I don't understand why I always see so many bad reviews I literally love living here. I love the fact that we have an underground parking , I love the gym , I love having elevators , the apartments are like literally new. The models of the appts are like really nice. . Not to mention almost every morning I see cleaning people cleaning the hallways and it smeellls super clean. Everyone minds their businessss Lastly the manager TANYA. let me telll you !!!! The manager TANYA was VERY unprofessional we had over 800 credit score and good income she made us wait over 3 weeks for a answer on getting approved or not for the apartment literally ridiculous!!! And every time we asked her for a update she always told us about "don't worry you're fine" but would always ask us for more and more information that was very unesscary! They lost good tenants instead she's looking out for her ghetto friends to live here she even said herself half the apartment is filled with people she knows. We've been living here for almost 2 years and since Day 1 I've loved it here. You're in the middle of the city! Right next too City Hall and the Library! During the Summertime they have concerts in the Town Square and car shows! Unfortunately they got canceled this year due to COVID-19 but they're just amazing! The staff inside the office are just an amazing bunch. Always willing to help you any way they can and go above and beyond! I've seen post on how some parts are dirty but that isn't managements fault, it's the tenants that don't know how to clean after themselves! They have a great Clubroom, Gym , Pool and Jacuzzi! I'll be sad when I move out but I know anyone who moves in will be in great hands! read more

I've had to move from this nightmare apartment complex due to the Property Manager Peter FU. He is one of the most unprofessional people I have ever come across. He badgers and intimidates residents and issues a 60 day notice if you question why they ask for information in the re-certification process that has nothing to do with monthly income, but everything to do with determining your net value which will be monetized through securities sold on the stock market without your knowledge. He refused on at least three separate occasions to provide the phone number for Ontario Affordable Housing and then tried to force me out through an illegal action through the court. I have spoken to many other residents who have had the same experience with Peter FU. He tried evicting me through fear, but I do my homework and put them on notice for not complying with the legal requirements to do so. If you like being watched by big brother this is the place for you. I, on the other hand have freed myself from the tyranny of Peter FU and his cohorts. read more

Terrible management! The ladies in the office are rude and never answer the phone. It's no wonder the turn around rate in management is so high. The stupid fire alarms that are inside our apartments are crazy loud and go off all the time in the middle of the night. You have tenants that live like pigs and throw their trash outside and also in the elevators. I try to contact management about the problem but they are never there! Parking is underground which blows, just imagine how many times you have to go up and down when you get groceries. So as I'm making my transition to leave, I called the office and reminded them that my lease was up in 2 weeks and that I no longer wish to stay there. The lady in the office got attitude with me saying we should have gave them 1 months notice. Why the fuck do I need to give you guys a months notice?! You already know when my lease ends! With attitude, she responds, "its in your contract." Really? In other words I was forced to stay another month. It's not over there... I called them to do my final checkout mine you they probably wouldn't have came and done it if I did not remind them about it my checkout appointment. Long story short they WILL screw you in the deposit. They make up some shit that you scuff marks on the walls and they have to repaint them. I also have to pay for professional shampoo service for the carpet. I come from the military, so when I clean something to the point where it looks better than when it was new. I don't want any problems with them so I'll just pay the damn fee and get out of there. Sadly, there are many others that are being screwed over. I strongly do NOT recommend metro 102 read more

My Husband and I lived in one of the 1 bedroom/1 bathroom units for a little over 2 years (moved out June 2017). We had a great experience and were really happy the entire time that we were there. The leasing office staff changed a couple of times during our time, but we never had any difficulties communicating with management or maintenance. The apartment complex is generally new and the individual units are modern, large and have every amenity you could ask for. The value of this complex can not be beat. It is nearly impossible to find an apartment community in this area that offers all the same amenities for even close to the same cost. Maintenance was also really great and were always very quick to respond to work orders. I am reading a few complaints regarding the upkeep of the complex. I wouldn't necessarily blame management for this. Some of the tenants that live there are disgusting and are too lazy to walk to the trash chutes (which are at the end of the hall - on every floor). The leasing office makes efforts to post public notices regarding the issue and the maintenance guy is fairly quick to clean up issues throughout the complex. I would recommend that the leasing office get after tenants regarding leaving trash at their doors with a bit more conviction though (maybe walk each floor every day and impose fees on the culprits). Being that the complex is off of Holt Blvd and some of the surrounding area is slightly run down, there are occasionally "interesting" characters in the surrounding area after dark. The actual complex is pretty secure though, with key fob protected entrance doors, side gates and garage. Parking is also ample most of the time. The surrounding parking does get crowded when Ontario Town Square hosts the Wednesday Farmers Market/Concert in the Park in the summer and when car show/parade events occur off of Euclid Ave. It is great to be walking distance from these events though. Overall, we enjoyed our time living at Metro 102 and appreciate the staff, Brittney, Passion, Steven (if he is still there) and Andre for all their efforts. read more

