Best food court in NYC !!!…read more I have probably ate at 1,000 different stalls inside the New World Mall food court over the years, so let me be its 1,000th review. Seems fitting. Considering I just did another mini food tour with my friends today, this place has been my go to for a quick bite in Flushing since its inception. Not a whole lot of the stalls have lasted over the years, but a handful remain, while the new entrants keeps the food court interesting. Below is the current list of vendors as of May 2025. I also added my favorite item from some of my usual spots. #2 Chongqing Zaier (Yunnan) #3 Ke Lai Qin (Hunan) - chili fish head #4 Joe's Steam Rice Roll (Cantonese) - shrimp roll #5 Tarim Uyghur Cuisine (Uyghur) - lamb skewer #6 A Zhong (Taiwanese) - thread noodle soup #7 Kung Fu Tea (Boba Shop) #8 Grilled Squid (Korean, Chinese) #9 Xiao Luo Luo (Guanxie) #10 Xiang Ba Ye (Hunan) #11 Piaoxiang Yuan (Dongbei) - potato noodles #12 Tiger Sugar (Boba Shop) - black sugar milk tea #13 Gong Cha (Boba Shop) #14 Lanzhou Handmade Noodle (Lanzhou) #16 Laoma Ma La Tang (Szechuan) - mixed dry pot #18 Eight Beautitudes (Korean) #19 Chong Qung Xiao Mian (Szechuan) - spicy noodle #20 Yozi Duck Vermicelli Soup (Shanghai) - duck soup #21 Nai Brother (Szechuan) - sauerkraut fish #22 Mr. Pang (Taiwanese) #23 Ramen & Udon (Japanese) #24 Tian Fu (Szechuan) #25 Chick Rocks (Chicken Shop) #26 Mojoilla Fresh (Taiwan) - egg waffle #27 Royal Queen (Cantonese) - roast meats #28 Xi'an Cuisines (Xian) - lamb burger #29 Liu Liu Sheng Jian (Shanghai) - soup dumplings #30 C/K Dumplings & Noodles (Dongbei) - dumplings #31a O'Sun Teriyaki (Japanese) #31b Wang's Beef Offal House (Cantonese) - beef I do wish this place was cleaner, smells better and have free wifi service. However, I'm here for the great food options and can overlook quite a bit. Therefore, though there are shortcomings, I block it all out and just enjoy what they do offer, which is large variety of delicious cuisines from around China/Asia.

It's always a home run for me, and it's hard to find some of these foods outside of chinatown areas Staff and vendors here are so sweet and friendly. Service is relatively fast too. Food court has a lot of seating. You'll likely be able to find a seat if you have a smaller party, may have to squeeze in with another table. Restrooms available as well

THE GOOD ----------------…read more+ Plenty of Asian food vendors to choose from! 10ish from my count, including Tous de Jous and Gong Cha at the entrance. ++++ Food vendors include BBQ Chicken, Don Don Curry, Sang's Tofu and K-BBQ, Jeong's Noodle, Wok Bar, Gold Miss and many more. + All of the food from the vendors are reasonably priced at $10-$25, with the more expensive entrees being EASILY shareable amongst 2-3 people. Some have Grab and Go sections too. + They have a big retail area to the side that sells stationary, accessories and lifestyle products - beware of letting your young kids into it because you might leave a few bucks light in your wallet! + PLENTY of tables and seats inside, even when crowded. + Right across from the hugeee H Mart food market. THE NOT SO GOOD ---------------------------- - Nada. MIXED THOUGHTS --------------------------- = Nada. RANDOM OBSERVATIONS -------------------------------------- = Recently dined in on a Friday evening from 6-7:30 PM and it was prettty busy inside, but still had a lot of open tables. The mall DOES get crazy crowded on Saturday evenings, so can imagine the same happening in the H Mart Food Hall as well during peak lunch and dinner dining times.

I will warn that the batter is a bit thick so I heavily advise you eat over the container so it doesn't drop off the stick and onto the floor. The hotdog or sausage they used tasted better than the cheese too (in my opinion). And I love that right outside there is a plethora of sauces you can drizzle on top! Ordering was done via a self service kiosk too and then you took a little buzzer that went off when your order was ready which was cute.

It's clean, modern, and way more spacious than a lot of other food courts in the area, which makes it easy to hang out without feeling cramped. What I like most is the variety. You can get everything from hand pulled noodles and spicy Sichuan dishes to Korean street food and fun dessert spots all in one place. It's perfect for groups because everyone can order from different vendors and still sit together. Prices are pretty reasonable, and portions are solid. It does get busy, especially on weekends, so finding a table can take a little patience. And like any food hall, some stalls are better than others but overall, the quality is consistently good. If you're in Flushing and want options without having to walk all over the neighborhood, Tangram Food Hall is definitely worth checking out.
