Garlic bread
Ramya R.

I decided to get dinner from Wonder after receiving a flyer in the mail. The concept sounded interesting-you can order food from different restaurants across the country from one location. I ordered a veggie pizza from Detroit Brick Pizza Co. and tortiglioni alla vodka with garlic bread from Alanza. Unfortunately, the food was just average and didn't taste like it was from top-rated restaurants. It also didn't justify the high price for such small portions. Service is mostly ordering either online or from the kiosk inside. There were few seats to eat at the restaurant but most of the orders were take away.

Meatballs

Interesting concept and I guess the draw is that you can order dishes from a bunch of "restaurants". We thought the quality and portions were disappointing for the price. If we wanted higher quality, we'd get takeout from the actual restaurant. It felt like a little like airplane food. Would not try again.

Drunken noodles with chicken, this missed the mark by far.

After the Light the Night walk for Blood Cancer United in RTC we decided to walk to Wonder for a late dinner. I was impressed with the large menu! I ordered the Sunday Meatballs from Alanza, my wife ordered the Drunken Noodles with Chicken from Sri Pra Phai and our daughter ordered the Truffle Burger from Burger Baby. I will start with the good, my meatballs were wonderful. The Truffle Burger was good for its price. However the drunken noodles were a failure. The meatballs were tender and light, with a very good sauce and covered in ricotta and parmagiana cheeses. I would definitely come back for the meatballs! The Truffle Burger was good, there wasn't a strong truffle flavor and the sauce was a bit sour tasting. The noodles had a wrong texture for drunken noodles. The sauce had a little kick, but overall it missed the mark for Thai drunken noodles. I will be back to try more dishes, there were so many options that looked good! Did I say the menu was huge? With such big famous chef names behind the dishes there has got to be many gems on the menu, but for a big menu that means some of the dishes will be just OK

What a joke! This is the "Detroit Style" pizza I received after ordering from Detroit Pizza. Not Detroit style at all! Arrived in a box with another pizza restaurant's name on it. $23 for this garbage?! Tried to call the location. First 3 tries, a fax machine answered. Fourth time, I sat on hold for 6 minutes listening to music and then was told to leave a message. 1. Rip off 2. Terrible customer service

Beef Souvlaki & Kalamata Salad from Yasas

Interesting concept for grab-and go quality food. I just recently discovered Wonder and was pleasantly surprised. You can order online from their App in advance for pickup and delivery. This is a walk-in location where you walk to a kiosk and place your order from one of the participating restaurants. It seems like they recreate recipes from top chefs and restaurants in their kitchen in the back. My experience was quick and easy. I ordered a Beef Souvlaki & Kalamata Salad from Yasas and it was prepared within 10 minutes. They ask for your phone number so you get a text message when your order is ready. It is left for you on a shelf to pick up. If there is a staff member there they will call your order by name. There is limited indoor seating because this place is meant to be grab-and-go. You can order from different restaurant menus, and I could see this as a nice option for office catering. I would recommend and would come back again.

M's Spicy Fried Chicken Sandwich from Streetbitd

Unfortunately, my experiences with Wonder Food Hall have been consistently disappointing. The service is average at best, and the food quality leaves much to be desired. Most recently, I placed an order that was supposed to be ready for pickup around 6 PM, but I didn't receive it until 30 minutes later. It was clear that the staff was overwhelmed--there was a young person working expo who seemed completely swamped with customer inquiries. Eventually, a young lady, who was extremely helpful and pleasant, provided an update and admitted that they were struggling to keep up with the orders. This was not my first frustrating experience: the first time I ordered, my food wasn't delivered at all. The second time, I received an item that was falsely advertised on their website. And the third time, my food was burnt. I hope Wonder Food Hall can improve their service and quality, but at this point, I cannot recommend it.

Flavorless food that is microwaved. I doubt this place will last in Reston. You can get a better meal from a freezer at a grocery store.

I like stopping by before/after grocery shopping because it's an easy place to grab something warm and satisfying without spending too much. The galbitang…read more(oxtail bone broth with radish and glass noodles) is one of our favorites--comforting and flavorful without being bland or overly salty. It's the kind of dish that soothes you but still has enough depth to avoid tasting like sick people food. They're quite generous with the oxtail--four large pieces, but they can be a little difficult to eat sometimes. The tofu stew was just okay. It came with clams, shrimp, and mussels, but the flavor didn't quite come together for me--probably wouldn't order it again. The aguijjim (spicy braised monkfish) was exciting to try, and the fish itself was tender and served in large chunks. There were 4-5 shell-on shrimp and a mountain of bean sprouts, but the flavor was just average--nothing particularly memorable. Food usually comes out about 10 minutes after ordering. Banchan is simple but satisfying, with kimchi and two types of pickled daikon. Overall, a good spot for quick and tasty Korean food if you're already getting groceries.

I think it's great that they have local businesses and not chain restaurants here, it allows you to make an impact by supporting those small businesses. The setup is really convenient with multiple vendors and a full bar, so it's great for groups, casual outings, or even a quick solo stop. Here's what I tried: * From Mex Taqueria, I had the steak tacos--really flavorful and cooked well. They also have a great Taco Tuesday deal ($1.95 tacos with chicken, chorizo, or steak), which I'll definitely be back for. * Momo Hub had chicken dumplings that were juicy and packed with flavor. * The jerk nachos from The Champs Kitchen were one of my favorites--very well seasoned. * Claude Have Mercy was a standout. I tried the salmon tenders, shrimp sliders, and rum cake, and everything was really good. For drinks, I stopped by C3 Bar and tried the Watermelon Candyrita, Claude's Crush, and an espresso martini (The Commuter). All were well-made and complemented the food nicely. Another plus: select bar bites are $9.99 and cocktails are $10 when paired, which makes this a great option for a budget-friendly outing. Overall, I'd definitely recommend checking this place out if you're in the area. It's a fun, laid-back spot with a variety of food options, and I can see it becoming a regular go-to.

Food taste: In other weeks, I've had to add my own sauces. I always order the deluxe portion for 20% more food because the regular size is too small for me. I cook and add more veggies because most prepared foods don't give me enough. The only thing I needed to add to these last meals were a pinch of salt, but this makes sense because the food is made for all types of people. Delivery: I love the fact that the food is delivered to my doorstep. They deliver on Sundays and seem to be providing service every other week now. There are 4 options available but you can adjust how many servings you want of each meal. Service: No issues and I get a prompt response each time.
