Back again! We have made this our weekly lunch spot and are officially addicted! Thick and fresh cuts of fish in their Sashimi platter. Amazing presentation. They always seem to keep getting better! The salmon was buttery and soft, the Yellowtail was fresh and flavorful, the tuna was soft and light. The sushi pieces we got were halibut and red snapper. They add some chillies and green onions on top. Absolutely delicious! The rice is cooked perfectly! All the servers have been phenomenal. They are quick, attentive, and so nice! 10 out of 10 all across the board! Go and support this family restaurant! We definitely feel like family when we go! We love Love Sushi! read more

I LOVE the return of the original owner. We visited last month and everything was delicious! Best sushi in SCV! It was the perfect ratio for the filling and toppings to the rice! I felt so full after 1 and a half rolls of sushi! I don't understand how yelp reviews rank it less than 4-5 stars. Sometimes star reviews of Yelp doesn't paint the whole picture. I've tried many sushi places around the SCV and LA area, but non can compare to Love Sushi. I have yet to find a place with the ratio of fish to rice Love Sushi has along with unbeatable prices. My go to pick in their menu is the Salmon Sashimi. If you love salmon you won't be disappointed. The ambiance is subjective as I find it a bit dark inside, but this place will have you leaving full, happy, and satisfied. This is my go to sushi spot. Great food and great service! read more

I love coming here whenever I'm craving sushi! My favorite roll is the Mexican roll. It has a little kick to it but it's so good! I paired it with some miso soup, gyoza, and shrimp shumai. This is one of my favorite sushi restaurants. The baked green mussels, Philadelphia roll and oh baby roll are my favorite. Customer service has always been great. The restaurant is small, so there isn't too many seatings, especially when it gets crowded. :) read more

You can't go wrong with sushi for lunch. I enjoyed every roll that I tried here, but my favorite two were the Vegas Roll and the Fire Love roll. They were both packed with great flavors. The cream cheese is a must. The service was excellent. The waitress was really nice and friendly and kept checking on our party. The ambiance was nice it's a quiet and slight romantic setting with low lighting, making it a great place for a date. I really enjoyed the Fire love Roll. My last review was solely based on the business abruptly closing with no signs, no updates to their website or yelp. However, it came to my attention that there was a change in ownership. Whatever changed, I am THRILLED. Not only am I happy they are back open, but the quality of the sushi went up a few notches. It was great before, but now it is excellent. My yellow tail was like butter and FRESH. The spicy tuna tempura roll is outstanding- my husband and I usually share 1 of those and this time we each got one because of how delicious it was. Dinner was good but service was bad. The woman owner was rude. Poor people skills. Our table was ignored then rushed like they wanted to close early. It was only 8pm on a Saturday night. Then they automatically added 18% gratuity to check and said "just sign at bottom." We won't be back. There are too many better places in Santa Clarita that appreciate their customers- this place is not one of them. read more

It was good just not to the level of 5 star sushi places. We ordered delivery which might have been the reason for -1 star. It wasn't great like some other places...just "good". Like not Costco cold-rice status but still wasn't as good as some others we have ordered from. Perhaps an off night. Will try again and update my review. read more

I've been here multiple times already and for the most part, everything has been wonderful. The food is fresh, delicious and flavorful. Favorites: love sushi hand roll, salmon skin salad, bento box with mixed tempura and beef teriyaki, bulgogi or katsu.. The love sushi hand roll is a must get. It's big and it's so good that I order it every time. The portions for the bento boxes are generous enough that I eat it for 2 meals if I get extra sushi on the side. The bento boxes come with miso soup, salad, rice and of course your chosen entrees. The beef teriyaki, bulgogi and katsu are made well. The tempura is nice and crispy. They give a good mix of veggie and shrimp tempura. The salmon skin salad is so delicious. They put a good amount of salmon skin. The salmon skin is crispy and has a little salmon also. The salad dressing tastes great and isn't overbearing. Not so good stuff: seared tuna- overpriced and was over cooked. I would not get again. Baked scallop roll - maybe taste better when you eat it there. I definitely recommend this place. As with most places, you have to try different items to find what you like. read more

I have frequented Love Sushi for years. I was always satisfied. But then they closed down and then reopened after making changes. Apparently the old owner is back. Everything is different. The food has gone from OK to spectacular. The people who own and work at this place have infused it with a wonderful and invigorating vibe. Everything is so much better. I have been going to this establishment for years with family and friends. It was closed for a while due to building improvements. When the "reopened" noticed all different people working. I asked the server is their new owners? She said " no they went away for a while" Ok. Not a big deal but fine. I got the same order i've always been getting Wow! It's like I was at a different restaurant. Prices were significant higher than before and portion size diminished. Last time I will sent set foot in this place. Great experience for parking lot dining during COVID. Enjoyed our early dinner. Can't really go wrong with any of their rolls. The ramen combo meals are also a good deal. Recommend going early to avoid a wait during peak times. Also the servers have to walk back and forth from inside and outside the restaurant so try to be patient if you need a refill or are waiting for your check. My favorite is the baked mussels so add that if you're getting a bento. Wish their sushi wasn't doused in their soy/vinegar sauce (sometimes masks the flavor of the sushi). Also, the soy sauce is watered down too much. Other than that, satisfied my sushi craving! read more

Sushi is decent. Have tried this place in the past and they seem to be consistent in terms of food, service, and the ambiance is cool. Baked salmon, Fantasy roll, Magic mountain roll are some of favorites. Most of their sushi is good here and ordering to go is quick and easy. Very soon after we ordered she brought out one appetizer and one entrée. Then we sat awkwardly for several minutes while my son ate his entrée, and 3 of us shared seaweed salad. Then she brought my other son's entrée. No sign of the rest of the appetizers. Then several minutes later she brought my husband's entrée. So now my husband and my two sons are sitting there with their meals and I'm sitting there with nothing for several minutes. I then asked if she could please bring the other appetizers before she brought my entrée because I didn't want it to be cold by the time we finished the appetizers. She said she would check on it. The appetizers finally came out and before I took a bite of the appetizers my entree arrived. My sons were done with their meals before I even tasted the appetizers. While these timing issues seem relatively minor it affected our overall experience. I thought it was just an anomaly on previous visits but it's clearly a lack of communication between service and the kitchen or simply a different expectation of the flow of a meal. Ultimately, it's poor service that doesn't seem to match the level of the cuisine. I don't think it's a strange thing to want everyone's food to come out at the same time. And that appetizers should come before entrées.

Once we ordered, I swear everything came out at once and our table was STACKED. The salmon and super toro (jabara) were buttery and easy to eat. Can't go wrong with these options. The uni was also buttery and didn't have a fishy smell which passed my test. The tuna brioche was amazing. I wish this came out first because by the time we ate it, the bread was already getting soggy but this didn't deter me from finishing and savoring each bite. The rolls were great too. Half baked was not too heavy and you could really taste the crab. The end pieces were my favorite pieces. Lastly the over the rainbow roll. This was a great end for our dinner. The wagyu, the salmon, the tuna. Each piece was delicious. I feel like the picture doesn't do it justice. I will definitely be back and making this place a regular spot. You can count on it.

The sushi rolls and appetizers were so good. I really appreciate how you can also get half rolls for some of the speciality sushi rolls. The staff was SUPER attentive and everything came out in a fast, timely manner considering we were starving that day. I highly recommend the Hamachi roll, one of the best raw, fresh rolls I've had.
