He is unaware of his surroundings and usually requires to be called over to receive any attention. But the worst part is that he never lets us split the check. He claims that because me and my group only ordered "one entree" that it is not possible to split the check. But with other waiters, we have been able to split the check. So if you attend the restaurant, be prepared for great food but beware of splitting the check if the tall man is your waiter.

You can also access this from the side of the building down a flight of stairs. This one was busier than other locations I went to, though this was also on a weekend which might explain it. It's standard as far as what Barnes & Noble generally carries. What they don't have, they can always order for you. If you're looking for blu ray/DVDs, you won't find any here at all - which is a bit disappointing. They do have vinyl though. Only had interaction with one employee and he was friendly. Most others I saw were with customers. Located in the Vernon Hills Shopping Center mall, there is plenty of parking. It's a generally busy shopping area, so use caution in the lot. A good location, but I don't see myself coming back here unless I'm in the immediate area and need to.

What a treasure trove of incredible books, all at great prices!…read more Friends of Library groups are such an incredible force and I'm so inspired by the Friends of Webster Library for running this wonderful store, the proceeds of which benefit the Webster library and other east side branches. I stopped by one afternoon and could have spent all afternoon browsing! I was lucky enough to snag a few copies of Demon Slayer, a few Julia Turshen cookbooks, a Christmas movie, and more! The prices were great - I don't think anything was more than a few dollars. The staff was really friendly and pointed out a second Julia Turshen book when they saw one in my pile. I'll definitely be visiting the Book Cellar again! To enter the Book Cellar, enter the library branch and walk straight ahead. You'll see a sign that will guide you down the stairs to the book shop. They both called and texted to let me know it had arrived. The service is extremely helpful. Nestled among some charming boutiques, restaurants, and specialty shops, Bronx River Books offers a good range of classic, contemporary, and local authors. It is well-stocked besides neatly organized and stacked. It has easily become one of my favorites stops when in town.

I discovered many new and exciting authors there like Yaa Gyasi "Homegoing" and Imbolo Mbue "Behold the Dreamers" and Ngugi Wa Thiong'o "Wizard of the Crow". As well as my all time favorites Gary Shteyngart, Zadie Smith, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, Viet Thahn Nguyen. Hope this place stays around so we have to remain patrons to help them!!!

It's located at 116 East 59th Street, between Park and Lexington Avenues in Midtown Manhattan. The store occupies an entire six-story townhouse with various sales floors specializing in first editions, Americana, leather bindings, antique maps and prints, and autographs. The store is also noted for a wide selection of bargain books I found them out front. Argosy also has its own framing and shipping departments and owns a large warehouse in Brooklyn. For a book lover this is paradise. I find it's a great place to buy gifts too. I'm highly recommending!
