For such a large RV Store there is a lack of accessories. I asked for an acessory I knew about, I had to explain to the guy at the counter what it was and what it did. He said I was the first person to ask about one of them. After telling me he didnt know much about them he went on to try and "educate" me on a subject he never knew anything about. There should be an option for NEGATIVE numbers because that's the service you will get from Woody's. The service department will nickel and dime you to death and for no reason. After your first visit you realize you cannot trust their claim of what has been done to what actually has been done. It really starts from the Service Manager and then ripples down the line. He is not of "service" and neither is his staff. Sadly, you can only purchase GD from Woody's and then you are stuck with the service department. The receptionist has answers for nothing, you can ask her anything and her response is ‍ Had I known what I was walking into as far as the service department is concerned, I may have considered a different brand. I sure hope GD gets enough complaints about Woody's service department that they decide to no longer associate with them. My only recommendation to you if you are reading this comment and you are looking at a Grand Design RV, don't do it until you have found a service department that is willing to service your RV because they only thing Woody's Service Department is willing to do is charge you for work that you will never actually know for sure, has actually been done. read more

I only put 1 start because i couldn't select 0 ....Terrible service, after the fact!... the one who sold it to us wasn't even really a sales person and she was awesome and went to bat for us and did everything possible to get us what we wanted and then some so she was actually awesome and really should work elsewhere so her name doesn't go down with this company. 5 Months ago I bought a $260,000 unit 2023 model right off of the showroom floor that hadn't even been outside yet and was sold all of the warranties and the warranties to make it so i don't have to move the unit that they will send a tech..... well now I'm on day 8 of having no fridge and they say since I'm so far away ( something that was told to them and why this kind of warranty was sold to me in the first place) that i have to myself find someone who deals with keystone warranties near me....... so every mobile mechanic says that they don't deal with keystone because keystone doesn't pay, so i called woody's back and he told me that because i have yet to pay my $150 dollar debt with the towing company that brought it home for me .....( this company has nothing to do with woody's) he told me to F*^% my self and that my warranties are now void because i didn't pay the tow truck and hung up on me ...... don't deal with these people at all because i have called about other issues as well and was told " C'mon man its an RV it doesn't matter how much you spend that its an RV and it going to fall apart" as he laughed read more

Bought a class A Motorhome in October last year, had furnace issues, was apparently fixed. Used furnace this fall and still have issues. Called 2 Woody's stores and get the same song and dance to bring it in. I have done my own homework and calling the manufacturer and suppliers on the touch pad. Trying to get some help on a part from my selling dealer!!! That's not happening as they don't give a shit once it's out the door. Do yourself a favour and never purchase anything from Woody's RV. I probably have 50 hours of work on my unit which was all problems that my Motorhome had. I have a feeling that they knew all this as they bought the unit back from the original owner. When went to pick up our very expensive grand design solitude fifth wheel, they would not provide any assistance in explaining the features or hooking up the unit. All I can say is pay attention to the this and other reviews. Spent $300,000 with them and they wouldn't return a call a week later. And when you do try to call a manager or someone who can help, the receptionist demands to know what the call is about and says she'll pass the message on......no one calls back and it's like they don't even want you to leave a voice message. We went to the Expo RV show and spoke with Kevin who in turn sent us to the dealership to speak with Rick on an RV we were interested in. We spent about an hour and asked some questions for which he didn't have all the answers for. He took my name and email address down reassuring us he would get back to us. He never did! In my experience, Woody's misleads and take advantage. We bought an RV here and were "sold" on the top of the line warranty. Two years after buying we had a recall and called Woody's about it. We set up an appointment and I drove over an hour in the winter to drop it off, only to be called the next day and told that they can't do the repair "because they are not an authorized dealer of my model" and I must pick it up. I argued, and then they agreed to have the part shipped in and repair done. I also asked for a trim ring around my skylight to be replaced under my "top of the line, bumper to bumper warranty" and was told "it doesn't cover trim and finish". They went on to say it only covers things like refrigerators and black tanks and such so I advised them of an intermittent issue with my fridge and also that my black tank sensors always read half full. They said they'd check it out. 3 days later they called and said all recalls and repairs were done and then told me there will be a bill of almost $370.44! At no time, after our discussion about checking the black tank and fridge under warranty, did they say there may be a charge, or advise of any services that were not covered. Now if I want my unit back, they are forcing me to pay this money. I feel taken advantage of and need to warn people to never deal with this unethical company. Fortunately, after an in-depth conversation with the service manager, he agreed to waive the costs. Unfortunately, after a lengthy discussion with my warranty provider, the "refundable" warranty I was told by Woody's reps that I had purchased, actually did not have the right box checked by Woody's, so I also can't get my refund. Gave it a one star as there was no other option. Sister in law looking for a small RV and us looking for a large