Upon pickup, we were given a bill for two nights and referred to a line on their website (that we'd never visited) that states pickup must be by 1pm or they charge another day. While this is a good policy, it needed to be communicated before-the-fact. Owner was rather smug about it, and I left feeling very ripped off. (we would have picked our dogs up before lunch instead of after if we had been told of their policy before-hand). Made me wonder if they were hard-up for business. Other than that, the runs were clean and moderate sized and our two dogs were in decent spirits and good condition when we picked them up.

Since our pup had spent his entire life living in a kennel (and didn't know about grass, cars, walks, toys, peanut butter--anything!), we had our work cut out for us. And we're first-time dog owners, to boot. Tricia was recommended to us after I posted on a community Reddit page. She promised to be our one-stop shop for dog help, and she's more than lived up to her promise. Not only did she help us potty-train our one-year-old pup and teach him basic commands, but she's helped us with everything from figuring out doggy daycare, grooming, pet supplies, etc. We see her once a week at our house or at a public place and also answers tons of questions from us via text/email in between sessions. Not only is Tricia great with our pup (he ADORES her), but she's great with us, too. She's super professional and prompt, and is helping us gain confidence as new dog owners. Her rates for overnight stays were completely reasonable, and honestly, with the amount of care given to our animals, she could justifiably charge much more. She sent updates, with pictures, several times a day, made sure we knew everything that had been going on from the moment we left town, to the moment she arrived at our place to take care of our family. She's nothing but professional, and even put our bed sheets in the washer, and washed out the dogs food and water bowls before leaving. She's absolutely magnificent with animals, and I know for a fact, we'll be asking her to come back again the next time we leave town.

The absolute worst dog sitter we've ever had. We went away on a 6 day trip where she charged us…read more$750. Prior to the trip, we explained that 2 out of the 4 tend to get into it around food when not supervised. As long as you're there, they're fine. She agreed to watch them and of course met them prior. Not 24 hours later my dogs barely leave the kennels, barely get water, and of course, the 2 dogs in question get into it bad enough that we had to come home and take them to the vet. She did not intervene she just stood there. We have it all on video from a security camera. Now, all we asked was to reimburse us for the unused days and we would have ended it. But no. She refuses to return calls and texts. She claimed to be injured, but the video evidence shows no injuries. Do not hire! She has no business caring for others dogs. The worst of it being she was paid to house sit, yet she was barely there and my poor dogs got water once.
