We got Atroguard floors. We love the natural look and feel of wood with the improved quality, and durability. The owner, actually guided our difficult project and personally installed the flooring around our incredibly irregular stone fireplace. It was definitely a custom project! They were gracious enough to let us pick and choose what parts of the project we needed the most help with. I therefore saved more and did a lot of the demo myself, since I enjoy it. They did a fantastic job with the removal of some extra sub-floor that was glued and screwed down and they also took care of all of the install. Ordered an entire cabin worth of roofing and siding from SBS Wasilla. Sat down with the siding guys…read moreand have all the measurements, doors, windows, etc... They drew up the order, I paid whatever they asked, and it was derived later that month. When it was time to install (it was all crated up till now) I noticed that one of the main trims "c channel" had been mis-calculated and i did not have enough. There was also another trim that was missing (a transition flashing from a lower panel to an upper panel) another trim that was the wrong trim color and wrong dimensions to go anywhere, and no one could tell me where it was supposed to be used. I returned that last trim to the store and left it with them, even though i paid for it. After calling and meeting with the siding guys again, and learning that they could not find my order, didn't know what trim they ordered for me or why, and did not seem to have a filling system for past orders, i eventually talked to the store manager. After the manager got involved, he did have a local metal company make the trim pieces to try and make it right. However, the green trim is not the exact shade as the original, because it wasn't the same manufacturer, and it should not take the main manager getting involved to fix an order issue. I was also never refunded for the trim that i never ordered (but paid for), or ever given so much as a free pen for all the time, and grief included with me trying to fix their mistake. I like supporting our more local businesses (even though a large conglomerate owns them now), but I am done with atleast this SBS for a long time.
