Thank you Tim and team for helping me with such an epic ring! I truly cannot recommend Wolf Diamond enough for being top class on customer service and for delivering on an amazing product. I had done a little research prior to going to Wolf Diamond, but I was no expert. Tim shot me straight, explained my options never trying to sell me on a specific size or ring. He just told me my options and ask what I wanted. And his pricing was very good compared to the other stores I had gone to previously. A+++ don't hesitate to give Tim and team a chance. I mean they make custom rings to order for a fair price, what is better than that. Don't get trapped at the chains. I will definitely be back for my wedding bands!
Back in 2015, my fiancé and I worked with Wolf to design my engagement ring. They helped me get exactly what I wanted and still stay within budget for a young engaged couple. Several years later, I had moved to California but based on my first experience, still wanted to work with them. They exceeded expectations, helping me design the perfect wedding band all via email (I had several ideas and they were very responsive). Just looked down at my ring and had to leave this review. Highly recommend for your diamond needs!!
Wow. I cannot say enough great things about this place. Tim helped my fiancé create the perfect ring! I am so proud to be wearing such an exquisite piece of jewelry! They really care about the quality of their art here! They will work with you to create something entirely unique in your budget. My fiancé got the ring appraised for way more than he spent on it. I will be recommending this place to everyone and we will definitely be going back for our wedding bands.

Let me just say we had a horrendous experience with my original engagement ring. Prior to using Bryan at Wolf Diamonds I had used another very reputable, trusted, big name jeweler in Houston. Little did I know that I paid DOUBLE for my eternity band at "X" jeweler, in which the diamond quality promised was not in fact delivered. I then promptly returned my diamond to jeweler "X", took my money to Wolf Diamonds, and got nearly an entire carat larger for almost the same price. It doesn't stop there! Wow, what a HUGE difference in diamond quality! Both of my diamonds from "X" and Wolf were G colored, VVS2, emerald cut, yet the diamond from "X" looked like a piece of plastic next to my Wolf diamond. All my friends and family commented on what a stark difference in brilliance and cut that the diamonds had. Bryan Vaughn charges incredibly fair pricing for diamonds that can compare to BlueNile or any other online wholesaler. Bryan sources beautifully cut diamonds that are GIA certified. Keep in mind that both my diamonds had the EXACT same cut, color, and clarity- yet diamond "X" looked like plastic next to Bryan's diamond. We are so ingrained that it's all about the 4 C's, and that all diamonds are created/cut equally. They simply are not. Don't fall victim to just simply hearing these stats, and thinking you're getting a great diamond. If you asked two different artist to draw a dog, would they look identical? Why would diamond cutting be the same? To further affirm my jeweler choice, I had my engagement ring independently appraised and the appraisal came out 30% more than I had actually paid. The appraiser even told me that there is a reason why Tiffany & Co., Cartier, Harry Winston, etc have such big names- they have the best diamond cutters in the world. He told me that my diamond was that of similar cut quality. I've since referred two friends/family to Bryan, and they came back with raving reviews AND raving independent appraisals on their rings. My cousin and his fiance appraised their independently in Dallas, and he back at double of what he actually paid. This makes two independent appraisers, in two different cities, not knowing the maker of our rings. Needless to say from my essay here, I highly recommend Wold Diamonds. Could not have been happier that I came across Brian and Tim at Wolf Diamonds. They helped to make one of my biggest investments a walk in the park, and educate me along the way. The whole process was incredibly pain free and quick. After Tim had taken the time to explain the pricing variations from diamond to diamond, I gave them my price range I was comfortable with; then it was merely a matter of hours until they had a diamond set and ready. Great business model these guys have implemented as they are clearly trying to do what is best for the customer. As many others have stated, I found Wolf Diamonds through Yelp when looking up jewelry stores. My boyfriend (fiancé now) and I have been together 7 years and we both recently graduated college so we began talking about looking for a Jewelry store for engagement rings. We spent one Saturday back in May going to a handful of jewelry stores in the Houston area. As soon as we walked into Wolf, Tim sat us down and walked through the process, explained the 4 C's in detail and showed us some diamonds. We both left that day knowing why they had so many amazing reviews. He answered all of our questions and was so friendly. Now months later my fiancé recently proposed and I was so happy to find out he went back to Wolf Diamond! I get more compliments on my ring saying how beautiful the diamond is! I cannot give too high of a review to Wolf Diamonds after my buying experience with them a couple months ago. If you are in the market for an engagement ring or a diamond purchase, Wolf is a MUST for consideration. I first heard about Wolf Diamonds via referrals - about five friends