Wonder has opened another location on Route 114 on the Lawrence / North Andover line. Wonder is a food hall kitchen chain owned by GrubHub featuring multiple restaurant menu concepts and cuisines. They have rapidly opened up many locations around the Northeast and still expanding. This Wonder location, physically in Lawrence, had a grand opening on May 7, 2026. Other recent Wonder openings nearby have been in Newton, Belmont, Medford, Natick, Framingham, Acton, Watertown, Canton, and Burlington with several more in the Greater Boston area to be opened.
I've enjoyed ordering from Wonder, as more convenient locations in Greater Boston keep opening up and creeping closer to my home. It was only 2 years ago when there were only a handful of locations including in NJ, NY and RI and only had 8 concepts then.
Food concepts offered at Wonder North Andover include Burger Baby, Tejas Barbecue, SriPraPhai, Fred's Meat & Bread, Limesalt, El Diez Mexican Bowls, Wing Trip, Alanza Pizza, Detroit Brick Pizza Co, Di Fara Pizza, Yasas by Michael Symon, Streetbird by Marcus Samuelsson, The Mainstay by Marc Murphy, Royal Greens, Pop Salad, Walnut Lane by Jonathan Waxman, Maydan, Bobby Flay Steak, Hanu Poke, Kin House, Bellies, and Room For Dessert. You can order from multiple Wonder restaurants in the same order.
This Wonder is located at the corner of Route 114 & Waverly Rd, next to Lapels Dry Cleaning and Brookline Bank. This space was formerly the Vitamin Shoppe. The customer area has a staffed check-in stand, pickup shelves and a seating area to enjoy your food & drink and touchscreen ordering kiosks. You can also order online through Wonder and schedule a pickup time.
On the way home from the Northshore, I decided to order some takeout food at Wonder North Andover. The wait time was quoted for 14-24 minutes after ordering, which was all set to go on the pickup shelf in 15 minutes.
El Diez Mexican Bowls: Steak Fajita Bowl Combo ($10.00 plus tax) Cut pieces of well done grilled steak, queso blanco, fajita veggies, tomatillo salsa, shredded cheese, white rice, side cup of lime chipotle vinaigrette dressing, bag of crunchy tortilla chips and a sparkling bottled water. Though the steak fajita bowl did not look like the pictures on the website (separated ingredients), all of the ingredients were layered as typical at most fast casual Mexican places with the soft white rice as the base, layered & mixed with cheese, veggies, sauces, and topped with pieces of steak. The fajita bowl was a modest portion at the value price, but tasted pretty good, slightly cheaper than Chipotle adding in the included combo chips and drink.
Overall, as mentioned before, this food hall concept seems to be catching on with easy online ordering, streamlined pick-up at the Wonder location, and tasty food. read more
