All fresh from his Spa day at Wolfgang's
Victoria C.

We had a great experience with Wolfgang's. We were only in town for a quick visit and needed to find pup care for our 15lb chi-mix since we were staying in a hotel and wanted to see some St. Louis sites. We were able to get in around 5:30pm for a quick temperament test which our "old man" passed. The next day we dropped our pup off around 10am for doggy daycare and his "bath&brush" spa day. We picked him up at 6:30pm (Wolfgang's closes at 7pm) and this later time allowed us to get an evening meal in without having to look for a patio. The staff we encountered were all very friendly. We would definitely come back if local or visited town again.

Sheepadoodle post grooming

I have a very large very shy sheepadoodle and Wolfgang's is the only place I trust so handle her grooming! The 4 week deal is awesome and takes care of all of her needs!

I've been happy with their services, the place is very clean compared to other places I had seen.

This is my toy poodle, Lily, a few days after she was groomed. I love the cut!!

I cannot say enough good things about Wolfgang's Pet Stop. The staff here are incredible and actually care about your pups and take excellent care of them. My girls get so excited to go here and love every staff member. I have 2 toy poodles and book Rachel to groom them. I would advise booking in advance because they are busy and they do book up. I am so happy with how they treat and handle my dogs and I will never go anywhere else, they have never looked so good with the former groomer I used. Rachel does an outstanding job and I cannot recommend her enough. The prices are very reasonable and comparable to other grooming shops and are actually exactly the same as the former groomer I used (who was based in Ellisville about 5 minutes from my house) and I drive 25 minutes to Wolfgang's but it is absolutely worth the drive. The only downside is that sometimes it can be hard to find street parking but it's not that big of a deal and not their fault for that. I have booked several appointments for the following months and I like that they allow me to do that. My former groomer would only let me book 2-3 appointments in advance at a time but Wolfgang's is very organized and their staff are incredibly professional and friendly. Rachel took the time to speak with me personally when I picked up my pups last time because she wanted to show me the correct brush I should be using on my pups (the brush my former groomer told me to get wasn't getting all of the matts out of their fur and she showed me what she uses - I really appreciated her suggestion and that she cared for my dogs to show me). The first time my pups got groomed here I was speechless with how happy I was with how they were cut and styled and how great they smelled. I love the products they use and they smell amazing. Their fur had never been so soft and the style and cut was PERFECT and exactly what I wanted. Rachel is very knowledgeable and an expert in her craft. I will always go to Wolfgang's from now on.

Bernedoodle with a perfect trim from Rachel!

Wolfgang's is an amazing grooming salon. From the initial phone contact with Beth to meeting Paul at reception and eventually Rachel, our groomer. All were very helpful, attentive, asked a lot of questions to assure our pup would be groomed the way we liked. Rachel's #1 concern was making sure our boy was comfortable and wanted him to have a positive grooming experience. She was thoughtful, kind, and spoke gently to our pup that has high anxiety at the groomers. 3 hours later he came out looking like a superstar! Truly impeccable grooming style and wonderful customer service. We will absolutely be using Wolfgang's for both our doodles in the future!

wolf is a great place to get your dog groomed. I am really happy with the results of Mariya's grooming today. Ziggy did well and my concerns were addressed and she looks great and her experience went very well. Thank you Paul and thanks to all your staff.

All clean!

My dogs love Wolfgang's pet shop! I have taken them here a few times for grooming and when I went to pick them up today they didn't want to leave. Both were pretty stinky when we got there and they both came out smelling amazing and clean! The groomer said they both did great while there! I have seen a few posts say they are overpriced, but I feel the prices are comparable to the other local places around here! We will def be back!

I truly Love how Rachel and the entire team treats Blue like he is their own dog, the grooming turns out so great like he is a show dog!

How did I get to know Daryn? I was away in Rome. Another dog sitter was staying with the…read morepupadoodles. I started to worry when the communications with that sitter became a little sparse. As it turned out, my two canine hooligans had pulled my original sitter to the ground and put her out of commission. I was mortified. Fortunately for me, she was very forgiving and even more fortunate was that she called Daryn into service. Initially, I was a little concerned about having someone who I had not met watch the dynamic duo. So I sent in a trusted canine advisor to check out the situation. She appraised the situation and assured me that the hounds were in very capable hands. When I got home the pups were like 'meh'. Which, as a doggie daddy was a *little* disappointing, but more importantly it told me that my Weimies were very well taken care of. This has been my experience every time that I have had Daryn take care of my two fur babies - easy peasy.

