That alone says so much about how much we love living here. I truly feel safe and secure in this community, which is such an important thing for me. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful. They always greet you with a smile and are patient whenever you have questions (or call them multiple times like me.) The office gals, Leah, Allison, and Jackie (and I know there is another floater but I can't recall her name right now) are especially sweet and understanding, which makes such a difference in my experience here. They take the time to plan different events for us as residents to help build community and I love and appreciate that so much! Maintenance is also amazing..always timely, professional, and so helpful. We absolutely love Gus!! He's the best and always makes sure everything is taken care of quickly and with care. Paloma really feels like home to us. We're so happy we chose to stay and upgrade instead of leaving. Highly recommend living here!

    Harris Place - Living Room

    Harris Place

My girlfriend and I lived here for over a year and a half, and I can honestly say that this was the…read morebest apartment complex I could've asked for. In the beginning, we were worried about the smell of manure from across the street, but I've only ever smelled it a few times throughout living here. The smell is nowhere near as strong as in other apartments in Ontario. I was also a bit surprised at the cost of rent for an apartment complex in a location such as this one, but we decided to give it a shot, and it was the best decision we've made. Pros: 1. First off, and most importantly, we have the best community manager in Maya. She truly cares about her tenants and works to make them happy. She always addresses issues promptly and takes time out of her day just to converse and get to know her tenants. She is someone you absolutely want as your community manager, as we all know how upsetting it is to have one that is rude, slow, lazy, etc. She also puts together some events occasionally throughout the year. The best one was when there was a free taco stand, pizza, drinks, and a DJ, and all the neighbors got together in the basketball court and had a good time. 2. The maintenance man, Rafael, is extremely friendly and also gets things done promptly. He works closely with Maya to determine priorities, so more urgent matters get taken care of first. I haven't had too many maintenance issues regarding my apartment unit, but every time I did, he was really nice and finished his job quickly. Even with other problems, he would be glad to help, including a time when my girlfriend needed a jump-start for her car, he didn't hesitate to help. 3. The apartment complex is well-kept, as there is a landscaping man, Felipe, always blowing the leaves, trimming the grass, and just making everything look beautiful. You can tell he works hard, even when it was 100 degrees out everyday during the summer, he was out there sweating and working hard in the heat! I never saw him just sitting around or slacking off. 4. I was initially also concerned about safety, as I was aware of a lot of apartment complexes where cars would get broken into. During my whole time here, I haven't ever seen any cars with broken windows, nor have I even heard from anyone that their cars were broken into. I felt safe throughout my stay here and haven't encountered any suspicious activity. 5. The complex is quiet. Although during the day after school, there are kids that run around and yell outside, once the sun sets and you're back from work, there is no noise. You can have a nice relaxing night and enjoy your sleep. Cons: 1. The rent could be lower, especially for a complex that is right across the street from a farm, with nothing else really nearby. My upstairs neighbors moved out several months ago, and they haven't found anyone to replace them, mostly because of the cost. It seems like they lost A LOT more money having a vacant unit for several months, rather than lowering the rent by $100 or so, or having a special like first month free to get someone to move in asap. 2. The location isn't too great. Every time we wanted to eat out somewhere decent, we would have to drive 15-20 mins over to Chino/Chino Hills/Rancho. But of course this is a con for any apartment complex in the area. 3. The balconies have small gaps between the flooring, so a lot of things can fall through, including detergent that they spilled every now and then that would drip down onto our patio. I wish they would redo the balconies such that there are no gaps in the flooring. I absolutely enjoyed my stay here, but I got a new job, so unfortunately, I have to move. Overall, I would highly recommend moving into Harris Place if you are considering it! I would seriously not waste my time writing an in-depth review like this if it wasn't worth it.

