excellent results. I find the knitwear stays fresh and new looking and my only criticism is that the cashmere and marino wool pills quite quickly after purchase. So from time to time I use a battery operated tool to shave off the pills and this solves the problem. The range of colours available is excellent and it is very easy to mix and match items with each other. read more

I bought the cable zip jumper for my daughter and it is perfect. I bought it to replace her previous green one which was devastated by moth!! I changed the colour to grey because her teenage son didn't like the green one but he still doesn't like the grey sweater - why did I take any notice of him! Packing and delivery is good. Advice on the site is excellent, esp. ref sizing. My daughters (and my Sister) all love Woolovers. Bought the cream colored classic Aran for my husband for Christmas. (Got an early start). He has not worn it yet obviously, but the sweater looks nice. I haven't bought a wool sweater since 1985, in Venice. So I don't remember what new wool is supposed to look and feel like. This "British Wool" has the look and feel of what Acrylic + other fibers feels like when new. No doubt it'll feel better after its first wash. Very nicely knit, I know he'll be happy with it. I ordered the cotton and silk sweater in grey. in some lights, it appears to have a slightly green/grey appearance but overall I am very happy with it. After measuring, I ordered medium rather than small (I am a 10/12) and it is a good fit : sleeves are slightly long but I think that is just me. I will gets lots of wear out of this, as it is ideal for work or play. I don't buy many sweaters either online or on high street, as I am very picky, preferring quality over quantity : this sweater fits the bill and is good value for money. read more

I recently used Wool Overs for the first time because I had set my heart on a plain jumper in yellow. Absolutely none of my high street stores had anything remotely suitable. When I went online and typed in "yellow jumpers" Wool Overs was one of the first sites to be displayed. The choice was great but more importantly the price was very competitive. I bought a frilly edged cardigan in pink which was a slightly "bluer" pink than shown on the website but I do accept it's quite difficult to get colours spot on over the internet. However, the cardi is fantastic value and very pretty, the fit is not bad but I ordered a size smaller than I usually have to make sure it wasn't baggy. I think Wool Overs is very good value but do feel their sizing could be more 'fitted' on some items. Everything I have bought from Woolover has been fantastic, and every member of my family for 3 generations owns at least one item, if not more from this company. The sizing information they provide is useful and accurate. The quality of the garments is great and they wash and wear well. My most recent experience was typical of the ones I have put in before and arrived very quickly with the clothes I had ordered. Nice polo top. Gorgeous silk and cotton mix, very soft. Only problem is label says should not be washed with standard biological or non-biological detergent. I wish this had been stated in the description as I probably wouldn't have ordered it. I might have returned it if I didn't have to pay to post it back clever trick by Woolover ro encourage you not to return items. As nearly everywhere else offers free returns, this does put me off ordering from Woolover. Bought mine in the sale so price ok. Arrived quickly. read more

First time I have ordered from Wool Overs and was pleasantly surprised. Parcel arrived next day (1st class Royal Mail) and garments feel and fit real good. I was a little unsure about ordering from them as their prices seem a bit too good to be true but I would say they are as good as the jumpers I buy from more expensive brands. Very good service from woolovers. I have ordered quite a few items from them. Their lambswool cardigans are of a good quality and wash well. The cotton & silk cardigans are also of good quality and useful for the warmer weather. Have just purchased their merino wool & cashmere mix cardigans which are beautiful and soft, Have not washed them yet. As you can see I am a cardi fan, particularly of the longer length style which looks great with jeans and leggings. More colours though please woolovers. read more
