I should add that we were using state insurance for dental and there were not a lot of options out there. My 14-year-old daughter was told daughter she had about 15 cavities (some of the cavities were very large and were over large sections of each tooth) all over her teeth despite never having had any cavities prior and none at her very last check up. My daughter was aging out of their children's office and this was her last appointment with The Kidds's Place (besides the procedural part that they tried to schedule). Well, I had my alarm bells going off internally so I did not make any appointments to fix those "cavities". Instead I decided to purchase her dental insurance and find a new dentist. We just had her first appointment at her new dental office and they told my daughter she had no cavities and had beautiful teeth. I repeat: do not go here! They are scammers and corrupt. I knew something was off and I am so glad I didn't give in and allow my daughter's teeth to be butchered. The fact that they would do this to a child's teeth, therefore affecting future oral health, is beyond reprehensible.

We did not have a good experience with our first, so we went and got a second opinion. Dance was recommended to us and we absolutely loved them. The practice is two brothers (the Dance brothers), but they have at least one other dentist on staff. They do an excellent job of working with the kids. From routine cleanings to more extensive work. One of my daughters had to have some pretty extensive work done and they did a great job of working with her. The dentists are great. We also had an emergency situation (chipped tooth), and the response from the dentists was very reassuring and helpful. Can't recommend them enough.

They made early morning appointments (7:30am) so that I don't have to deprive my kiddo from eating/drinking any longer than necessary (starts at midnight so no biggie there) I also picked up the special prescription from a local pharmacy and then brought it in with me. They let her pick a flavor, take a horrible substance that tastes nothing like the flavor no matter what you pick (haha) and then sit and wait for it to take effect in the waiting room. My kid passed out on me... they then called us in about 30 mins later and she came to just enough to be a little startled but they're pros at this and she made it through everything like a champ. Which was saying something since she went in really freaked out. We still have one other appointment to get the rest and I have no doubt it will be smooth because they have such a great staff and doc.

My daughter was there for a laser assisted cavity cleaning for an extremely minor cavity and then it was to be filled with the tooth acrylic. There was no reason to sedate her for that. The dentist was wonderful he reassured me in my decision and had her cavity gently taken care of in under 15mins. He is truly a saint and the only reason I bring all my children back. Most of the other dental assistants and office staff are wonderful.
