My son attended Little Ladybug Family Child Care starting when he was just under one. We chose this daycare because a family we trusted highly recommended it and said Michelle was amazing, and they were absolutely right. From day one, Michelle was incredibly warm, caring, and loving. My son loved going to daycare and was always excited to see her. He especially enjoyed the outdoor play, crafts, singing, and all the thoughtful activities she planned each day. Her home was always clean, and I truly felt like my child was safe and well cared for at all times. As a parent, the peace of mind meant everything. Michelle provided updates throughout the day, which made such a difference. It is huge to find a daycare where you do not have to worry and you know your child is in good hands. My son had some mild developmental delays, and what stood out most was how genuinely Michelle cared about helping him succeed and catch up. She was patient, attentive, and truly invested in his growth. Little Ladybug Family Child Care feels like a second home, and Michelle treats every child like her own. I would absolutely recommend her to any family looking for a safe, nurturing, and loving environment for their child.

I chose Little Ladybug based on the good reviews online and am sooo thankful I did. Michelle always has a tiny group of kids and so she is able to give each of them attention and the utmost care. She cooks nutritious meals for them and makes sure they eat (meanwhile TLE was letting my kid starve and "forgot" to give her milk or water daily). Another huge plus was the lack of daycare illnesses! My daughter is emotionally sensitive, but quickly grew to trust and love Michelle right away. I can tell she treats her kiddos with kindness and makes them feel secure and loved. She was truly a Godsend for my family!! It was bittersweet when we had to leave Little Ladybug for preschool. Anyone would be lucky to have a spot at this daycare!!

I never stated anything about whether your facility was is compliance with state licensing regulations, which are the bare minimum requirments for all licensed child care facilities and nothing to be bragging about. You say things like that your policies are "clearly communicated," with no such explanation of what you mean, when I provided factual details and pages of "critical context." You have now accussed me of "repeated concerns regarding hostile communication and ongoing disruptive interactions with staff." For the prospective families reading this, I implore you, Ms. Peggy, to define what your definitions of "hostile communication" and "ongoing disruptive interactions" and "combative" are. I also give you permission to state what dates and claims about me you are even referring to, but make sure to to include "critical context" without being "inaccurate" or "misleading" when doing so. Parents need to be aware that you were never around during the incidents I described, so you have no basis for knowing whether anything I described was inaccurate. I asked a lot of questions that your staff didn't like and 1st I was called "rude" for it and now that I documented my experiences, you are trying to label me "hostile." Shame on you. This is basic mean girl bullying and the wrong way to respond to a review because it is not 5 stars.

My 2.5 year old loves going to school and runs from me when I come to pick her up. She wants to stay and that is vastly different from her last school. We have been there for over a year now and I couldn't be happier. This is an incredible school with great values and a perfect balance of learning and play.

My son has been coming to Crossroads for a while now. My husband and I based our choice on not only…read morethe previous Yelp reviews, but also the recommendations of numerous (20+) mothers in a mothers group I am on in Simi Valley. We are very happy with our decision, and would wholeheartedly recommend Crossroads to other families who are looking for Childcare. It was our first time putting our son in non-family childcare and so understandably we were a bit nervous, however watching him grow and come home and talking about his friends is simply amazing. Crossroads is located at the church (Methodist), and they do teach age-appropriate bible learning. My family is non-denominational, however I think it is important to expose children to different things/teaching. My son will come home and explain to me the stories that he has heard (IE Jonah and the Whale) and also the teachings that he has heard (Sharing, Being Kind..all things that EVERYONE should know and SUPPORT!). Ms. Gordon (the program Director) explained that they would be sharing the teachings, but also that the program is open to everyone regardless of belief. I honestly find it very cute to hear a 4-year olds recollection of a Bible Tale. The staff is all awesome. Ms. Gordon, Ms. Theresa, Ms. Elizabeth. Mr. Ron (the cook) is literally all my son talks about. He gets snack and lunch provided by the school and it is often things like quesadillas, sliders, fruit, vegetables, milk, cereal, granola bars. It has definitely increased the types of food my son is willing to try. Communication from the school is awesome and they take safety as a top priority. I've had a few times where my son has fallen and scraped a knee and I have always gotten an accident/incident report and he always tells me that "teacher" takes care of it and put on a bandaid or a cool pack. Every once and a while the school will have events for parents (hindered by COVID obviously) but we have had Muffins in the Morning and got to go and join our student to make crafts, I really do love these events. The school takes a lot of COVID precautions (sanitizing, hand washing, and all adults wear masks) and I appreciate that the children do not have to wear masks (I personally feel its unrealistic to expect small children to wear masks all day in the California heat). There have only been 2 COVID incidents (one student as close contact to a family member, one confirmed case) since the pandemic began, and I think that speaks volumes for how much the staff cares and takes care of the school. Also, when there was a shutdown due to a case the school was very open and realistic in reaching out to parents and coming to an agreement (individually with each affected family) regarding tuition re-imbursement/payment for that month. Also the price is very, very, very, good for the quality of care and the learning and fun that my son gets to have there. Overall, I have nothing but good things to say about Crossroads and their staff. I really do recommend them for childcare.

These women are amazing! The kids have a great time and learn so much. We have been with them throughout Covid which was a hard time for all, but they were very understanding, cautious and communicative throughout the process. I have always gotten a family vibe from the school and the director and have been very honest (I have overpaid before and they caught and deducted from next month and even paid forward from Covid). To me that shows a lot of integrity, not to mention the extra stuff they offer like date nights, holiday shows, etc. The teachers always communicate if there has been any illnesses and also if my kid or they are concerned about something. When we were looking for childcare, my sister, who works in the school/childcare industry, really liked the way everything was set up and their policies and I am happy with our decision. I remember the first day we walked in everything was so calm and neat. Everything is always neat and clean as well.

Update review: 2.5 years attending…read more I have recently felt a need to write an updated review, especially as I see new families touring the school. My oldest daughter will be leaving TLC next month to attend elementary school and I will have one last child transitioning to Ms. Mitra's older group (4+). I could spend days writing about each lady and how amazing they have been with my daughters at every stage of their growth from infant (Ms. Swarna and Ms. Maryam) to toddler (Ms. Nina, Ms. Crystal, and Ms. Elizabeth). All of the ladies including others I have not mentioned have made my daughters feel loved and heard as opinionated toddlers now. Specifically though I want to highlight Ms. Mitra, my daughter Sofía has been with her for this past year and has grown immensely academically and socially. She is the much needed structure that older little kids need. Ms. Mitra has done an AMAZING job preparing my daughter for school. She has learned everything that she needs and more to excel in kindergarten. As a teacher myself I understand the work and countless hours that one spends at home preparing for her students. I know that Ms. Mitra puts in 120% into everything she does and teaches our children. I am beyond grateful for everyone at this school and can't imagine not having all of these great ladies supporting my children but they will have to grow and move on. For those considering this school, you cannot find anything better and most importantly piece of mind that your kids are well.

Has me thinking how are you treating him when I'm not around??? My son use to be so happy to go to daycare!! Now he cry's every time we drop him off since this new lady is there. She definitely shouldn't be working with kids... Ms. Zakia the 2nd teacher in that class is the sweetest teacher that loved my son as her own! I wish they cared of the people they would hire because now I need to change daycares due to these new changes.