Dont move here ! I've lived here for a year an a half now our property got bought again by a new management in January 2015, this is the first month and I am already having problems. With my families busy schedule we like to pay rent online now there's a $50 fee to pay rent online??? Really they just make it hard to pay them and to top it off I've been trying to get ahold of the office to get the new residence number and they haven't been returning my call. I am so annoyed with them . Not to mention I put in a request that my sink has been leaking and it's been like that for two weeks. Ever since Michelle left this place has gone to crap. How do I begin... This place is Amazing! My wife and I have lived here a year now and we still are in love with this place. We moved into a huge one bedroom and found that the appliances, the storage, and the decor were great. In June we found out we were pregnant and upgraded to a two bedroom. Our two bedroom is one of the 8 largest units in the complex. We have more room than we no what to do with! The open concept kitchen/living room is great for when we have parties and the guest bathroom that can be accessed through a hallway, not a bedroom is a huge plus. On top of all of the great things in our apartment, the complex is beautiful too. Our dog has a great place to run around and do her business, the pool is always clean and the spa is always hot!. The gym is first rate and the community room, which we have hosted several parties in, is a great place to gather. The greatest part of this community, however, is the staff. Kim, the community director, is knowledgeable and always welcomes you with a hello! She works hard to solve problems in the community and ensure that all of the residents are happy. She will even set time away from her busy schedule to just sit and chat with us residents! The maintenance supervisor, Steven, is great as well. His team works hard and fast to solve any maintenance problems in the unit, and does so with a smile. i would recommend this community to anyone and everyone who is looking for a great apartment complex that feels like home! read more

I love these apartments but.... my issue is with other tenants who live here it's disgusting every day I walk to throw out trash and instead of it being in the trash shoot it's all over the floor it's gross. The worst thing is the stair cases every time I have to take the stairs I literally vomit when I get home because of the horrible urine odor especially stairway 7 also my son has stepped in dog poop more then once going down the stairs I don't understand why it's so hard to clean after you're dogs please be more respectful of the people who live here other then the fact that I smell dog pee everywhere these apartment are great spacious and a great price read more

Update: there have been a couple updates, which I'm happier about. The office extended their hours back on Saturdays which has been awesome. I can walk in an ask questions. They have fixed the alarms, finally. That's a relief. We also received notices about leaving out trash out. Hopefully with a fine looming over tenants heads they will stop. Plus our facilities guys are constantly cleaning so it's no longer as noticeable to me. I'm still giving a 4/5 stars because I do still need to call a couple times before the line doesn't hang up on me when I just want to ask a quick question. They do usually answer now and are really understanding. The only reason I'm giving it 2 stars is because I've been trying to contact the office for weeks if not months. Leaving messages, emailing and calling. The newer management company doesn't respond. It's been so frustrating trying to ask a question. The grounds are really pretty and the apartment is great. The fire alarm goes off for hours in the apartments about once a month and it literally hurts to be in the bedrooms so you have to stand on your balcony or wear headphones. And when I say "go-off" I don't mean once. It's usually about 3-8 times in 3 hours and it has occurred as late as 3:00 am, or as early as 6:00 pm. The facility staff do their best and are really responsive and wonderful if you call them or place a ticket for maintenance. They'll come usually same day. The people that live there sometimes have a hard time putting the trash in the actual trash shoot. So instead they throw their trash on the ground and facilities has to clean it up a couple days later when they see it. Or I try to clean up when it's not gross diapers. Also, you have to pay water and the rest of the normal stuff. It just adds up and doesn't feel worth it if I can't friggin talk to anyone in the office. I'm sure you're thinking, "well just walk-in", good idea. But since I leave for work at 6 am and return around 6pm I can't catch them during their 9-5 office hours. Oh, and the new Metro management no longer has Saturday hours, so I'm SOL. read more

