We were supposed to have several DVR's but they installed all basic boxes with no DVR's but were charged for DVR's. There was a technician at our house one to two times a month! Needless to say we no longer have them. If you want any results regarding issues you would need to go to the Charter office in Bozeman. The salesman who came to the door (who DirecTV claims doesn't work for them.) Made promises that were never kept. $100 gift cert for signing up, guaranteed my bill would be $115 for the entire period of my contract. And WORST OF ALL, I noticed an odd charge on my credit card, which I had to provide to get the cable activated. A 3rd party affiliate of DirecTV was charging my card every month. First, I never agreed to DirecTV giving out my credit card information. When I called DirecTV, I was informed that the payment was for insurance on my remote and cable hardware. Also, something I didn't agree to. It showed up on my statement as Clearsat/Ironshield. When I contacted DirecTV they stated that they couldn't terminate the insurance and that I'd have to contact Clearsat (Clear satellite) directly, which I did. Clearsat informed me that if I wanted to terminate the insurance that I'd have to do so through DirecTV. I played this back and forth for a few hours before eventually having to cancel my credit card. DirecTV also never had an answer for how Clearsat received my credit card information even though I only ever provided it to DirecTV. Shady as shit, and while before I may not have liked a cable provider, I abosolutely LOATHE DirecTV.

had Montana internet for about 8 years and have never gotten a download speed above 3mbps even…read morethough the plan I am paying for is 20mbps+. in my area there is not many providers so they decided to install fiber optic about 4 years ago which is ironic considering they said it would only take 2 years and now we are going onto the 5th with no updates. worst internet company I have ever seen, worst service I have ever seen, and they don't even give you the speed you pay for. 0/10 just buy starlink or go without internet because it would probably be better than having barely enough speed to open a chrome tab. btw there is a 95% chance your internet goes out if winds are over 5mph
