My husband was recently diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and as he had seen one of the physicians here for a non-cancer reason he wanted to come back to an office he felt familiar with. This practice has several offices located around the area. We have only visited the one on Shircliff and the one in Fleming Island. His doctor is at the Shircliff location so this is where we've been most of the time. All I can say is this place is amazing. The staff are so friendly and caring. They take the time to answer any and all of your questions and concerns. All of them from the front desk to the phlebotomists to the RN's up to the ARNPs and doctors are fantastic. I felt immediately that they had only my husband's best interest in mind when setting up his care plan. We see Dr. Badrinath who is so calm and straightforward. His presence is very calming. Our first visit was longer than one hour and I never felt like he was rushing us. One thing I like is that with every visit they hand you your results, so we have a folder with all of his labs, scans, etc. available to us at home if needed. I don't wish anyone to have to visit this office, but if you needed to, this is a great practice and my husband trusts them 100%.

This is the worst oncology practice I have ever been to. After meeting Dr. Sai for my initial…read moreconsult after moving to the area, I never saw her again. I was then seen by PAs. The latest one did not listen to a word I said and it was clear she did not review my chart before meeting me for the first time. This office schedules telehealth visits without patient authorization and then bills you multiple times to convey lab results that are connected with your paid office encounter--this is an illegal practice. One time they made a telehealth appointment for me, and I hopped on the call and waited 30 minutes and the PA never showed. Then they had the audacity to bill me for the visit, and I had to fight the bill for weeks and prove it never occurred. This office does not respond to your online portal messages, and getting the right person on the phone who actually knows what they are talking about is near impossible. Only when you threaten to contact the health board or authorities can you get people on the phone. Dealing with cancer/history of cancer is hard enough. Why do they have to make it even harder? STAY AWAY.

Getting the words "you have cancer" is very difficult but having a team that encourages you and is…read moreon top of the latest treatments takes the stress to a lower level. The location is convenient the radiology is available in same building and they accept most insurance including Medicare and Medicaid. The doctors are very personable and treat patients and families with respect and empathy. The treatment area is clean and comfortable and the lab is on site so results are quick. I've been a patient since 2015 and most of the staff still works here. Which speaks numbers in the medical field.

It had ample parking and I found a spot quickly before my appointment. Good news, parking is free. When I went through the lobby someone greeted me and I was able to go to the 7th floor to check in. Check-in was easy, a gentleman checked me in, gave me a clipboard, to fill out some paperwork. I will say while the appointment isn't fun, at least you have a beautiful view of downtown and the river.

Called about scheduling a follow up appointment with a surgeon. Had emergency surgery 2 weeks ago…read morewhile in NJ and not feeling well. Was told by the scheduling staff that their manager told them I could not be seen there since I didn't have the surgery there. I will leave the name of the representative out of this review and hope they understand that that a life is more precious than money. The quality of care is a 0 in my eyes. If you would like to be surrounded by trash on the floor, dirty bathrooms and unsanitary practices…read morethen this is your place! My 75 year old mother has had Ovarian cancer since 2019, we started treatment at MD Anderson downtown Jacksonville and never had any problems. We decided to switch to Cancer Specialist of North Florida at Baptist South at the end of 2023 because it is so much closer to my mother's house. I regret we ever made that decision. The treatment room is run down and seems to be a decades behind MD Anderson...there is so much trash on the floor I am appalled. MD Anderson is sterile as can be, everything is done with such standards. Cancer Specialist of North Florida is polar opposite. So far today, I have also seen two patients sit in chairs to receive treatment that were NOT cleaned after the previous patient. That would NEVER happen at MD Anderson. I am attaching photos of the trash everywhere, would you feel comfortable getting treatment here? Would you feel confident in their ability?!? Update: After I filed a complaint with the Health Department it seems everything has been cleaned up.

Occasionally the schedule is overloaded and the wait can be frustratingly long. The actual Carr and treatment, everything from initial educational appointments to chemotherapy infusions, and now follow ups and check ups since chemo and surgery etc. have been great. They have even helped with financial and insurance issues. I've always felt they want me to be honest about how I'm feeling and with any questions I may have. I've always felt taken seriously with any concerns.