pusher to possibly join the Snowbird circuit. We dealt with the most obnoxious impolite jackass of any retail sales personnel I have ever encountered in my entire life. He finished his obnoxious dialogue off after requesting to view several large motor homes, that unless we were specific what unit we wanted to buy, we were just wasting his valuable time as he obviously only wanted a quick sale. My boyfriend and I bought a used camper and only took it out a total of 4 times. In the 4 times we used it, we lost 2 tires. We called the dealership to see if we can get some kind of compensation but because we didn't buy extended warranty they wouldn't do anything for us. They absolutely do not back their products and because of that I would not recommend. For barely being used since purchase date, and the dealership "claiming" they did a full inspection before purchase, we should not be having these kinds of issues which has now cost us thousands in repairs. Brought our unit in hoping to have some repairs done. I understand it takes time to get the parts but as a mechanic myself i find it infuriating and highly unacceptable that it should be in the shop for at least four months! Whats worse is that I'm told it will be ready by the end of the week but when i call I'm told it will be ready by the end of next week. They've lied to me for a total of three or four times. I would assume that theyre just taking their time so that they cant extend the amount of days they can work. I dont agree that they do so at my and my families expense!! Good Day everyone. Half of a Star is not an option? DO NOT GO TO WOODY's RV WORLD! Take 5 mins to read this please before buying. Here is my concern and experience with costumer service at Woody's RV World in EDMONTON, St-Albert trail location as well as a few details on the actual product quality they sell to costumers. I bought a fifth wheel in MAY 2011, sold to me for the amount of 63,000$. I was able to stay in this trailer for a period of 1 and 1/2 month only and the trailer has now been sitting at Woody's since END OF JUNE /Beginning of July. NOTHING BUT PROBLEM WITH A BRAND NEW TRAILER. BUYERS BEWARE PLEASE. The trailer has been unusable for a period of over 7 MONTHS. Under repair since than. List of problem started on the first night the trailer was delivered to us. I had 2 gentlemen come and checkout my new trailer as I was so proud of my new purchase. On that particular night a ACCIDENT happen. The middle stair broke loose as my friend stepped foot onto it. YES to our surprise the 2 screws keeping this step in place ripped out from there anchor point and slided forward with my friend flying backward and landing on the floor as his arm hit the small fire extinguisher and causing him a serious injury. We provided Woody's RV manager a picture of my friend's arm. Following that night more things were uncovering convincing me that this trailer was not inspected before delivery as over 15 0r more problems were found. -No keys for outside and Locked compartments would open if pulled on) -Bathroom faucets missing -Blinds tourniquets missing -Leaking pipe under the kitchen sink -3 cubered doors wouldn't latch -Sound system kitchen speaker were not connected -DVD to TV wired wrong -Missing safety tip on wires (could of potentially cause as fire) -Gap between slide out bedroom wall -Air conditioning would operate at the same time I would turn the heat on. (convenient when your cold) -Stair screws rip out the wall panel The list goes on but i believe everyone gets the big picture. I was also told that a 4 % heat lost was experience from a Single painted window versus a duel painted window which I found out from other buyers that this information was incorrect. This trailer was use for a year around living place in Fort McMurray. The salesman was aware of this cold weather i would be facing in the winter and provided me with a lie. I was more than prepared to squirt the trailer and have heaters under the trailer but it wouldn't of made a big difference due to the single painted window. I was now offered by Woody's RV 25,000$ for my trailer 7+months later as a buy back. We are far from 63,000$ .... So all of this tells you what kind of service and experience you may experience at this particular place. I have now lost over 8 months of Insurance and loan payment for a product that I was unable to use. Please feel free to comment . Loved our trailer we purchased from Woodys, just appalled with Woodys RV service! Bought a trailer May 2013, had a small issue with our bedroom slider needing repair. Took it in for Warranty work and the service staff adjusted our slide which was totally fine, and damaged our Lino. Long story short... They currently got our trailer for repair since Apr 2014... And it's not done. The best part is that we are to pick it up this weekend and the staff told us that they've hit it and damaged it in their "safe parking lot". After numerous discussion with the service staff and manager, we were offered 2 free camp chairs for the inconvenience. Really?! Just fix our damn trailer! Terrible Service, Rude Staff, Complete rip off on quote for Service!!!! I have been to Woody's with my Motor Home twice and have been treated terribly both times. The first time I just thought they were having a bad day the second time I realized that is just the way they do business. I recently had my RV in for a quote on some minor repairs and their quote came back at $2,700.00 plus shop time and tax. I felt leery about the way the job was explained to me by the lady in service, so I decided to get another quote at a different service shop and was only quoted at $250.00 for the repair. I will never go back and I will never recommend anyone to even consider using their services. To the person who commented that Woody's has such an amazing accessory department I am guessing they have never been to R.V. Country Services or ArrKann Trailer & RV Centre who's accessory departments put Woody's to shame and surprise, surprise beat Woody's price EVERY time. read more

