The jumper and the shirt are both nice, but I'm not sure that I would warrant the heftier price tags again. If you are looking for something that isn't on the shop floor it's worth enquiring with the shop owner who was happy to bring out a range of items (jumpers in my case) that were not in season and held in the stock room until the Autumn. The owner was a very amicable chap and did offer a better level of service than you would receive from a chain clothing retailer. Certainly a place to go if you are flush, or were wanting to buy something to impress. I didn't really look around the ladies section (funny that) and it is set up in the adjoining shop. I would assume that it stocks the female equivalent garments.

Their stock is very colourful, and is organised into colour coordinating sections. They also stock accessories such as chunky necklaces, and scarves. Be they the stylish wallets, trendy shades or somewhat (in my opinion) tacky headphones to match your clothes, The Mole has got colours and styles to impress... Another store within the Arndale Centre so as usual, there is parking in the car park but it is charged.

But the haphazard rails of second-hand clothing are just like a charity shop. The problem with this place is that the clothes are just too much, considering they are second hand. There was a pleasant enough little cardigan in there, priced at £25, but it was originally from Topshop, where it probably cost £25 in the first place. I'm not going to pay the same amount of money for a worn item that I would pay for a new one, unless it was special or vintage or something. Especially not when there are several well-stocked charity shops in town where the clothes are a quarter of the price and the money is going to a good cause. There wasn't even any effort put in to making the stock look attractive, it was just all loaded onto the rails.

Factory Outlet North Finchley is nothing like that. There are some good deals to be had, even a rack starting at just 5 pounds. I'll admit the clothes in this shop are taste-full and beautiful. There is a particularly nice brown ruffle dress in a silky material for 22 pounds and some lovely knits that wrap around your body. The staff here is friendly enough and not up your arse, in a way that is common in a small store. I like to come in here and have a poke around. I will note this store only sells clothing so no handbags or shoes on offer.
