The Crossings is an amazing place to live. Hands down I love living here. No complaints except that…read moresome people don't pick their dogs crap up in the dog park. You can leave the hood but you can't take the hood out of some people unfortunately. But overall this is a great place to live. Super clean and spacious apartments. 1,2, and 3 bedrooms. Huge dog park, kids playground, legit gym (not just a few treadmills but a solid gym setup), in unit washer and dryers, business center with tables and games for public or private use if you want to rent it for a party, big pool and jacuzzi, food trucks that visit, and great staff that run the property. Everyone in the office is super professional and available to answer questions and address concerns. They are also very good at communicating upcoming events and address concerns in the community. And the office lobby always has snacks and drinks to come grab while they are open. I'm all about quiet! Especially as much as I work and always on the go. I prioritize my sleep. So I love my 3rd floor unit. 3rd floor is always quietest. I got PTSD from my last apartment living on the 1st floor. When it comes to apartment living it really does depend on who your neighbors are, above and below and next door. I have the fortune of living next to people that are quiet and low key. I visited one of my friend's apartment last night in a different building. She has a two bedroom and I was like dang. Super nice. Made me a little envious haha. I have a one bedroom and it's perfect size for me and my dogs (2 Malitpoos) but her two bedroom was legit. Her rent is obviously more expensive than mine but still reasonable for the amount of space and how nice it is. The only drawback here is that there is not a lot of guest parking here. Very limited parking if you have guests over that stay the night. But this is a very fair priced complex with great amenities and services. They do pick up your trash from in front of your porch most nights of the week. And they also have ring cams that come with every unit free of charge! Super great for security and if you get a lot of packages delivered and any end up missing. Can always check the camera. But I haven't heard of any packages ever going missing since I've lived here. The people that live here at The Crossings are cool, chill and mind their business. I've gotten to know a good amount of my neighbors and they are the best people. We get together and have dinners at the pool, roast s'more's in front of the fireplace and talk for hours, chill in the jacuzzi, or hang in the dog park with all our dogs. Great community and place to live!

For the most part, I really like living here, but I just wish that they would be more strict. Per…read morethe lease, there should never be excessive noise and because I live so close to the pool, people are always blasting their music so loudly that I can literally feel my unit vibrating. Issues will also only get resolved, depending on who you speak to at the office. It's also sometimes really difficult to get anyone to answer the phone. Jacuzzi is constantly broken, and they swear that the pool is heated, but it is freezing even in 95° weather. People are always smoking, even though it's supposed to be a non-smoking property. I've seen residents jumping the gate instead of using their pool... Just things like that, but I feel really cheapen the overall experience of living here. The property itself is beautiful and the amenities are great, especially the huge dog park and the complimentary drinks and snacks you can get from the office during business hours. Also, their gym is the nicest gym I've ever seen at any complex. They also do fun little things like free smores kits during the winter. The best part of living here for sure is the modern property and the people that live here!

Despite paying utilities in full every month for the entire year we lived there, we were charged an additional $1,000 for utilities after move-out. The property's pet policy also doesn't match reality: we paid a premium for our pet, were told they were strict about enforcing cleanup, yet the grounds constantly had dog waste everywhere. The walls are paper thin--if you enjoy watching movies with a soundbar, forget it. You'll get complaints from neighbors. Most bedrooms face the back garages, so expect to be woken up around 4 a.m. by residents with loud exhausts and motorcycles leaving for work. The move-out process was unclear and non-transparent, which felt intentional--almost as if designed to justify keeping more of our deposit. To be fair, the front office staff were kind, professional, and helpful. My frustration is not with them but with the corporate management that runs the property. As an active duty service member, I cannot recommend this complex. Transparency, integrity, and respect for residents should come standard--and unfortunately, that wasn't our experience here.

