    boneless wings - hot honey

It was a cold nite in new york and i wanted something quick and easy . So Wonder it was. I received a booklet in the mail with all the featured food vendors and menus and decided it was worth a try. I was in the mood for wings so i tried Wing Trip, they had a variety of meals and flavors and the best part was that they had original fries or Togarashi Fries which had chile flakes, sesame seeds, seaweed, pepper, and other spices, it definitely gave the fries an extra boost of flavor and so good with the ranch! I put my order in via the app and my only disappointment was the time was pushed back almost 20 minutes due to this location being short staffed. It was a shame because there were so many people waiting and they only had 2 people working the kitchen and one handling the orders. Also i did want to mention this location has a few seats to eat but mainly this is a delivery/pickup place. Needless to say i got my order but my food was cold so i definitely had to reheat it , but it was flavorful and the quality was great for the price. I definitely will be back to try the other food vendors in there and hopefully you stop by too!

I've been here a bunch of times, by myself and with friends. Food is consistently good. Clean restrooms. Free water. Great salads!

According to an Instagram post from Hainan Jones this summer, there's was 6-month "pardon." I enjoyed the hokkien mee at Prawnaholic Collections. Some vendors are gone forever but Mr. Fried Rice and Padi D'NYC appear to be open. (I was there at night, current operating hours aren't posted but overall the market closes earlier than before).

RIP Urban Hawker…read more Though if you wanted to recreate that part in movie plots where the protagonist we all thought had veered into untimely demise surprises everyone by miraculously making a comeback--I'm down for that too! Though on a serious note--kinda bummed bc I wanted to make one last visit before they closed July 17, though unfortunately I didn't make it back to town in time :( What a loss of a cultural connection point for the city! Food is a gateway to experiencing and understanding other cultures and this location was front and center in midtown, blocks from Times Square. In a sea of other cuisines, this part of Southeast Asia didn't/doesn't have much representation in general in Manhattan, and even less so now. Scouring articles and comments online I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they're able to find a different space in the near future! Was it the best food court? I'll admit this was easily debatable for many reasons. But each stall had their own standouts. Tradsiyon was a later addition though had really solid braised meat and veggie bowls; Hainan Jones stepped into a midtown scene several years ago with no other similar Hainanese chicken spots in midtown (a few others thankfully are around today); Kopifellas brought uniquely Singaporean/Malasian tea and coffee options; I still remember the first bite of Prawnaholic's signature shrimp and rib noodles tasting that savory goodness for the first time; and most of all I will dearly miss this location of Lady Wong, where I rarely walked away empty handed. Thank you for the memories (and think about that movie plot twist I mentioned above)!

For dessert they have my favorite asian inspired soft serve spot: Soft Swerve. Their mango sticky rice flavor is a must try! Helpful notes: Parking is difficult in this area, subway (E, F, R) is encouraged. No outside food allowed indoors!

I usually find seats and it's not too crowded. The vendors have changed a few times, but they have new ones too. A recently added one, which was an added stall is Ziyan Chicken. It's known for its braised cold meats and appetizers. They have meal sets with rice and soda or items by the pound per serving. This is a great Sichuan food option at the food hall. Mostly spicy food. The other vendor I go to is Soft Swerve ice cream and frozen yogurt. I like their lychee flavored ice cream. The vanilla frozen yogurt is pretty good too. You can ask to taste the flavors before choosing one. A great sweet treat, especially when it's so hot out. This is a good place to go for different food options. It's right by subways and busses. Very convenient.