have purchased with Bryan Vaughn, owner and founder, all of whom have also had very positive experiences. My first experience with Wolf Diamonds began with a 45 minute meeting with Bryan. He gave me an incredible overview of the diamond business including how diamonds are marketed, priced, and most importantly what to look for in an incredible diamond ring (not just about the Cs like most internet research starts with). Bryan was very transparent throughout the process and even encouraged me to price shop around, which I did, but I came back to Wolf because of the high level of customer service/interaction I received throughout the process. But more importantly, Wolf was able to source several of the finest cut diamonds on the planet for my engagement ring at a very fair price and completely tailored to my budget. Wolf's business model is to source some of the finest cut diamonds on the planet - period - which is possible through their business partners and supply chain partners with people all over the globe. Tim and the other staff at Wolf were all very courteous throughout my buying and research process, and I thank them for their efforts in crafting a truly unique engagement ring that took my (now) fiance's breath away - and that of her girlfriends and many people in public when they see her ring. Read this if you are buying a diamond! It's going to be lengthy but it's very worth it. I decided a few months ago that it was time to ask my girlfriend to marry me. Now to give you some background I am type A, very serious, and an over the top kind of guy. I want to excel in social settings, work and anything else I am involved in. So when I decided to buy a diamond I was going to buy on heck of a diamond. I began hours and hours of researching diamonds. The specific diamond I was looking for was not as popular with women today. I was looking for an Asscher cut diamond. Once I was ready to begin looking for diamonds I asked my friends who were married where they went. They informed me of wholesalers in the Houston area and one friend in particular referred to Bryan at Wolf Diamonds. I was also cold calling various jewelers looking for Asscher cut diamonds (most jewelers don't carry them that's how low of demand there is for Asschers). I make an appointment and Bryan greets me in the main foyer of his building. We sat down and began talking about the type of diamond, the setting, etc. He also asked me where I had been and at that point it had on been a large chain store (for setting ideas). He encouraged me to go out and talk with other jewelers. He explained the diamond selling process and how most jewelry businesses functioned. He was very upfront and answered all of my questions (and I had a ton). I spent the next few weeks going from jeweler to jeweler discussing and looking at Asscher diamonds when I could. I would ask to hold the diamonds, look through Loupes, and discuss the process of how they would build the setting for the diamond, etc. Many of these places would have their in-house guys do the casting and one guy actually showed me the basement it was done it (was not pretty). Bryan had explained to me back in his office that these processes can lead to poor quality settings and that's why he only uses a company called Techform for his casting. During my trips I confirmed all the things Bryan had told me. Let me just say this, in a industry where a majority of customers only buy one time and the jewelers recognize it, what do you think happens? The need for fine quality is not needed as much as say a restaurant would need. Bryan explained to me how to spot who really was a quality diamond seller and who wasn't. I went back to him and told him I'd like him to find the diamond I described in the price range I wanted. One week later he sent me pictures of "[my] diamond". He had me come into the office and take a look at it. He explained to me all the details, he provided the GIA report, he let me hold it and look at it. I was able to inspect it with his Loupe, and to my surprise Bryan was the only one that showed me how to properly hold a Loupe (and I had used it many times in front of other jewelers). He also was the one to not turn on LED lights to make the ring sparkle more than it would in normal day light. You'll notice them flip those "special" lights on. He even let me walk outside with the diamond to see how it sparkled in the sun! I bought the diamond that day and gave him all of the details of how I wanted the setting made. He told me that he could do it exactly how I wanted it. All I had to do was pick it up when it was finished. Later on, Bryan called me and had me pick up the ring within the time he originally told me it would be completed. My Fiancée is in love with her diamond ring and is complimented all the time. I'm going back to him to get the wedding bands later this year. For everyone reading this, Bryan and Wolf Diamonds are the ones that should be selling you a diamond. They know what they're doing and selling quality diamonds at an amazing price is what they do best. Go see them!
Wolf Diamonds is simply the best. Both Bryan and Tim simplified the diamond buying process and helped me customize and design a perfect ring. I did my homework and shopped around before making my way to Wolf Diamonds and they were hands down the best. They only sell quality stones and their custom work is first class, and not to mention they are very fairly priced. The finished product has received countless complements. Needless to say I'd highly recommend them to anyone needing a new purchase or redesign of a ring.
