The first one has wavy hair so it always turns out good and seems easier but the second has more poodle hair and gets mats very easy. Most groomers will basically just buzz him. We were really impressed with the time and care they spent on him. He turned out great for how shaggy and matted he was. Great job! Staff was friendly, and if it's your first time coming in, they give you a run-down on how everything works. They provide everything that you need (shampoo, conditioner, soap scrub brush, drying towel, slicker brushes, deshedding comb, finishing spray, aprons and high velocity dryers). I was able to bathe my fur baby Milo, and got him looking like he is fresh from the groomers. Staff will come and disinfect the tubs and drying stations and put clean items out for the next customer.For $21, this is definitely a deal. I am definitely coming back to use the self-service wash!

In a panic, we found Country Acres, who was able to take him last minute. They are incredible kind and patient, despite us getting every piece of information wrong. We knew his pup was in good hands, because all of the handlers we met were so nice and understanding, and at pick up explained he had actually ran out of food in the morning and they supplemented. She will send you text updates of how things went and sometimes with pictures too. She will also turn on the porch light at night and pick up mails for you, which are great additional services.
