I came into this place prepared to drop my car off and ended up sitting there 2 hours when they had told me on the phone that they would give me a shuttle ride home. I was then angrily and rudely told that shuttle rides are just a courtesy and they don't have to operate on a schedule for me. I think when you spend 47,000 on a car you don't need any lectures about courtesy. Not to mention the only reason I'm in the shop today is because the tire was leaking on the back side when they sold it to me along with an SRS airbag warning light that came on 2 days after I drove it off the lot Toyota's are good cars but ever since they started making them in the United States the quality has gone far down. Today's experience was less than desirable. Especially Considering I was walking in with intention of purchasing in cash, a vehicle from your business. The vehicles obvious drop in price. Was due to the main deal leak, of which your business knew about. That was not listed in your description of the vehicle, which now I view as rather deceptive after two hours in a car. I'm not sure how you expected to sell the vehicle on the tires it has since one has a protruding bubble. And none of them match. And all of them are dry rotted. Brakes are visibly low to nonexistent. And if you have no knowledge a rear main seal leak is a huge issue. That often, not always, has cascading effects. Now all that aside. Your business still chose to act without integrity. Your sales person was rude when confronted about the new price.( I can't remember his name, he made no effort to remember mine and called me "Blake") Your company wanted me to foot the bill for a poor purchase on your companies part. read more

I was looking for a new car not too long ago. I went to Wolfchase Toyota to test drive a Camry XLE, and I had an appointment with Demarius. He let me to take the car around the block to have a feel of the McPherson suspension present in the XLE trim. He showed me other features that I had not been previously aware of in the car and walked me through them to see if I liked them. One feature the car had that I was not aware of was a Driver Monitor Camera. This comes standard with the Premium Plus package and it was a feature I did not want in the car, enough so that I would not buy a vehicle with it at all. Wolfchase did not have any cars matching what I was interested in on the lot, and I told Demarius that I would need time to think about my next vehicle purchase because of the unremovable DMC in the Premium Plus package. Although all talk ceased and there was no further action or recommendation of allocation, my decision was respected and he did not try to sell me a car I did not want. My intelligence wasn't insulted on the things I did not like, which I experienced at another dealer on this search, and that was worth leaving a positive review. read more

Can't go in a for a single routine oil change without them trying to up sell some additional "required maintenence" or "issue." 2021 Camry with 65k miles and they've wanted to bleed the brakes, resurface brakes, clean mass air flow sensor, alignment, battery is now "red" where it was "green" previously, and new wipers when they are working just fine. Have not had a single issue with this car by just simply doing the actual scheduled maintenence. Watch your back at this dealer! Always look up what the actual maintenence is before you get con'd into unnecessary work being done because some tech/advisor is looking to pad their pockets. I will not take my vehicle back here again. They are crooked. read more

i had the protector under front bumper pulled off by a curb I drove too close to. Went to Toyota and they had it up and I was on my way within an hour. Cost 53$. Good deal. I have always bought my vehicles from them since coming to Memphis. It does take awhile for an oil change with an appt. I think they do oil changes by first come first served. Last time bringing my car here every time I bring it, something goes wrong and they push it off like it's not important. Over a year ago took my car to get new tires and rotors and there was an issue with the tires. Left it days at a time for them to tell me it was a piece of paper/stick stuck in the wheel from when they put the tires on. Right after my parking brake light kept coming all, all the service advisors said it was fine nothing was wrong. I've been drive my car for a year with this and today I was able to take it there after they claimed it needed to be there for days and they fixed the issue in minutes and charged me over $200 for a issue that should have been fixed over a year ago. Just scammers in this department trying to get over and get a sale. Will be getting my new car from another dealership they will never get another dime out of me. read more

I left a car in service. I needed to add a repair. I called Wolfchase Toyota to speak to my service advisor. I got a computer named Willow. Willow wasted a lot of my time. Willow could not connect me to a person or a voice message in service. I am at home now and called again. I asked to speak to a Human. Even the concierge (that what Willow called them) could not get me through to my service advisor. I ended up in the same voice loop I had been sent to several times before. I know Wolfchase is a very good Toyota store. There were plenty of employees working in service when I dropped the car off. It is too bad that the dealership thinks it is a step forward to have an unyielding mis-understanding computer answering the phones. It was extremely irritating - and it colors my opinion of Wolfchase Toyota. read more

