MGR property management is the absolute worst. My truck was towed from my assigned parking spot in the middle of the night (1:20am) without any warning or phone call. Nearly contacted the police to report a stolen vehicle, after waking up for work to find my truck missing. I was required to pay the impound fee myself. I am now unable to get any response from corporate about the incident. I would advise anyone looking for a rental property to avoid any owned by MGR. read more

I called to speak with the manager, Maya, and straight away she was VERY defensive. The reason for me calling is because I wanted to bring up an ongoing issue with the amount of trash that builds up around the complex. Also, the designated trash areas are overflowing with dish washers, empty paint gallons piling up all around and behind the trash areas. It looks like a mini City dump. There also needs to be a policy about NOT feeding the feral cats. Again, by the trash, endless amounts residents leave numerous bowls of cat food and throughout the premises. There are SO MANY FERAL CATS HERE it feels like a City pound. DO NOT MOVE HERE unless you like City Dumps and City Animal Pounds!!! read more

Duration: 11/30/18-11/30/19 The year my boyfriend and I spent at the Harris Place apartments in Ontario was absolutely amazing. Maya the apartment manager made moving in very easy, she was very helpful our entire stay. Very easy to talk to, very friendly and always professional. The complex is always kept very clean and well maintained. There were also fun complex activities that we attended. The area itself is a quiet, peaceful location. Our unit was very spacious, it never needed any repairs aside from the improvements the complex was making on its own. We would have absolutely loved to have stayed but due to my work location we had to leave. I would highly recommend the Harris Place apartments and would love to return. read more

Well everyone debating on staying here please see management response. They just admitted to the issue. They also just ignored the complaint of an actual tenant and accused them of being a former employee instead of addressing any concerns. Would you really want to stay at a place like this when this is how they respond to concerns. I know the former employee they think I am Maya because she was here when it was discovered that rats were in some of the apartments of building C. She also told me to keep it quiet and while was working here I did because she did try to make sure it was taken care. Though not good enough but with corporate responding in such way I imagine it wasn't her fault. These buildings should be tented anyway. It's so many rats living in the attic that sealing off entry points simply won't work. You can hear them scratching in the walls and they put traps and actually removed a huge one from the attic when they checked the trap but of course I still hear more in the walls. Take care of your tenants and property. Conduct yourself with professionalism and address concerns instead of asking is this a former employee. Disgusting! Any prospective tenant that wants to message me personally can dm me. I'll let you come to my apartment and hear the rats scratch the walls. It happens continuously throughout the day so it will be no problem. I have been here for a few years now and can tell you everything you need to know. AVOID! read more

