The second time I went to purchase a cat, I noticed they were all in their own cages, and I asked if they are are always like that and they said they only let one out at a time for about 30 minutes. A few weeks ago, I bought my second bengal from here. They said she had a bad reaction to her vaccine so I couldn't pick her up because they needed to monitor her. That was on March 1st, I ended up picking her up 11 days later and she was still throwing up and having diarrhea so I took her to the vet and she was diagnosed with FIP coronavirus and Giardia. I told them that she is still sick and I have Another cat at home. I took her to the vet because she was extremely sick and they told me that it was my fault and it could possibly be a toxic plant. I had at home even though I have a healthy cat at home And they admitted to me that she was not feeling well after her vaccines. It turns out it was not for reaction to her vaccines. It was Giardia FIP and coronavirus. I have been spending $3000 on a cat. I immediately got hit with a $1200 vet bill and a sick kitten that I had to nerve back to life. She was on medicine three times a day and she was extremely underweight. It was extremely stressful. I also found out that they put the kittens in cargo and shipped them from Ukraine, which I think is extremely unethical. Most animal foundations do not let their animals go into cargo cause it is extremely unsafe for them. I wish they would've just given me her from the beginning and I would've helped her get better soon sooner rather than letting her sit in a cage sick for weeks. They won't help with the vet bill. They're putting the blame on me. Even though I could tell something was up with seeing how all of the cats were separated all of a sudden And they admitted that she was not feeling well. They said she has a housemate at the time and I'm really hoping they took her to the vet. When I went to go meet her the first time they didn't let me pick her up because she was feeling unwell and they've had to wash diarrhea off of her. She's five months old and 4 pounds. The vet that "cleared" her didn't document her weight on her health certificate and did not mark her as underweight even though I called them and she was only 1.9 pounds. I'm not sure how they even were able to get her neutered When the requirement for neutering a kitten is 2 pounds. This place is extremely unethical and they will gaslight you saying that the sick kitten is your problem because they don't wanna pay for it and they need to be shut down immediately.

However I had this bookmarked forever but didn't really know where this place was in town. So yesterday on the way to the cleaners I passed it in the small strip of stores just west of the railroad tracks. The sign was out and I was like there it is! So today I stopped in. Lisa the shop owner was terrific. Of course her assistant is a beautiful cat. Very rare coloration of the fur. You must stop by and visit! I could literally stay here all day very extensive range of items for your fur baby. She also has a wide range of cat food. This visit I left with a soy candle which I have lite as I write my review, with a lovely scent of citrus. Also I got a heavy duty litter box scooper. With four cats and numerous boxes to clean daily the stronger weight plastic, the better. Lastly they have a beautiful range of cards. I got one for my friend so I can send her a note thanking her for Tux my third cat that came home with me from the Port of Miami during Hurricane Matthew. They have a range of kitty carriers that I will be back for. Glad to have come and will be back with my cat lover friends and perhaps my cats to shop.

If you are thinking of going to Petland Pembroke Pines to purchase a dog. I encourage you to read…read morethis post. It will take you a few minutes, but might not regret reading what we are dealing with by purchasing a sick puppy from Petland Pembroke Pines. Petland Pembroke Pines sold us a sick puppy. Within TWO days of purchasing the puppy, we took him to the vet for a wellness check; he was diagnosed with parasite, ear infection, found to be underweight, and excessive coughing. Petland of Pembroke Pines states they provided a heath certificate which indicates the puppy was fit for sale. When purchased on 12/20/2025 health certificate provided was dated 12/11/2025. This means the puppy was under Petland Pembroke Pines for eight days prior to us purchasing. Furthermore, Petland Pembroke Pines says and I quote "Licensed, independent veterinarian visits the store weekly to examine their puppies " if these puppies are health checked weekly as Petland Pembroke Pines replied to my complaint, I'm sure these licensed independent veterinarian provide the store with a health certificate indicating health conditions. I asked Petland Pembroke Pines to provide us with health certificate for the puppy between dates 12/11 - 12/19 for the 8 days under their care. Petland Pembroke Pines have never send such health certificate. I submitted complaint with BBB, FDACS, Humane World for Animals. Petland Pembroke Pines' rest to my complaint on BBB is that i'm being hostile towards them. I give my permission or will sign and document giving the right to Petland Pembroke Pines to make public my emails and show where at any point I'm being hostile! We paid lots of money for the puppy; we never expected the puppy's health to be in such poor condition as the veterinarian found him to be. Obviously, I'm upset (with reason) how much Petland Pembroke Pines charged to sell us a sick puppy. Since veterinarian diagnostic, my wife, 4-year-old daughter and I had been enduring personal and emotional distress due to Petland selling customers like me who believed them to be reputable pet stores to find out they sell puppies from puppy mills as indicated by an investigation from Humane World for Animals. Below reply to my complaint submitted to Humane World of Animal "Unfortunately, Petland is particularly notorious for selling sick puppies from puppy mills. See our numerous Petland investigations here: www.humaneworld.org/petland I advised Petland Pembroke Pines on Humane World of Animals investigation. Their response to me was; all Petland's are independently owned, and investigation does not mention Pembroke Pines location. Just like any other independently owned franchise, all Petland's operate under the Petland brand. When submitting my complaint to Humane World for Animal s, I specifically mentioned the Pembroke Pines location. Their reply was a link to investigation on Petland. As mentioned, my family, especially my 4-year-old daughter have been dealing with this situation since purchasing the puppy on December 20th, 2025. It was our gift to our daughter. Based on provided report www.humaneworld.org/petland ; Petland is the largest retailer of puppy mill dogs, and while the company claims their puppies come only from reputable breeders and are in good health, Humane World for Animals prove otherwise. I urged you to visit this website www.humaneworld.org/petland before going into one of these Petland locations. In my case there is nothing I can due about my situation, we just must deal with it and continue spending a lot of money trying to get our puppy in good health. I hope I can help someone else not go through my personal experience with Petland Pembroke Pines

I've been a loyal customer of Beverly Pet Center for years. It's where I've gotten my guinea pigs,…read moretheir toys, food, everything, however, after today I'm not giving them my business. I've just lost one of my guinea pigs recently and came to the store looking for another. I called for the employee named March if I can hold the baby guinea pig. Unfortunately, the baby was female which wasn't what I was looking for and I put the piggie back in it's enclosure. I walked around the store for a while browsing the products and admiring the selection of fish, however, as I circled back I was reconsidering getting the female pig. I asked March if I may hold her again, but she responded snappily in a raised, rude tone "I can't be there all day are you gonna buy it or not?". It honestly discouraged me from the purchase and I felt ashamed and embarrassed. I decided this wasn't an appropriate response and approached the manager, Johan on March's service. I'd be fine if there was a policy or if it was properly explained that that they can't take animals out much, however, he immediately jumped to March's defense and made excuses such as she must've been busy attending customers (in which there was only two others being attended by another younger female employee. The store was empty and she was walking around aimlessly), that I was walking around (I do not understand what browsing the store has to do with having a feel for a guinea pig), and that I held the guinea pig a couple times in which I only held one piggie each to determine their temperament (there were only two). This interaction wasn't enjoyable and I felt the manager did not care. I feel the store has gone down in quality of the years and it's disheartening to see. I will not be coming back!