Very pleased with my new 1 bedroom home. The move in process was seamlessly smooth & even after becoming a tenant, the communication is great. The perks of living here far outdo any other apartments complex in the area. There are so many things within walking distance such as the Ovitt Library (which is open 7 days a week, has 2 floors & stays open until 9pm), The gym & pool are great and EVERYONE I have passed by is so friendly. My apartment came fully loaded. ALL appliances included (microwave, fridge, washer dryer, dishwasher) and lighting equivalent to that of brand new house. Nice size walk in closet and an awesome amount of cabinets/storage in the kitchen and bathroom. An apartment of this caliber in LA would EASILY go for upwards of $1800/month. & that's for a 1 bedroom LOL. I LOVE how secure the grounds are and how eventho I live on the 3rd floor, my car still doesn't feel too far away. The underground parking is also awesome. My ONLY con would be the train. I am able to hear it during every passing since it has to blow its horn but its not too annoying & wouldn't have been a deal breaker regardless. Other than the train, it has been consistently quiet at night. I haven't had any issues with things not working or ants but if I do I know Jennifer will have it fixed fast. read more

The metro 102 apartment is a awesome place. They're staff Passion and Brittney are such wonderful and professional people , since day 1 I met them . Not even a resident yet already Passion and Brittney were extremely helpful to getting me qualified to become a resident. I was having issues getting qualified because of past property management and living in an unsafe environment. I explained my situation to Brittney and Passion and they personally picked up the phone and started making calls for me to clarify the situation. I'm so grateful they were understanding and even extended my hold on the unit I was interested in . I been living here at the metro 102 apartments since the beginning of 2017 , and I love it. My husband and I first took a look at these apartments in April 2015. We met with Jennifer and she gave us a tour of several apartments and the entire property. Jennifer was very kind and took her time with us. We were put on a waiting list for a two bedroom which she said might be available until August 2015. Throughout that time, Jennifer emailed us every time there was something available. I was very particular about what I wanted and changed my mind a couple of times, ie., what floor I wanted the apartment on. She was very patient and responded to all my questions. We ended up moving in July into a 2 bedroom apartment on the third floor. We have loved living here ever since. We have a large golden retriever and were concerned about having a large dog in an apartment. From the first day we moved here, we realized what a dog friendly apartment complex this is. There is a pet area right in the middle where we take our dog to go potty. We often run into other friendly tenants and their dogs. We love that this apartment complex is in downtown Ontario which makes it a really nice area to walk your dog. Also, there is a dog park on the other side of Euclid. We practically take our dog there every day for exercise. So the location is just amazing! There has been some things that we didn't like but they've all been resolved. At first our washer and dryer wasn't working, but they took care of it promptly and even replaced our washing machine. There has been a bit of a ant problem but we signed up for them to come in and fumigate and it seems to be helping. Also, there has been fire alarms in the middle of the night which can get a bit irritating but the staff has addressed it also. I like that the staff here is constantly addressing any issues of the property. They constantly post flyers in the elevators which helps us understand whats going on. We always see staff cleaning and maintaining the property. Steven the maintenance guy is also so helpful and friendly. All in all, we love living here and couldn't be happier with our choice. read more

As a business owner I'm HUGE on client treatments and I haven't a negative thing to say here..The grounds were kept clean and I loved the measures they take to do their best in regards to safety (coded entry to grounds and parking). Lived here for a year and at first I thought it was such an amazing nice place. Management kept changing constantly and no one ever answers the phone when you call. Or when I would go to their office they were always close or taking a long lunch break. One time it said they will be back in an hour and I go back 2 hours later, their still in lunch! You can hear them giggling from the door. Must be working hard!! Also when you have visitors over you have to go downstairs and let them in because they will not give you an access code for the door! Also visitors should be able to dial your number from the door and you can let them in from your phone. But that never worked! When I asked them for a code for the door they wouldn't give me one because it's only for delivery men or emergencies. Well one time I called the police and they couldn't get in cause they did not know the code and I didn't either. So if you have an emergency the cops can not get in...so you're screwed!! Plus I have a newborn so every time I had a visitor I had to go downstairs with him to let them in. I just told people to not visit me since my newborn was sick and I did not want to go downstairs constantly to open the door. Later on there was a nice delivery guy that gave me the code for the door!! Was that so hard for the office to do?! I could go on.. this place seriously sucks! I'm so glad I am finally out of there. Plus they never send you a letter in advance letting you know that your lease is going to be up and you should give a 30 days notice if your planning on leaving?! We did not know this since we were never told that! So we had to stay another month and pay that months rent! When we just wanted to leave. I told them we did not know about the 30 day notice..they just told us "it's in your lease" yeah that shit is about 50 pages long. Do a better job at running your apartments and hire better people! And keep the trash room clean. People that live here are disgusting pigs! Hallways always smell like weed! And always see crackheads. One time I got home at night and their was a bum hiding under the stairs. Anyone can get in the doors, people always leave a rock in between the door which doesn't make it safe. I've lived in these apartments for 3 years now. Originally I loved the apartments! I still give them a 3/5 but they do not do well on keeping there residents happy! I have a horrible dryer that they will not replace even though they have replaced other peoples. I pay a lot for a one bedroom and all I ask is for a dryer that gives me dry clothes. There's been some updates since living few months after moving and they got a new management in the office has been way better and extended their hours back to the weekends the girls that are now in the office are very helpful answer any questions I need and get back to me right away the maintenance is greatly fix things right away and like I said in the previous posting I love living in these apartments are amazing and I love how close to everything I need. The only issues I've been having lately is with the washer when we first moved in it broke down they replaced it right away with a brand new one it's been working fine but lately whenever it gets to the rise and spin cycle it's been having problems so hopefully it'll be fixed shortly which I believe it will cuz lately they've been getting back to me right away. read more

