Pulled pork
Caitlin S.

I came here with my friend and sister so we ordered a bunch of different things. I got the pulled pork, rosemary fries, and chips with queso. My friend got chicken wings, Mac and greens, and banana pudding. My sister ordered the vegan bolognese. It took about 20 minutes for my food to come out. It's all cold. Presentation bad, taste unseasoned and temperature cold. I didn't like anything I got. My friend ate one chicken wing and of scoop of both Mac and greens/ banana pudding. My sister got a text saying her food was ready and the woman at the front couldn't find her bag. She thinks someone took it and all she says is give me a little. A little turns into half an hour with no word on what's going on. She said her food was ok. Like the other review says it's just reheated food.

This time when I came in to pick up, there was someone there to greet incoming patrons and hand off their order. He was friendly and quickly gave us our bag. I was disappointed when I got home and found that two of my favorite ingredients in my salad were missing. To me, these ingredients made the salad desirable (goat cheese and candied pecans) so it was a real bummer and to make matters worse, the balsamic vinegar I received with it was not enough to cover all the greens and grains, so the salad was very dry until I added balsamic vinegar of my own to it. Luckily, my guests food was all there and made the way they requested. I am keeping my rating the same because I contacted customer service to complain about my expensive lackluster salad and the representative was friendly and actually showed empathy to my frustration. She quickly resolved my issue satisfactorily.

I love this place, it has a little bit of everything, and the food is prepared well. The space is small, with just a few chairs, not like a Chipotle, but more like a very clean, cozy hole-in-the-wall.

They have food and dessert vendors on the first floor and rooftop area on the 5th floor. There were dj's on both floors. We chilled on the rooftop area where there were tons of seating. They have a large dining area to sit and eat and drink. They had chairs and couches to chill and enjoy NYC water and Skyviews. The DJ (DJ Stretch) on the rooftop was amazing and played a lot of old school music from different genres. The venue was packed on Valentines day (2025). There was also an amazing violinist, (Judithviolinist on IG). This is definitely a place to check out and get your grub on or just sit and chill. There's tons of seats available picnic style or lounge/ sofa seating.

They have a variety of different options and all ca be preferred directly from table via QR codes. Our group ordered smash burgers, quesadillas and a Reuben. We were also able to order beers directly to us. The burgers and quesadilla and chips came out almost immediately but the Reuben took for-ev-er. To the point that all our other food was gone and we had to go check on if the order actually went through. It did...they were just sloooooow. Upside, it was tasty. This spot also has a great rooftop area with excellent views of the bridge. On nicer nights it would be a great place to hang out. If your headed over the bridge for a night, this place is worth checking out as it's also right nearby the instagram-able views!

The description of "diverse global cuisines" is extremely accurate. I was there on a Sunday; it was crowded but the lines weren't too long and we were able to find seating. They have tables for small or larger parties. One scary moment was when the police were looking for someone. I was startled when I walked out of the ladies room and they almost ran into me because they were on the hunt for someone. I hope they caught the person and I hope everyone is safe. I don't spend a lot of time in Brooklyn, so I actually had no idea that the Dekalb Market Hall was a thing until I started zooming in/out on Google Maps. This sounded like the best idea for our group of 4 - we could all get whatever we wanted to eat without having to compromise on one cuisine! Jokes on us, 3/4 of us ended up getting food at Hainan Jones. I had a grilled chicken bowl from Wiki Wiki and we also had boba from Tea Makers. Everything at Hainan Jones was great. The bowl at Wiki Wiki was really good. The boba was just fine. You really can't go wrong with Dekalb Market Hall, there are literally so many options. When we were leaving, we realized there was an entire whole section that we had not even realized was there! A plus is that there are bathrooms inside so you can use it before you leave.

If you order a variety, you'll be visiting multiple counters. The linguine with white clam sauce from Sal Anthony's was very good. Hot, garlicky, firm linguine, and good flavor. The cheese pizza from Buon Cibo was also a standout, a great crust and good flavor without being soggy or greasy. Another plus is a lot of the seating area is inside the market side, which means you'll be surrounded by drinks and desserts. The variety is impressive with beer, soda, juice, water, sparkling water, Korean, and Japanese soft drinks.
