    Colby Seymour Feb 26, 2024, 8:39PM CST Greetings, I purchased a 2024 Camry SE from Wolfchase Toyota on August 10, 2023 under false pretense Rozena Schmidt the Finance Manager, William Skinner Service Manager, Ty Wiggins Internet Sales Manager, And the Matt Trumbo General Manager, in speaking with Wolfchase Toyota they made it clear to me that I don't have a warranty on my vehicle, on a service appointment 02,22,2024, I stated that the leaves are on my condenser and is making vehicle Engine stall and I have a crack windshield and scratches all around my vehicle, Rozena Schmidt told me the interior and exterior damage addon that was a warranty I bought for 1700.00 is invalid. Also, Toyota Corporate explained to me that I only have Toyota Care Services only to receive 2 free oil change for 20,000 miles. But Toyota Corporate said that my 2024 Camry SE don't have a 36000 to 60000 warranty. Also, Micheal White Finance Manager was trying to sale me a 2800.00 key fob replacement along with 1700.00 Interior and Exterior damage, but I later found out at Chuck Hutton Toyota That my Camry SE doesn't come with a remote start, After the Service Manager promise me that a software update would possibly fix the problem on my Sept 8, 2023, appointment. Then I spoke to Toyota Corporate about the remote start and they said thats the way the vehicle is made. So, I go back to Wolfchase Toyota to switch out my car that had only 2000 miles and I had already spoked with Toyota Corporate then Wolfchase Toyota told me to Call Southern Automotive who do all their work and get an aftermarket remote start, I told Wolfchase Toyota that would void my warranty if I put a third-party part on my new vehicle. Also, on Dec 18 around about 730am I stopped by Wolfchase Toyota for my 5000 miles appointment the bay was totally empty. The Service Manager William Skinner said they was back up busy I said I'm the only vehicle in the bay, he said 100 people drop their vehicles off this morning. So, Chuck Hutton I Call the same day and ask could bring my vehicle in for my 5000-mile service they said come on in. Then I Call explained the situation to Toyota Corporation and they open a Racial Discrimination Complaint. On 02-22-2024 I had made a service appointment for stalling of my engine because of a manufacturing defect that cause leaves to be trap onto the condenser which sucks into the radiator and engine. However, I asked to check my YouTube on my Infotainment system and crack front window glass. The Service Attendance told me it's nothing we can do for you and your vehicle the leaves you have to figure that out and you already had your 5000-mile service. So, the Service Manager told me you got to learn how to fix your own vehicle, but I'm disabled. He then told me I only get to 2 oil changes and that's it. And because you asking to many questions, I'm not get those leaves off your condenser and leave before I call the Authorities. I would like my 37,748.95 back for the Toyota Camry SE, pain and suffering humiliation, Racial Discrimination, False Pretenses, Manufacturing Defective Product Liability, no warranty but Toyota Care Service 2 oil changes. I contacted Brothers Mobile Tire Service & Tire Shop, and they were very helpful by giving me Mr. Robert's phone number. When I called him, he told me to come straight to his location. As soon as I arrived, he quickly diagnosed the issue and immediately started calling around to find the necessary part. What truly meant the most was the kindness shown by his family. They personally drove my family and me back to our hotel while the car was being repaired. This was a huge blessing because we had a family of five and Uber could only accommodate four passengers. At first, I thought the car wouldn't be ready until the next morning, but Mr. Robert called me shortly after and said he already had the part removed and would have the car ready that same night. Less than three hours later, he was on his way to deliver my vehicle back to me. When I got in the car, it drove like new again. Mr. Robert was truly a blessing to my family. He worked faster than any shop I've ever dealt with and went above and beyond to help us in a stressful situation. If you need any vehicle services in the area, Mr. Robert is definitely the person to call for fast, reliable, and excellent service.

I tried to get a response from the text chain that was initiated when I booked the appointment, called 2 different phone numbers I could find online and emailed as well. No response. Then 3 hours later they get back to me and I asked that they still come. The issue with my car was concerning back brake lights that would not turn off and were draining the battery. The mechanic inspected and diagnosed that I needed my brake light switch replaced (also back brake light bulbs were burned out). He quoted me $420-$460 to fix it (that price included the $140 inspection and fuel surcharge fee). That sounded crazy to me so I just paid the $140 base fee said forget it, don't do the repair. I did some research on YouTube and checked out the situation myself, and it turned out to be just the rubber bumper piece that depresses the switch that had rotted and I was able to replace it with a bolt and washer I had on-hand for free. And anyway, if it had been a bad switch, that part only costs $10-$20. I'm pissed that the guy was going to over-charge me and I can't help but think it was because I'm a woman.

    Lack of transparency and unauthorized cost increase!…read more Before reporting the terrible service I received, I want to make one thing very clear: the employees were polite and respectful at all times. My issue is not about attitude, it is about lack of transparency, which for me is the most important factor when choosing a mechanic. Yesterday around 10:00 a.m., I took my car to Christian Brothers Automotive (Lakeland, TN) with a known issue. I clearly stated that I wanted only the replacement of the alternator belt. I received a quote of US$380, was informed the service could be completed the same day, and I approved it. Later that day, I was informed that due to workload, the car would be ready the following day. I understood and had no issue with that. This morning, I received a call informing me that the price had changed from US$380 to US$950, an increase of US$570 (more than 150%). I did not approve the new price. I was then told that was fine and that I could pick up my car because the service was already completed. What do you mean? This is where the problem becomes serious. The shop performed a service that did not fully resolve the issue, even after I refused to approve the additional cost. In other words, I was expected to pay for incomplete work, and if I wanted the problem fully resolved, I would have to pay an additional US$570. In my view, proper and transparent business practice would require informing the customer of any additional necessary repairs before performing any work, and obtaining explicit approval prior to proceeding. If approval is not granted, no partial or incomplete service should be performed. To make matters worse, after picking up the car, I noticed a strong burning smell and smoke coming from the engine, which raises serious safety concerns and the risk of fire. This experience was extremely disappointing. Due to the lack of transparency, unauthorized cost increase, incomplete service, and safety concerns, I DO NOT RECOMMEND CHRISTIAN BROTHERS IN LAKELAND, TN!

I figured it had developed a parasitic leach so I researched how to diagnose and fix it, but the task seemed pretty time consuming, and I knew it would take me forever. So, I took it to Christian Brothers Automotive on Houston Levee. They took fantastic care of me. Jeff, the mechanic who was assigned to my truck, put in a lot of time and effort to find the leach (which turned out not to be any ordinary problem). And David kept me updated everyday with what they found, or didn't find. Their level of customer service was outstanding. Ultimately, Jeff found that a wire had not been secured properly (another mechanic at a different shop) and the insulation rubbed off, so the wire was making contact with some metal which was causing my battery to discharge. After this, they have a customer for life. Great guys.