I lived in this community for 1 year, and recently moved out…read more Pros: 1. Maintenance is usually on time and very helpful 2. Parking isn't an issue, it's usually pretty easy to find spots. Cons: 1. Expect a major, major struggle to receive your deposit back. When I moved out, I was charged $750 for liquid damage underneath the carpet. While we did have pets during our lease here, they have never had an accident on the carpet - I would have known (and likely would not be writing this review!), and there would be some visible damage to the carpet if so, even if we cleaned it up. There would be no way to fix this damage before moving out without ripping back the carpet ourselves, the carpet wasn't new when we moved in, and property management is clearly taking advantage of us in this situation. Management would not rip back carpet unless they were already going to replace it for the next tenant. Additionally, $750 is an outrageous fee for patches UNDER the carpet with liquid damage. I have been contacting the office for two weeks to try to talk to someone about this but associates keep telling me they'll get their manager to help me out - and the manager never does. It took an angry phone call today where I stopped being professional and nice for someone to listen and actually make an appointment. It may take legal action to get my money back here, since staff is not prioritizing my concern. 2. The leasing office is incredibly hard to call / contact. Most times, when I try to call, no one picks up and I am left with a patronizing "Sorry, we missed your call" note with no way to leave a message. 3. The gates do not close, ever. Safety is a major concern - why does this community have gates if they are never in use? The leasing team answers this question by saying "technically, we are not a gated community." 4. My car was dented while it was parked in a spot and the leasing office team was not helpful at all - the associate I spoke with said that he didn't know where the cameras were located on the property. This should be basic knowledge for staff. 5. Maintenance on random amenities during peak months. During the summer of 2025, the pool near my unit was under maintenance for maybe 1-2 months. Why perform long-term maintenance on the pool during the hot summer months? 6. It is really dusty in this area. I had to wash my car way more often while living here than in my new place or in any prior apartments. 7. (About the renovated apartments) - the building materials they use are incredibly cheap. The shower tile / glaze they use gave me cuts in my hands while trying to clean it because it would flake off so easily. The counters chipped with regular use. The dishwasher in our unit was falling out of place. When we moved in, the dryer vent wasn't even connected to the outside, leaving our apartment humid and uncomfortable every time we ran the dryer. Maintenance did fix this. I would not recommend renting with Citrine Hills. Management staff can be nice and polite, but when it comes to the things that matter about an apartment, this property missed the mark for me on almost all fronts. I am so glad to be out of here.

I wasn't sure what my start date was so I couldn't give the notice at that time. She was suppose to email me a form for the termination. Guess what? She never did. I went back to the office when I got my official start date in Atlanta. She told me she didn't have the form (how funny) and I could give her a written notice. I went to my apartment and wrote and notice and gave it to Maria. Fast forward my last week at the apartment, I get a call from Maria that they should have received the fee to break my lease at the time I dropped off the letter. Well guess what they had to wait because my company was transferring the funds to my account. Not a problem. Also, Liz had no idea that I even put my notice in because Maria never put it in the system. And I still don't know to this day where she put my notice. Fast forward to now, my job lagged super hard on getting me the funds. I log in to see if I can pay online and my total is almost 5k. When I look at the fees, they charged me for this month (month of March) even though my 30 day notice has the 7th on there. I was confused because when I talked to Liz she said I was to pay the termination fee and the prorated amount for the 7 days. So why are you charging me for a full month. Not only that I received an email for next month for an additional $700. I sent a email to Maria asking why my total was so high. I explained that I went online to pay and my total isn't correct. And I'm not paying anything until they correct my total. Well guess what?!! Maria never responded. And my access to the site to pay was removed after I sent the email. This place is a scam. And it's a shame because I was there for a little over a year and a half and I really didn't have any issues or problems with my apartment or the leasing staff. Liz has always been great. But Maria is the worse. She seems to know nothing. Because of that I would never recommend this place. First of all I know it's California and everything is expensive but the price is not worth what the apartments look like inside or outside. I seen people talk about roaches. I've never had that issue. Just spiders which should be expected since it is an older complex. But these games with my final fees is Crazy. Beware is all I can say.
