Chicken ramen, mild, $22 tax/tip. Nice place, plenty of patrons on Monday night. TVs with the soccer match on. (Bonus). Service was average. Forgot the ice water. Seemed to have 2 servers. The ramen was made with spaghetti noodles. That's a non-starter for me. Broth was fine and heat-regulated. The oversized bowl leaves you wanting for more ingredients. One of the biggest challenges in moving to the area in Valencia coming from the west side of LA is the lack of choices of great quality restaurants in terms of food and service. I still used to drive to WLA / W Hollywood/ Santa Monica / BH area for my usual go to restaurants, specially more so when it comes to sushi! But, because I wanted to get to know the new neighborhood I am in, I have tried several sushi places, in vain. Then one day, while I was at the next door Pete's coffee, I saw a sign ( in a banner saying new management, TOKYO sushi, Grand Opening!) And so I did come and try with my son and my daughter-in-law. My gosh! I'm so happy I did! The service is amazing and everyone is very friendly, including the husband and wife owners! Such a great find for us! It's also a very quiet place where you can actually bring business partners for meetings and spacious enough if you wanted a private dinner party with no loud ridiculous music! It's actually very relaxing to go to this place unlike the other places I've checked out in Santa Clarita.Their fish is always fresh! Love ordering my always fresh toro sushi / sashimi here, along with their Santa Barbara fresh uni! And if I feel like super hungry , I like ordering their Bento boxes. But if I want to watch my diet, I can go for their poke bowl. They have great sashimi as well and lots of awesome choices of rolls, but they can custom make anything for you as well. I can't understand how this place is not as trending as all the other sushi places here in Santa Clarita that are so hyped up! I first tried Tokyo Sushi during the pandemic, via pick-up order, but finally came to dine in a few months ago. I've been here several times now and I seem to favor this joint whenever I'm craving or in the mood for Japanese cuisine. Service is welcoming and the fresh food quality and ingredients plus the beautiful plating presentations are consistent and appreciated. I haven't been disappointed once. Everything I've tried is delicious! They offer edamame for the table as you sit and you never feel neglected when dining in. They are attentive and courteous. Looking for a Japanese restaurant in Valencia and came across this place. Not an authentic Japanese restaurant since they served Korean bbq. Ordered the albacore which was ok. I ordered the Korean bbq with tempura and my friend ordered the bulgogi & tempura. Granted the restaurant wasn't that busy, the beef was cold, not even lukewarm which was really disappointing. The tempura was good and slightly warm. Did they just take it out of the refrigerator? When we told the hostess she just brought out more meat that was hot. No apology or making excuses. So much goodness that I had forgotten to take pictures of most my food because I was busy stuffing my face. The first one we ordered was the otoro sushi (that I forgot to take picture). It was amazing and melted in my mouth. The shrimp tempura was yummy. The escolar was great. My salmon skin hand roll was very generously packed and salmon skin in every bite. Highly recommended. I ate a couple of bites and my stomach started burning with unbearable pain. Nothing Ive felt before, especially after eating spicy let alone ramen. Absolutely horrible. Not to mention it is the most overpriced underrated ramen ive ever had. I have gotten spicy ramen from many different places and NOTHING compares to how spicy and painful this was. Came in for lunch with a friend. Parking outside there's plenty in the parking lot. The restaurant is a little hidden, but it's next to Peet's coffee on that corner across from coldstones. I ordered the chicken teriyaki meal that comes with rice, salad, and tempura. I enjoyed my chicken bento box and my friend liked all of the rolls she ordered. Brought my family here for dinner. Unfortunately the last time for us. Busy night at the restaurant around 6:00pm. Seated in the back at a table with flickering lamp (really bad for eyes) and right in front of portable AC (blowing right into our backs and food). 4 entrees ordered: Pork cutlet bento, Pork cutlet udon, Kalbee bento and Poke bowl plus 2 orders of spicy salmon sushi. All the bentos came out. Each piece of the Galbee was fully burnt on one side and inedible (and portion was incredibly small). Requested kitchen to send another batch. Nothing came out for a while, so had to ask again. Finally got replacement and received half cooked bones in a shallow dish. Inedible again. Asked about my sushi orders and poke bowl more than three times with separate people. Never came out. So requested to cancel and the check. Finally spoke to owner lady and she said the poke bowl was being made in the kitchen and would bring out soon. By this time, my wife and daughter finished their entrees. My son's galbee dinner was ruined and replacement was really bad. Showed the lady owner and explained we were done. She was apologetic and tried to bring out the missing entrees. But by this time, we had decided to go somewhere else. I asked to pay for the bill (adjusted for missing items) and leave. Lady owner insisted I eat the poke bowl but we were done. So she said she wouldn't take our payment. We appreciated her owning the situation but unfortunately would never come back. To the owners. Please fix the light fixture above that table. You know which one. Please don't seat guests right in front of AC machine blowing dust and air right into our backs, faces and food. Please quality check your kitchen service. Galbee can't come out burnt. Flipping it over to hide from the guest is not smart. Mistakes happen, but when you offer to make it right, please make sure it is right (not a couple of half cooked bones). And finally, you're a sashimi and sushi place. I would expect sushi and poke bowl are staples. Can't imagine it would take 45 min to almost an hour for these items to come out. And if backed up, ask your servers to politely update your guests. Don't leave them unattended wondering for extended periods. Wish you the best. Hope you fix these things. read more

This is my families and I goto Togo order destination for rolls or bowls. Have seated once inside not to long ago and service was good there is a blonde server who made our experience great. Even Togo orders she is usually the one who helps us. "You're appreciated". Quality has not been a disappointment. Usually order basic rolls and the rice bowls. Had order yellow tail carpaccio before the time dining in wasn't very impressed would stick to the rolls here. Definitely wanting to come in sometimes soon to eat and enjoy some soju! read more

One suggestion, if you're ordering to-go, that you call the order in, otherwise, you'll be waiting while. First visit, did have an issue with my order, however, they kindly resolved it. The rolls are all very fresh and good. My friend and I tried the shrimp tempura, highly recommended as an appetizer. If you don't want anything too spicy, suggest you ask if anything you're ordering is spicy. One of the rolls I ordered was a little too spicy but I got through it.
