We used to order from here regularly through DoorDash, but after seeing how things are handled in person, never again. We stood there waiting while the employees focused more on cleaning than helping customers. They were taking out garbage, handling dirty rags, and doing general cleaning during business hours while customers were left waiting. What really grossed us out was watching one of the ladies clean up dripping meat liquid and then continue handling food with the same gloves, THE SAME gloves used for garbage and dirty rags. First of all, this counter stand is inside the Valley marketplace so you won't see a sign outside. If you find the Valley marketplace in the back side of the lot then you found the right place. The marketplace is a very multicultural supermarket, and you'll see why you've been brainwashed by all the big brands marketing. You won't find any of the brands you recognize, inside the marketplace. In fact I found some Goya black bean burgers that were frozen out of the big markets in Los Angeles inside this supermarket. The customers in the market are afghani, persian, mexican, and Korean. In the back of the marketplace you'll see the takeout counter. I got the chicken lulay kabob and it was a plentiful amount of food for lunch. The two skewers were cooked perfectly on top of a bed of rice mixed with dill. On the side was a fresh salad with tomatoes onions and lettuce. It comes with a half of a lemon and a grilled jalapeno and tomato. I definitely be going back to get this for lunch. The only negative that I can think of is that there's nowhere to sit and eat, not even outside. So it's something you have to eat in your car or back at work or back at your house. I don't like to let Chicken cool down though so I just ate it in my car. Highly recommended! read more

I found this 'restaurant' while exploring the Valley Marketplace in a lovely part of Santa Clarita. The rest of the store is pretty cool - a bit untidy, but a large variety of hard-to-find foods, mostly from the Middle-East. While there I thought I'd enjoy an authentic meal, so I ordered the Shawarma salad. The gentleman behind the counter said it would take 15 minutes to prepare but I was happy to wait. The meal was a bit pricey but it was a good sized dish served in a plastic takeout container (there's no place to sit down to eat at the restaurant). When I got home I found the salad portion drenched in a much-too-sweet dressing and chunks of chicken in an unrecognizable goo. Very hungry, I managed to eat about 1/4 of this salad thing and became increasingly ill throughout the night. I think I am recovering today as I write this, but it was the worst meal I've had in my life. Needless to say, the rest of it ended up in the trash. I cannot comment about the rest of this store, but the Sofreh Restaurant should be shut down! I highly recommend against eating there ever! read more
