The couple of people who came to HarborChase were nice but not professional. I am 88 years old and cannot bend over. The gentleman who came to cut my nails moved my furniture and walker (that was OK). He was here 30 seconds - I have only 7 nails to cut- and he cut 6 of them. The young lady with him was only interested in getting my insurance information. After the cutting, he left. And I do mean left. The nail cuttings were on the floor (which I had to clean up); the furniture and walker were not put back. He did not file the nails that he cut. It was a cut-and-run operation. I was so busy trying to help the lady with the insurance that I did not discuss with the young man what I needed. I have been going to foot doctors for years, and this is the worst I have ever had. I would call it "a Medicare rip". And that is a shame because I am an old person who needs help. I was so looking forward to professionals coming to take care of me. My feet take about 5 minutes or less to do - 7 nails, cut, filed, clean up, and leave. I am sorry for having to write this. I truly hate saying things that might hurt other people. read more

This injury to my ankle has taken 8 months to get resolved. It would not be resolved without Dr Northrop and also to doctor before him. It was in danger of amputation! It was scared the heck out of me but yet Dr Northrop was honest and told me what the risk was for and possible outcomes. I actually appreciate that. I'm a nurse and of course we are often critical of doctors. It took a visitor to until I was willing to trust. But at that point his bedside manner was good and he was extremely honest with me for the positive and the negative. I needed to hear that and also to know what steps to take to follow his direction to the best outcome I'm so glad I did that because now I see that my x-rays are regaining bone. I had a very complicated surgery Dr Northrop and actually three surgeries in total over the last 8 months. I am very fortunate to not have to have an amputation which was a possible outcome. My bone is regenerating, I'm on the final stage of healing. Dr Northrup would be my next go to if I ever, God forbid, needed help again. I will recommend him to anyone that has an absolute problem. We get surprised in life sometimes and people we don't expect to meet. I'm very glad I did and he was recommended to me. Thank you to Dr Northrup! They care about what happened and how you're doing and the quality was happy which made me feel good

I saw Dr. Northrup twice, the first visit being $150. and the second being $100. Both times I was given a cortisone shot for plantar fasciitis. I paid in full both times with a credit card. A week after my second visit, I received a notice that I still owe them $200. I called to ask why, and they told me that they forgot to tell me, both times, that the shots were $100 each. This is very unprofessional, and I do not recommend Dr. Northrup. Go to another podiatrist. read more

I've been having foot pain (plantar fasciitis) off and on for 7 years. These past 6 months it hasn't let up. He listened to my concerns and gave me different options. He spent a long time answering my questions. I felt like he understood what I've been dealing with and gave me a plan. He's staff was super helpful since my sitter cancelled at the last minute. I've been a Crossfitter for 7 years and appreciated that he is also. That's why I chose his office. I saw it in his bio. I've been to two other Podiatrists and I felt like they didn't understand what I was trying to get back into. Like most places in Saint Augustine, if you are not retired you may not be able to get an appointment. They have hours that make it difficult for us with jobs and good insurance to get in. read more
