The salesman told me my kit was all inclusive and came ready to go. As I was checking out the owner walks in with his wife. Very nice and friendly. He informs the salesman that the kit didn't include the battery and charger. Fair enough I suppose, add another $115 to the price I was originally told for the kit. To top it off, the charger was out of stock but they assured me if I pre-paid for it I'd have it in 3-4 days just in time for Christmas. Never called, never got the charger before Christmas. The person I got the gift for opens everything up, excited to try it out ...turns out the battery they sold me doesn't fit the car I bought. Take it back and they act like they knew it wouldn't fit and they said leave it with them and they will change the connectors. Still no word on the charger or my modified battery. I called 3 days ago and left a vm stating I still needed my charger I had paid for 3 weeks ago and the battery they were going to fix for me. Still no call back. Now I call and it rings, no one answers, and no more voicemail. Guess I will have to drive out of my way to compensate for their poor customer service. I should have saved the ~$50 premium for their "service" and just bought everything online. They may be new, but you would think that would mean their customer service is exceptional to gain business. Instead they have lost mine...just have to get my battery and charger or get my money back first.

However, this is actually now my favorite square. It has shops, coffee, bars, restaurants, a great used book store, gelato. For everyday necessities, there is a bank, CVS pharmacy, UDF for gas. There's also an animal hospital, massage therapy, acupuncture, dentists, etc. My favorites of the Square include: Buona Terra, Dust Jacket, Cloud 9 Sushi, Annabel's. And I suspect the Wurst Bar will join this list when I eventually eat there.

This Michaels felt significantly bigger than the one we have at home and they have self checkout which isn't an option at the Benton Harbor location. I ended up buying stickers and 2 molds originally meant for baking, but I use them for resin projects. Having been home for a bit, both the molds work well for what I needed them for and the stickers work as expected as well. Bathrooms were clean, employees were nice, and store is well organized. Things are well prices as well as most items being on sale and having coupons through the phone app.

But it is so much more. The space itself encompasses what they are selling: otherworldly magic. Transporting you to an alternate place and providing you with an all-encompassing, sensory experience. Staff is all dressed the part, and helpful, handing out little tags with talismans in exchange for your overburdened arms, as you have collected various bits of their merch. Trinkets and delights abound throughout, and their library of books is impressive. I mean into the nitty gritty of anything remotely related to the aforementioned above. Displays are engaging, and you find yourself constantly "oohing" and "ahhhhing" and beckoning companions to check out your latest discovery. Staff is so warm and welcoming, and happy to talk you through the merits of your choices. The rescued shelving, wood work, and architectural details of the place are jaw dropping. And at check out, each thing is lovingly wrapped, and packaged like they might have done in the most upscale shop in a cosmopolitan city in Victorian times. Honestly, I can't even capture how amazing the place was, but if you are anywhere near Cincy, do not miss rising this special shop. We stopped by on a Saturday and couldn't believe our eyes with so much of the stuff they had. Not only Barbie, but also comic book-based stuff, classic TV show and movie merch, rare Hot Wheels cars, POP dolls, vintage lunch boxes, hard to find glassware, endless action figures, and so much more. Sherry, one of the owners, was super helpful and friendly, answering any questions we had about anything. With their physical store only being so big, they have to put other stuff in storage, but they also gave an online store with even more goodies for sale. My lady bought six different Barbies, a vintage case, and a Deadpool glass (for me) and only spent a little over $80. I would have gotten more, but the stuff I was eyeing was newer comic book and horror movie figures, most very big, and very pricey ($150 or more), so I'm gonna wait a couple paychecks for that. But there's one big Leatherface figure in particular that one day will be mine (oh yes, it WILL be mine). My lady and I could spend a whole day, and paycheck, geeking out over this place. They did just that, we felt so welcomed and vibed so well with them and other customers shopping. The guys were talking cards while I'm walking around snapping pictures and checking out the drink cooler. We were wrapping up and the owner mentioned, drinks are free - help yourself.
