This was my first time at this location and I found our server ( Krystal ) to have a customer service level of 5 Stars out of 5 Stars Flawlessly Perfect !!! Krystal was very friendly, upbeat, and never made you feel rushed while she was helping you with putting in your orders. This place was recommended by some friends that had recently moved to the area. We ordered a couple of items that were suggested on yelp i.e. spicy lady roll and spicy edamame. I have to say I was more impressed with the spicy edamame. The spicy lady rolled tasted like other rolls that I've had before but I can see how people would like it. I definitely liked the crunchy rice tuna roll. Calamari app was very good. As far as drinks, I ordered a glass of the plum wine which was good. Service was average. Although our server was really nice... She did forget to items that we ordered and never realized that we never received them. As far as the food, some of the sushi was a little tough and chewy. My favorite thing was this chicken rice we got! It was bomb! This place is very very expensive, I think more expensive than Kabuki. But probably such a high price because it's at the mall. Was it worth the price? Not really.. And the service was pretty slow too. That seems to be a common theme with other Yelp reviews I have read. They simply grill the chicken and put it on a bed of white rice they will never let you modify for fried rice. With a side ramekin of the teriyaki sauce which has sake as one of the ingredients which makes it so horribly bitter because the sake has not been cooked on the chicken so your getting Sake with NO evaporation. Food is typically outstanding. Service is hit and miss depending on the staff. Pricing seems rather volatile, especially if you compare prices between in-store and popular delivery apps. I know they have an up-charge cost on delivery services, but they also keep a table free so I feel like it should be a wash. But the pricing seems to get tweaked every month or two so it's hard to know how best to order the food if doing a pick-up order. It's hard to believe I just spent about $23 for this meal, supposed to be Parmesan garlic noodles, and a house salad. What I got is just a bunch of flavorless noodles with about a tablespoon of cheese on the top and a house salad that's seen better days ....the sparse wontons are as limp as a noodle and all the iceberg lettuce is red around the edges..... Came here a few weeks ago with my friends and ordered the spicy tuna cut roll, garlic noodles, and the wokano pear martini for a drink. The spicy tuna roll along with any other roll I've ordered when coming here has always been very fresh and delicious. They come with a bit of a heftier price tag, but i think that's due to the outdoor mall location. The garlic noodles were by far my favorite, so simple yet soooo delicious. First let me start by saying if you serve the exact same rolls the way they where prepared for Happy Hour As you do the regular price menu I don't know how you stay in business. Paired the Spicy Garlic Eggplant with an Eel and Avocado Roll. Not bad at all! Couldn't finish the eggplant as it was a lot. As expected it was crowded for a Friday night by the mall. We got lucky with finding parking right away and we were seated within less than 10 minutes. They didn't have enough room for the stroller in the aisle so they accommodated us well by giving us a booth with space behind us to park it. Somewhat noisy with music playing, but not bad enough to drown out a conversation at the table. Our waitress Lisa was pretty good. Got everything right.