My girlfriend and I lived here for over a year and a half, and I can honestly say that this was the best apartment complex I could've asked for. In the beginning, we were worried about the smell of manure from across the street, but I've only ever smelled it a few times throughout living here. The smell is nowhere near as strong as in other apartments in Ontario. I was also a bit surprised at the cost of rent for an apartment complex in a location such as this one, but we decided to give it a shot, and it was the best decision we've made. Pros: 1. First off, and most importantly, we have the best community manager in Maya. She truly cares about her tenants and works to make them happy. She always addresses issues promptly and takes time out of her day just to converse and get to know her tenants. She is someone you absolutely want as your community manager, as we all know how upsetting it is to have one that is rude, slow, lazy, etc. She also puts together some events occasionally throughout the year. The best one was when there was a free taco stand, pizza, drinks, and a DJ, and all the neighbors got together in the basketball court and had a good time. 2. The maintenance man, Rafael, is extremely friendly and also gets things done promptly. He works closely with Maya to determine priorities, so more urgent matters get taken care of first. I haven't had too many maintenance issues regarding my apartment unit, but every time I did, he was really nice and finished his job quickly. Even with other problems, he would be glad to help, including a time when my girlfriend needed a jump-start for her car, he didn't hesitate to help. 3. The apartment complex is well-kept, as there is a landscaping man, Felipe, always blowing the leaves, trimming the grass, and just making everything look beautiful. You can tell he works hard, even when it was 100 degrees out everyday during the summer, he was out there sweating and working hard in the heat! I never saw him just sitting around or slacking off. 4. I was initially also concerned about safety, as I was aware of a lot of apartment complexes where cars would get broken into. During my whole time here, I haven't ever seen any cars with broken windows, nor have I even heard from anyone that their cars were broken into. I felt safe throughout my stay here and haven't encountered any suspicious activity. 5. The complex is quiet. Although during the day after school, there are kids that run around and yell outside, once the sun sets and you're back from work, there is no noise. You can have a nice relaxing night and enjoy your sleep. Cons: 1. The rent could be lower, especially for a complex that is right across the street from a farm, with nothing else really nearby. My upstairs neighbors moved out several months ago, and they haven't found anyone to replace them, mostly because of the cost. It seems like they lost A LOT more money having a vacant unit for several months, rather than lowering the rent by $100 or so, or having a special like first month free to get someone to move in asap. 2. The location isn't too great. Every time we wanted to eat out somewhere decent, we would have to drive 15-20 mins over to Chino/Chino Hills/Rancho. But of course this is a con for any apartment complex in the area. 3. The balconies have small gaps between the flooring, so a lot of things can fall through, including detergent that they spilled every now and then that would drip down onto our patio. I wish they would redo the balconies such that there are no gaps in the flooring. I absolutely enjoyed my stay here, but I got a new job, so unfortunately, I have to move. Overall, I would highly recommend moving into Harris Place if you are considering it! I would seriously not waste my time writing an in-depth review like this if it wasn't worth it. read more

Living at Harris Place has been great. It is a gated community and neighborhood is safe. It is very diverse here and everyone living in this complex is very friendly. Plenty of parking, if not, there is plenty of street parking as well. The apartment manager, Maya, has been very helpful. She takes time to build a manager-tenant relationship with you and addresses any concerns promptly. The maintenance man, Rafael, has also been helpful, fixing any apartment issues. We have lived here for a very long time and with the constant raising rent have lost a lot of friends. The management company hasn't taken very good care of us but there's one reason we stay here and that's the apartment manager Maya. She goes above and beyond to bring the community together. Always solves any issues we have since she has taken over. She sincerely cares and is the only reason we're still here. She started a block Watch program and hosted the National Night Out bring in the whole entire complex together which was great for our children. she has an extremely difficult job running the entire complex and always makes time for anybody who needs to talk and is always on top of anything that needs to be fixed or done. We just received a letter stating our rent is going up 12% per month for such a run down place that is in serious need of total renovation. Because of such an increase we are forced to move. When questioned Ramona replied they can go as high as 10% if they give 60 days notice. First off - 12 is more than 10 and we were only given 55 days. Really don't want to fight. If I could give a negative star I would. Staff is fine but I'm thinking the management company is getting greedy. read more

Great small community, very peaceful and quiet. The staff is super friendly and always willing to help. Ramona and Jorge are are always available and willing to help. The problem is the management company. The apartments are rundown and in need of serious upgrades. I can not even count how many timed in the last year I have had to call for maintenance its been so many. New floors, new sink, new tub, new carpet, holes in the sub floor, mice, garbage disposal, blinds twice, bad smells from the drains, mosquitos from poor drainage and over watering, broken drawers in kitchen and bathrooms.... ...... all fixed (well, to the best of their ability) but it just doesn't stop... every week its something new. The steet the apartments are on also house homeless people who live in there cars and watch you day in and day out and you never know when your going to come home from work and find your apartment ransacked. And the worst part.... They are literally kicking us out after only being hear 1 year by raising our rent $145 all at once and no option for a lease!!! We don't even qualify for the apartment anymore. Sad!! We planned on staying here for a wile but simply can not afford it. read more