Went to Woody's on the weekend to buy a trailer. Now unfortunately we are not rich and have $15,000 - $20,000 to spend and we do not want to finance anything. Drove out of our way to go to Woody's in Edmonton on St. Albert Trail - what a waste of time that was. We told the salesman what we were looking for and told him we saw one on the website we would like to see. Apparently it takes them a few weeks to take trailers off of their website and the one we drove down to see of course had sold - it is still on the website today. According to the salesman they had nothing in our price range with what we wanted so he tried to sell us something that was not at all what we wanted. Needless to say we left. Luckily for us Arkann trailers is just up the road so we stopped in there and the salesman was more than willing to help us, even though we didn't want to spend $50,000.00 Do yourselves a favour and don't bother stopping here unless you want to be treated like a second class citizen by very rude sales staff. read more

If we could do it all over again... this would be the LAST place we purchase an RV. We bought a coachman freedom express last summer that had so many things wrong with it our two week vacation would have been ruined if we wernt a family of glass-half-full. The fridge inside didnt work properly and so spoiled $600 worth of meat in the first night. The outdoor fridge wouldnt work either so we had no fridge for the full 2 weeks of our vacation through the BC interior. The door to the master bedroom fell off while properly secured during a roadtrip. The toilet leaked constantly through out the two weeks. Everytime the cap was opened to drain the sewage, it would drain all over your hands. Later we found out that the manufacturer had left the cut out inside the sewage tank and it was blocking the valves. The electric pullouts, hitch, awning and jacks were on again off again. The cupboards and drawers didnt close properly. The TV never worked. It seems NOTHING electronic worked. At the end of the trip we brought it back to woodys. It sat on their lot for a few months. When we got the call to come pick it up, after asking about the fridge issues, they first asked WHAT FRIDGE ISSUES and then proceeded to mention that it had been forgotten but was on order. A few weeks later they called to harass us to pick it up but when asked again, replied that no, the fridge was still not fixed. Finally in April we were told that everything had been repaired and was ready for pick up. By the time we brought it home, the door to master bedroom had fallen off again. The drawers were open again and upon inspection we discovered that the manufacturer had actually built it improperly so the drawers wouldnt even fit properly. Meaning that the drawers could never be fixed properly. The rest of the issues havent been checked yet because we turned it around that day and brought it back to their parking lot. They never did determine the cause for the electrical issues so I am not convinced that they fixed it at all. Here is the kicker... they wont help us. The whole trailer has been proven to be a lemon. Even the staff themselves have it listed on the invoice for the repairs. BUUUUUT.... although they invited us in to look at other trailers and talk about replacing the lemon that we have... they will only trade if we agree to pay the difference between our (quote unquote) used model and the new model. That is a nice added bill of $5000.00 on top of the $32,000.00 we paid for it. Might I also mention that they had a brand new model of another one offered to us to upgrade listed in the kijiji adds in Ft. Macmurray for $27,000.00. We were going to be paying $37,000.00. which would be not just a $5000.00 dollar upgrade from what we originally paid, but again, because it was a USED model would actually require a down deposit of $7900.00 So we can get a new trailer buuuuuuut we have to pay all over again for a new trailer to replace the one that never worked in the first place. We have owned this trailer since August of 2010. It has been in the shop ever since. When we inquired as to whether our original trailer had been fixed then, instead of purchasing a new one, we received blank stares. I will NEVER recommend anyone purchase an RV from this company. I dont know what they are like at the Red Deer or Calgary locations but the Edmonton branch certainly lives up to the salesman reputation that has continued to stereotype them generation after generation. Imagine the sales person not even coming out to see you when you come to pick up your brand new $$$$ unit? Imagine him skittering away when you are bringing it back for the 3rd time for issues in the first three months of usage. Imagine service desk that treat you like you are the problem. Imagine being told to replace brand new appliances at your cost? We have dealt with Arrkann in the +28 years of owning RV's and thought their exceptional sales and services was the norm. NOT SO. Would never recommend Woody's and have been going out of our way to tell everyone about the poor customer service and management. Brought my 1973 boler in to repack bearings and fix the lp system. More then $800 later, completely disappointed in the price and service. When I went to pack it up for a trip, I noticed that the floor was scratched to shit and completely dirty. I had just spent 4 hours cleaning it and there was never a single scratch anywhere beforehand. I also noticed that my hubcaps were missing. Grrr. I've never been so mistreated at the dealership in Red Deer. I bought a unit there with a 7 year elite warranty. When I took it there to get the awning fixed which was obviously broken and should have been covered, they made excuses why its not covered without even looking to see if I have extended warranty. They were telling me no warranty before I got to the desk.. After losing my temper and screaming at the service dept after they told me to fix it myself, the only guy who cares in service ( Pete ) came and fixed the problem in less than five minutes. They spent more time arguing with me about the warranty than the fix actually took. Then when I complained to the manager, the service dept. made up lies to cover their butts and in the end said - oh ya that is covered- Thanks WOODYS! . DONT BUY A WOODYS RV OR WARRANTY! This is the last time I will ever step through their doors again. Every time I have been there I made a mental note as to how arrogant the service people seemed. And I was told when asked why my insurance work after 5 months on the premises, wasn't touched yet, was to take it elsewhere, we don't need the work. Insurance work waits till winter. Well why didn't you guys say that 5 months ago?
