The receptionist at Dr Tuckers office, at around 10:00 today was extremely rude. She told me that they could not make the appointment without additional information from my primary doctor. I asked her if she had followed up with the primary doctor because it is now the end of July, and this appointment was said to be an immediate need and had been requested from the doctor in March. So then she offers me a November appointment! This is for an emergency referral that was given to her in March for a possible serious condition. She told me the earliest she could get me in was November 19th. She told me that I should have known that I needed to give her office those records, even though no one contacted me for them. I let her know that nobody alerted me to needing to supply anything, and that I was not included in any doctor to doctor request for more information. But I was simply the patient, waiting for the appointment to be set. Then she promptly hung up on me today! I would never go to a physician who hires staff that are so rude and uncaring, that they think the patient is aware of and can affect the doctor to doctor communication? Not to mention never following up even 4 months later for an appointment that still had not been set? No thank you.

I also had a more major procedure done (root canal and crown due to a mistake from a previous dentist) and that was as pleasant as could be. They are professional and do great work and I have had no issues with the crown since they put it in nearly two years ago.

Also, beware of the topical fluoride for adults....it is a profit center. I have never been asked if I wanted this additional treatment. I researched on line. Make up your own mind. Some research says it is great for adults, other research says it is all about the money. Dental Doctors has changed a lot in the past few years. Maybe it is time to make a switch. It appears their business is not nearly as busy as it once was. These are my views and I am not a doctor or dentist. As always, buyer beware.

It was scared the heck out of me but yet Dr Northrop was honest and told me what the risk was for and possible outcomes. I actually appreciate that. I'm a nurse and of course we are often critical of doctors. It took a visitor to until I was willing to trust. But at that point his bedside manner was good and he was extremely honest with me for the positive and the negative. I needed to hear that and also to know what steps to take to follow his direction to the best outcome I'm so glad I did that because now I see that my x-rays are regaining bone. I had a very complicated surgery Dr Northrop and actually three surgeries in total over the last 8 months. I am very fortunate to not have to have an amputation which was a possible outcome. My bone is regenerating, I'm on the final stage of healing. Dr Northrup would be my next go to if I ever, God forbid, needed help again. I will recommend him to anyone that has an absolute problem. We get surprised in life sometimes and people we don't expect to meet. I'm very glad I did and he was recommended to me. Thank you to Dr Northrup! And his staff also, a very pleasant office to visit and very efficient. I don't think I've ever waited more than 5 minutes if that. So relieved after all these months and glad that I had the care I did with Dr Northrup and his staff

Lisa at the front desk was unexpectedly rude and unwelcoming, which was surprising and off-putting--especially as a potential new patient. There are plenty of physical therapy clinics in the area, and first impressions make a big difference. The front desk staff plays a huge role in shaping the patient experience, and unfortunately, this interaction made me reconsider coming here at all. I hope this is addressed so others aren't made to feel the same way.