GREAT FIRST IMPRESSION, DISAPPOINTING REALITY…read more.. I lived at Capriana for two months and want to give a fair, no-nonsense review of my experience -- the good and the bad, and why I ultimately decided to move. The Good: 1. The staff here is excellent. The ladies in the office were always friendly, professional, and did their best to accommodate me. Never once did I feel dismissed or brushed off. 2. Amenities are solid: decent gym, nice pool, dog park, (very small) food trucks, (way overpriced) Amazon package lockers (huge perk if you get deliveries often). 3. Everything is app-based -- even opening the main gate for guests or delivery drivers, which I thought was a really convenient feature. 4. The grounds are generally clean and there's always plenty of guest parking, which is rare in many complexes. 5. The Nova income verification system was fast and easy compared to other communities that required printing bank statements or tax returns. The Challenges: 1. Noise: I had the misfortune of moving into a first-floor unit below a very loud family. Their toddler was active late at night, and with wooden floors and thin soundproofing, I rarely got a full night of sleep. This is the biggest reason I left. If you choose a first-floor unit, just know that sound carries a lot. 2. Mixed tenant base: Management shared with me that a portion of units are reserved for Section 8 housing. While this may not matter to everyone, I personally would have appreciated knowing this upfront before signing, since it can affect the type of community experience you have. 3. Dog waste: Despite stations and bags provided, some residents did not clean up after their pets, which detracted from the overall cleanliness of the property. 4. Garage issues: My garage remote broke multiple times and each fix took several days. Frustrating, especially given the premium rent price. 5. Price vs. value: I was paying close to $3,000/month for a one-bedroom with little sunlight and ongoing noise problems. For me, the experience did not match the price point. To management's credit, they allowed me to break my lease early without penalty once it was clear the noise situation wasn't improving, and I appreciated that. Overall: Capriana is a beautiful property with great staff and amenities, but the thin walls, premium rent, and tenant mix made it a poor fit for me personally. Others may have a much better experience depending on their neighbors and unit choice, but I couldn't justify staying given the circumstances.

That being said, I've had my fair share of rental experiences, and customer service is single handledly the most important aspect of renting IMO. This team really delivers. Stephanie the Assistant Manager, Jonathan, and the rest of the service crew have all been genuinely friendly and easy to work with. I wish I knew everyone's names because they all deserve credit. Any time we've had a question or maintenance request, they've handled it quickly. The complex itself is well kept. The landscaping crew comes weekly, and the pools and gym are always clean and working properly. For my exercise people, the gym is small and does not have free weights, but it does have a decent selection of Life Fitness equipment so you can get a solid routine in. My favorite thing is the 1ft wading pool because my toddlers get to splash around all summer without me having a heart attack. I moved here from LA County and it feels astronomically safer in this area. I actually feel comfortable knowing my family is safe. Security rotates between this complex and the one around the corner, and the gates are locked all day Sunday and during the evenings the rest of the week. The tenants are a mix of students, single adults, and families, and everyone I have met has been respectful and quiet. We researched all the apartments in North Chino Hills and would pick this one over and over. They're spacious, in unit washer/dryer, quiet, family friendly, and an amazing team of employees. Overall, it has been a really awesome place for us to live.

Ever since management has changed this place has become less reliable and less enjoyable. Unfortunately the new manager doesn't bother walking around the building because he isn't young enough, he is extremely passive aggressive and only reliable thing he is good at is when it comes to money (rent). The laundry room hardly has any washers and dryers operating, that is why the manager will avoid showing you the walk room when they give you a walk through of the complex. The filters are filthy and filled with cat and dog fur. If someone parks in your space don't expect management to handle it he will ask you to call the police and show your lease as proof instead. Also the parking spaces are far out from your apartment complex so you will have to walk most of the time and if you have visitors they will need to park outside as a result. As of recently the crime in Chino has increased and there are homeless people that come from the 711 next door and dig in the dumpster or do drugs on the side of the building. We have had 3 break ins in our vehicle and there's been smashed windows in people's vehicles. Rent has increased $50 + another $150 in the same year. Not worth the price, skip out if you have other options.
