This is a beautiful hike with well kept, wide trails. The views are spectacular. You can see the water reservoir, whiteface mountain, and nothing but open space and in spring, it is nothing but green. I will be back!

Love this trail!! Yesterday our amazing friend help to clean 400 yards of tumble weeds. Hoping the parks and rec helps to clean up the best trail in Simi. Off to another hike in 2015!!

I've been to this trail a few different times when visiting family in the area. It never seems to be too crowded, however the trail is shared with dogs (watch for land minds) and bicycles (be aware of your six). The trails offer a range of difficulty, from a fairly steep incline to mostly level. Being as it's just down the street from where I usually stay, I'll definitely be back.

Came here around 11am on a Sunday afternoon and it was the perfect day! The weather was a bit cloudy so no sun to come beating down your back. :) the rain has made this place just so beautifully green! I would say this can be an easy hike but can get moderate intensity depending on if you want to do the longer trail. Parking is easy but can be limited. Maybe about 30 spots? There's signs everywhere to help you go the right way. Many friendly faces but not crowded. Well kept trails, although there were some rocky areas. May not be suitable for those with joint issues. There are many wild flowers blooming here. My husband actually followed google maps for the trails but when you get to the top, there are some paper maps you can borrow as well. Didn't see any wild animals, except for a hawk. Saw some cute little fur babies with their parents along the way. :) people come here for mountain biking too so please share the road. Took us about 2 hours to do one of the complete trail, but there are so many routes you can take. Loved it! :)

Great starting point to miles of different trails (Sunrise trail, Autumn Ridge trail, Lang Ranch Ridge, Meadow View). Some trails are fire roads, others are hiking/biking trails. Some benches. Lots of runners. Beautiful area! Let's use it and protect it :)

This hiking trail has lots of trails and is a little confusing without using a map. Today we did a little over 5 miles but ended up in a residential area. We found our way back but we would have liked to stay on the trail. Snakes are out so we didn't mind. Still a great workout

Such beautiful views! Can't believe this is my neighborhood!

I currently ride an AMFLOW eMTB, and my wife wanted something of her own so she could join the fun. On Sunday, we stopped by Trek Westlake Village and were greeted by Danny. I explained what my wife was looking for and some of the bikes we had considered in the past. Danny was incredible from start to finish. His communication, professionalism, and overall knowledge were outstanding. He took the time to give us a detailed overview of the brand, the store, and our options, and made the entire experience feel easy and enjoyable. The store itself is beautiful, well-stocked, and had everything we needed. They had the bike my wife wanted, although it still needed to be assembled, and she also picked up some accessories and clothing for her new bike. Danny even offered to have the bike delivered, but I decided to purchase a Kuat rack, which they also carried and helped build out for me. By Monday afternoon, everything was ready, and my wife could not have been happier with her choice. On pickup day, I also met Paul, who assisted Danny, and he was a pleasure to work with as well. We were able to get in a light 10-mile ride, and they truly made my wife's weekend. I can't recommend Trek Westlake Village enough. Super professional staff, great products, lots of options, excellent service, and very honest and transparent throughout the entire process. Big thank you again to Danny and Paul for everything!

Hikes with cool endings are always my favorite. This one definitely doesn't disappoint. It took me…read moretwo visits to figure out how to get here since there's not a lot of info on this one. It's about a 5-mile roundtrip hike. There's some tall brush that you'll have to walk through at the end so you may want to wear pants and wear hiking shoes. There are a number of different trails that can take take you here. I started from the trailhead located at the end of Falling Star Ave in Thousand Oaks. The trailhead is a little hidden. It's located off to the right at the end of a cul-de-sac. Make your way along the curvy Hidden Meadow Trail. You'll reach a fork where you will need to make a sharp right continuing uphill on Sandstone Hill Trail. After a decent incline, take a left at the fork and continue to head in an uphill direction. The trail eventually dead-ends at a power line transmission tower. From there you will see the arch high up on the mountain. You'll then probably say to yourself, fogettaboutit! But it's actually not as hard as it appears. There's a small path marked by a cairn. You will need to power your way up the hill. The trail is well-marked but really overgrown with tall dry brush. When you get to the top head left. The trail will lead you to the backside of the arch. Be sure to spend some time reading the short messages and view the various trinkets left by behind by people. Relax in the cool shade. Climb on top of the arch and appreciate the views. I really liked the inspirational message someone wrote. "Hope you find your peace and enjoy the beauty of your surroundings...Push through the pokey brush and trust your instincts carving a path."
