Sushi merits the four stars Update- I was a longtime customer but stopped coming here after several disappointing experiences. One online order took more than two hours to complete. After some time, I decided to give this place another try, hoping things had improved. Unfortunately, that was a mistake. The service and overall experience were still very disappointing. I waited two hours for an order once again. Based on my recent visit, I will not be returning and cannot recommend this business to friends or family. Yes, it was Father's Day, however, this isn't the first time I've had the same experience. Just figure this out, please. Sushi is good but not worth the long wait. i walked in STARVING and with a game plan and i was not disappointed by mr sushi! we were seated quickly and our food came out at a good pace. we started with the cucumber salad appetizer which was a generous portion, enough for both of us. instead of the regular garlic chili dressing it was a umami ponzu sauce that was very refreshing--we ate the whole thing lollll our first 2 rolls were the spider and dragon rolls. i love eel so the dragon roll was a hit, the eel in particular had a great flavor! the spider roll was good too. now imagine my face when i saw that there is a roll called crazy spicy white boy. i'm not a crazy white boy but i had to try it just because of the name tbh. it was so good!!! the fish had a nice char flavor, and it was genuinely spicy, not like regular sushi spicy where its just spicy tuna. there was actual hot sauce on top of the roll lol and it tasted really good all together. there is a non spicy crazy white boy on the menu too so maybe i'll try that next time. all in all id give it a 9/10 because not gonna lie the crazy spicy white boy was kicking my butt after a bit but worth it! read more

Located in a small plaza at the corner of Valencia and Cinema, parking was very easy. We arrived just before 4pm to an almost empty restaurant. We were immediately greeted and seated in just a couple of minutes. We were both quite hungry. We started with the Baked Green Mussels and Dynamite, then ordered the Terak, Hama and Rainbow Rolls. For dessert we chose the Banana Tempura Ice Cream. Everything was fresh and so good! Very nice presentations. Portions were generous. During the course of our meal, the servers went through a shift change. It also got noticeably busier as tables started to fill and a large party arrived.