So I just want to say she is the most compassionate and caring person. If you're concerned about who's going to take care of your pet while you're out of town look no further. Always very professional, and courteous. Plus my animals just love her! It gives me such peace of mind when I go out of town, to know that my animals are going to be well taken care of and loved while I am away. She takes pictures of them every day at the conclusion of her walks or feedings.. and sends them to me b/c she knows that I am very anxious about being away from them. I just can't speak highly enough about her..anyway thanks so Daryn. You're like a part of our little family now.

She cried and scratched up the door pretty bad when we just went downstairs to do some laundry. Well long story short.....I needed to get back home (Hawaii) but I know my son and his new best friend, Daisy, would need some help. Of course, I look on Yelp. I see only 5 star reviews for Extended Arms. So, I called and spoke to Fern for about 30 mins. I was giving her the situation that we were in and she was giving us advice. I asked her if she could come over and speak to my son and show him some of her "tricks or hints" that could help Daisy with her anxiety. She was more than willing to help us. My son was very impressed on how thorough Fern was and how much time she spent with him and Daisy. Fern is very honest and open lady. She's been helping and taking care of fur babies for many years and she truly loves it....it really shows! Thanks again, Fern.

Normally when I leave for the weekend I come home to shredded toilet paper, things knocked over, and just general destruction... But with the love and attention from Fern and Carolyn I came home to no destruction and two very happy kitties! Fern sent me pictures and videos of my fur babies while I was away which was awesome. As well, she was very flexible with my schedule and even coordinated a key swap with my sister instead of me due to my schedule. I have never used a pet sitter before and I am so happy that I found Fern because my first experience with pet sitting was fabulous. I will definitely be using her services anytime I go out of town.

Isabella has been going to TWB Dog Grove for almost a year now and she loves going there so much…read morethat she dances and squeaks in her car seat when we get close to the building. She may be only four pounds but she makes sure that I get out of the car as fast as I can so she can get to playing with her human and puppy friends. She eagerly runs down the length of the counter and launches herself into the arms of her favorite staff members! Bella enjoys daycare 4-5 days a week and she boards at least a few times a month when I travel. It's also nice not to have to take her to a separate groomer as she has her nails done, teeth brushed and ears cleaned. It makes me so happy that she loves going there and that she loves all of the great staff that takes care of her and spoils her. I look forward to seeing her happy little face in the pictures on Facebook.

Disappointed After More Than a Year -- The Watering Bowl Has Lost Our Business…read more After more than a year of trusting The Watering Bowl with our dog for weekly daycare and multiple boarding stays, we have made the decision to take our business elsewhere. We were always pleased with the care, playtime, and overnight staffing. Unfortunately, recent changes under new ownership, combined with a serious lack of communication and transparency, have cost them our business. First, the overnight staffing change. In September, while reviewing an upcoming boarding reservation, we discovered there would no longer be staff on-site during certain overnight hours. This significant change was only disclosed in the reservation email. No advance notice, no direct communication, and nothing we could find on their website or Facebook pages. We immediately canceled our reservation. Then came the daycare changes. A couple of weeks later, while dropping off our dog for daycare, I noticed a sign outlining new playtime and rest schedules. After asking questions, we learned dogs were now being crated during these hours: * 7:00-9:00 a.m. * 12:00-2:00 p.m. * 5:00-7:00 p.m. That's potentially SIX HOURS of crating during a 12-hour daycare day! We do not crate our dog at home, and when boarding, we specifically pay for a suite. This is NOT the daycare experience we signed up for or believed we were paying for. Again, we received no advance communication. Staff claimed an email had been sent, but we never received one. We also could not find these changes disclosed on their website or Facebook pages. When my husband picked up our dog, staff told him the business had been purchased and new management was cutting costs. I understand businesses need to manage expenses, but cost-cutting should never come at the expense of transparency, customer trust, or the quality of care customers expect. These are not minor policy adjustments. Overnight supervision and the amount of time dogs spend confined are major factors when choosing a pet care provider. The Watering Bowl, you've lost a loyal, weekly customer. Not simply because you changed your business model, but because of the way you handled it. I'm sharing this so other pet owners can make informed decisions. Before booking, ask about overnight staffing, actual playtime, and how many hours your dog will spend in a crate. Pet owners deserve transparency, not surprises after they've entrusted you with their pets. Trust takes time to earn and very little time to lose. Unfortunately, ours has been lost.