The management is terribly unorganized here. The management NEVER answers the phone and I have put in the same request to get my dryer fixed FOUR TIMES and nobody has come in to fix it. The main reason I moved here was for the convenience of having washer/dryers and the dryer doesn't even work. It's been two weeks since I first put in the request; this is completely unacceptable. When I first moved in, it was obvious that nobody had bothered to inspect the unit as the floors were all scratched up from the fridge and stove being moved. Also, the walls were dirty as they had not been repainted after the previous tenants moved out. I love the actual apartment, the quietness of the community, and the amenities but this place needs efficient management that actually cares about the tenants. I almost forgot to mention that last week someone's window was shattered in the parking lot and when I called the leasing office all they said was "we already took care of it" no explanation or anything when I have a right to know if my safety as a tenant is being compromised. Extremely sketchy and weird that they didn't even offer an explanation. On top of the fact that they never answer the phones, I've gone into the actual office 3 times where the office closed early or the manager just simply wasn't there. Today conveniently on the day that rent is due, the office is closed yet again during what should be normal business hours. What kind of management company doesn't have a person who fills in when management isn't around? I'm already fed up and I haven't even lived here a month. read more

These apartments are pretty nice... we seen the model and it seems a little small and crowded but not too bad... their one bedrooms run for about 1,281.00 & you are responsible for all utilities. .. their parking is under ground.... and they also hav some on the sidelines of the street... the area of the apartments is a lil ghetto.. but hey what can you say... if you have a misdemeanor for a dui... don't bother applying here bcuz..they will deny you...... nd you'll have wasted 46 dollars just for an application fee... other then that they are pretty coooll... the washer n dryer are in your room so as you can guess its pretty small...and takes a while to clean ...but good luck to you..I give it a two stars bcuz...I like the granite counters in kitchen..that's about it :) read more

If I could give these apartments a negative rating I would. This new management is too disorganized. They need to hire competent people that know how to handle their business. It seems to be a popular place to lease, the staff should be equipped to process the applications properly, and they should have at least have the decency and customer service skills to call to let me know that on my move in day my application had not been completely processed, so I don't show up with my car loaded with boxes to be turned away. The poor management of this complex is going to run it into the ground. I do not recommend leasing here. read more

This is a place that has an excellent working team. The Young Ladies in the Office are wonderful to talk to. Passion and Brittany are courteous and attentive to your requests. The Young Man who is in charge of Maintenance and Repair is one of the most friendliest and responsive employee I have seen. Andre is quick and accurate to repair orders. I would recommend these apartments to anybody interested! From the very beginning, the staff here has been extremely helpful and kind. Jennifer helped us find the perfect unit and also helped us out every single step all the way until the move in day, and even so after. Upon move in there were several minor issues and Jennifer addressed them immediately and took care of them, free of any problems. She continues to offer us tons of help and we feel extremely welcomed here. She is amazing at what she does! We have lived here for only a week thus far, however, we can already tell we will enjoy this community. It is kept pretty clean, security does not seem to be an issue here, office and maintenance staff are amazing and on top of everything, and the people here seem really nice. On move in day, the unit was completely clean, re-painted, and it almost looked brand new. Lived here for a year and it was pretty good but as of January the place been bought out again and the new management is horrible they aren't really welcoming I've called and spoke to them in person and over phone to correct an issue and it's been a month and still nothing been taken care of also lease is coming up as of March and it looks very unlikely that I'll be renewing my lease either since I was suppose to have a renewal contract back in January and I talked to them and they said their waiting on an approval to for the new contract I believe their trying to raise the rent up and have me float for a month I never heard such a thing horrible new management read more
