So they just drilled out & re-did two fillings. Didn't spend time to locate my pain. "We'll just re-do the area" After drilling out my composite, I was told I had a large pocket now & if I have pain after this fix I will need a root canal. Well, three months later I had pain. & I didn't go back for a year, I didn't want a root canal. I went back in, he did a myriad of tests to see why my tooth hurt. Cold test, stress test etc. more x-rays & ended up saying "I don't know what to do for you" and it was my sinuses causing me pain. Go to my doctor. So for my next cleaning I just didn't go. I was upset and just confused. Also, surly first ever cleaning my hygienist questioned me when I told her I wasn't on any medication. Saying "are you sure you're not taking anything? Your mouth seems dry" I had already told them, I wrote down all supplements I was taking & Im not on any prescriptions. She was questioning me. Very unprofessional. She also only hand scraped & flossed. No polish, no fluoride. Weeks later I get a $50 bill for not going to my appointment. A month later an $80 bill. It had $30 interest tacked on. I eventually paid the $80. But I asked the receptionist if she could remove the $30 interest and I just pay the $50 no show fee. She replied they never added any interest. Yet they did. I have the bill. So, when locate the bill I will post a photo of it. After explaining all my issues the receptionist said "well you should have had Dr. (other dentist) Work on you" I didn't know who worked on my teeth. it was over a year. She made me feel Like it's MY fault! I cannot believe the incompetence. So, I went to Velis dental, they were very professional and knew exactly the cause of my pain after listening to me. Gave me that thin ink film, I bit down, and they shaved some tooth down and my life has been pain free ever since. A simple tooth shaving because the composite from Wandermere Family Dental wasn't shaped/shaved down enough.

I should add that we were using state insurance for dental and there were not a lot of options out there. My 14-year-old daughter was told daughter she had about 15 cavities (some of the cavities were very large and were over large sections of each tooth) all over her teeth despite never having had any cavities prior and none at her very last check up. My daughter was aging out of their children's office and this was her last appointment with The Kidds's Place (besides the procedural part that they tried to schedule). Well, I had my alarm bells going off internally so I did not make any appointments to fix those "cavities". Instead I decided to purchase her dental insurance and find a new dentist. We just had her first appointment at her new dental office and they told my daughter she had no cavities and had beautiful teeth. I repeat: do not go here! They are scammers and corrupt. I knew something was off and I am so glad I didn't give in and allow my daughter's teeth to be butchered. The fact that they would do this to a child's teeth, therefore affecting future oral health, is beyond reprehensible.

On my arrival they gave me nice first time visitors gift and a dental goodie bag to take home! First I want to give a huge compliment to what I would call a truly amazing staff ! And Dr. Bryan Hill kudos to you. Thank you for calling me the night before my appt personally to say hello and introduce yourself what a nice caring touch. Now won't get into details about my dental history it's complicated. But fears of having work done was met with such kindness and compassion that I have to mention. This office has a "comfort menu" which I'll post that is a caring touch especially for patients like me. I enjoyed my hot neck roll and the jaw comfort pads. My exam was very very comprehensive and the cleaning was exceptionally comfortable and trust me ! Shawana you rock ! i had had all 4 wisdom teeth removed at a dentist out of state. when i returned to spokane i was…read morestill in extreme pain, but it was a saturday. panicking, i found Summit and gave them a call. it was 10pm on a saturday night, i was expecting to have to leave a message... but Dr. Lopez called me back on his personal cell (at 10pm on a saturday!!) and had me come in the next day. i had two infected dry sockets and Dr. Lopez fixed me up, gave me proper medication and thorough instructions that i had not received at the other dentist. i have pretty extreme dental anxiety, but he explained everything to me and even played my favorite music to help calm me. to go out of his way to help me and open the office on his days off, for someone who isn't even a patient of his, is something i've never seen before. im so grateful i found Summit! highly recommend!!

Spokane Dental and was treated like family. Dr. Cody and his assistant Starla were exceptional and very knowledgeable. They explained everything and I never felt the injection or drilling, no jaw pain, and the novacain wore off quickly afterwards that I was able to have lunch without biting my cheek or drooling! I am no longer afraid to go to the Dentist and I am a 66 year old retired construction worker. The front office staff was great also!