This is my second Prius with Wolfchase Toyota I got my first Prius in 2006 at Wolfchase Toyota. I took it back to Wolfchase Toyota since I had it for all the normal, routine maintenance and have had a great experiences with all the Sales and Service people. Well, wouldn't you know it - after only 14 years, the 8-year warranty on the hybrid battery, simply ran out. I won't bore you with the details, but I had to have the 2006 Prius towed - at Toyota's advise - to Wolfchase Toyota. Yes, the hybrid battery did need to be replaced. I knew this day was coming, but still, it is never pleasant. Am I right? Kelly's Blue Book said it might be worth $2,500 - if there were no problems. As it was, CarMax offered me $1,500 - knowing that the battery needed to be replaced. Toyota said it would cost $4,500 to replace the battery. Let's do a little math here. Should I spend $4,500 toward a new battery for a 14 year old car that's worth $2,500. Or would I be better off putting that money towards a new car? Hmmm. You guessed it. A new car. And, I took the $1,500 from CarMax. After I did my homework, I did some serious looking at the 2020 Subaru Outback and the 2020 Toyota Prius XLE. The Outback is an excellent choice. However, I ended up going with the Prius, for nearly the same price. The Prius got a 51% to 49% vote over the Outback on my vote. It was quite close. Last summer, my wife and I worked with Michael White at Wolfchase Toyota when we upgraded her car to a 2019 Toyota Highlander. Since Michael had done such a great job for us then, we called him about the Prius. I had wanted a Prius Limited, but our search only found about 52 in the country at that time. Slight disappointment, but we went with the 2020 Prius XLE. So far... I have enjoyed my experience, but I may be a bit bias, having had my other Prius for 14 years. Regardless, if you're looking for a new Toyota, look up Michael. He'll take care of you. Plus, they've got some skilled folks to take care of you when you need your car worked on. read more

Worst car buying experience EVER! Purchased a used truck from this dealership and it had undisclosed illegal modifications to the pollution control system that voided the remaining warranty of the vehicle. The carfax report provided by the dealer listed several years of factory warranty remaining but upon arriving home, 800 miles away, I took the vehicle in for minor repairs and was told that it had been flagged in the manufacturers database as having been modified and subsequently would not be covered under certain aspects of the warranty such as motor, turbocharger, etc. Wolfchase agreed to take the vehicle back and although i was told by the sales manager that he had never seen anything like this situation in all his years in the car business, no offer was made to share any of the cost of returning the vehicle. Additionally, the prevailing attitude among all levels of the dealership seemed to be that I was being granted a favor by being allowed to return the vehicle. In fact, upon my return the dealership to turn the vehicle back in, the assistant manager, Clay, who had handled the return walked away from me mid sentence when I questioned him as to why the dealership would not share in the expense of returning it since my situation was supposedly so unusual. Strangely enough the vehicle was listed on the dealers website within a day or two of the return and still carried the same misleading information on the carfax report with no disclaimer from the dealer. Perhaps this was not such an unusual situation after all. Would have expected more from a Penske affiliated company but safe to say I am thoroughly underwhelmed. read more

I realize that Toyota vehicles are very popular for a number of reasons and purchasing a Toyota may not require a lot of effort on behalf of your sales force in this nutty post-Covid environment. However, it would've been nice to have at least been acknowledged when we walked into your establishment this afternoon (after driving 8 miles through a rain storm, I might add). NO ONE gave us the time of day. They were ALL sitting/standing around the center of the showroom laughing it up and seemed to be having a grand old time. I also didn't appreciate a sales rep closing the door on the passenger side when I went over to the driver's side just for a moment. I had a reason for leaving it open, but he didn't even bother to ask. I bought my last two Toyotas from you, but there are other 'fish in the sea', as they say. Too bad, Wolfchase. Apparently Wolfchase Toyota doesn't need to sell any cars today. My husband drove up and parked at 6:25pm after seeing a car online that he wanted to test drive. All of the sales associates just looked at him, without saying a word. He had to walk inside to try to get assistance and they told them they closed at 7pm. They didn't ask him anything, offer to show him anything, or offer any assistance at all. We will certainly never go back. There are hundreds of dealers available and it is a shame for my husband to be treated that way. read more

Lavarius was the sales person who helped me. He was courteous, professional, knowledgeable and no pressure. I mean zero pressure. We test drove a few different cars including another test drive prior to purchase just so I could be sure. He was honest and up front and positive. I can't ask for more. Tammy in finance was equally wonderful to work with. She was positive, took her time to answer questions, and I had many and made the finance and portion portion an absolute breeze. I can honestly say this may have been the best car dealership experience I have ever had. I called to have some service done because my dash light were lighting up like fireworks. Got in at 4:45 and less then an hour it was done. They were so kind, kept me updated of everything going on. There was a recall and they made sure to come out and let me know they can fix it right then and there. Zac was so nice and understanding when I said I couldn't replace some filters quite yet and assured me it was ok not pushy at all!
