Hardly any crunch on a roll that's literally called an "Albacore Crunch Roll"

I feel like this place has gotten cheaper and cheaper with the quality of service and food. The service has been so bad and slow that we decided to get an order to go recently. When I picked up the order I opened the box and my rolls looked so small. I ordered an Albacore Crunch Roll along with a Sun-kissed Roll. When I asked the gal at the front for more "crunch" she had to go to the sushi bar to get it and it took forever. When the other hostess came by me she asked "did you get your crunch yet?" I said "not yet" she replied to me "did you pay for it?" I said "nope" and she said "well they are yelling to the hostess u need to pay extra for it." I said "nope" and as soon as the girl came to give to me I grabbed it and walked away. As you can see in my pic they hardly gave me any crunch. So don't call a roll an "Albacore Crunch Roll" if you want to skimp on the crunch smh ‍ It's just sad I used to love coming here but last few times it's been not good :(

Beautiful plating & the flavors were even better
Courtney P.

Sad to say after a long time of not coming here, it seems like the reviews saying quality and service have suffered are indeed correct unfortunately. We were sat pretty quickly by a very unenthused hostess, but then nothing- for a good 10-15 minutes. Once we saw our waiter Eric, we ordered drinks and rolls right away and then again, nothing. He kept randomly passing by but ignoring us. No updates. Sometimes we wouldn't see him for a while. Eventually the gyoza but still no eel sauce or drinks. Another 5-6 minutes goes by and a man (not our server) randomly literally keeps fast walking past our table dropping ginger and wasabi, like quickly. Then our drinks, but then has to get straws. Then 10 minutes go by and our server brings out my partners roll. A few more minutes. He apologizes for the delay, but yet disappears again. Then finally eel sauce. Then we can eat. By this time my gyoza is cold, the drink is watered down, and we are like "what is going on??" there was literally 4 tables. 9 people in the section. I was just astounded. We wanted to ordered more for happy hour but at this rate it would've been over by the time we got the food. I did order the soy garlic chimking wings to-go and by the time he brought that and our check, those were also cold. The ordeal to get the bag and boxes...don't even get me started!! I've never seen this place struggle this bad. And as you see in my previous reviews, I had nothing but good things to say and we ordered a lot more then! The rolls sat up on the sushi counter for QUITE a minute before being taken. I don't know if Eric was having an off day or what but it wasn't as busy as I've seen it. Unfortunately probably won't be back soon! Sorry!

Definitely NOT everyday

We love the happy hour here, but we went on Valentine's Day only to find out they weren't honoring their happy hour pricing because of the "holiday" despite their website saying it is Everyday 3pm to close.

Happy Hour!

Tons of Happy Hour options (even on Fridays!), and good food. We loved the rose roll (pictured), chicken wings, and gyoza. The bar has a nice vibe and was busy but well taken care of. The staff was attentive and helpful in their food and drink suggestions. Who can go wrong with $2 beer and $2 hot sake?

Hanging out in the Santa Clarita area and stumbled across Kabuki. My 4th location and noticed quickly that while the food is pretty consistent at each restaurant, there are different services and specials between them. This location has an Happy Hour every day of the week. I loved that and took full advantage. Ordered a couple of margaritas and a few rolls. The atmosphere was quiet, clean and a similar look to other locations. I had a great experience

Delicious food! Amazing Waiter! This is our go to place for everything! The Takoyaki comes in a 4 piece so if you are big backed like me, get two orders!

Grilled yellowtail collar

We ordered grilled yellowtail collar, it was overcooked and as the result -too dry. The salad wasn't fresh. Disappointing

This location is our go to for lunch. It is located in the Bridgeport plaza. The staff is extremely nice all the time it is not too loud inside and they have seating outside too. The food always tastes fresh and is so tasty. If you need a lunch or dinner spot Kabuki is definitely recommended.

Been here a few times and it never disappoints. I only go for the happy hour and food is good. Ambiance is nice and has nice decor. Servers are very attentive and overall good vibes.

The best way to place a pickup order is to do it online. It's very easy and you can pick your time for pick up and you can add or change things when you order. It's the only way. The best part is you can use a card and put whatever tip you want… Read more

I received a phone call to let me know they close in 10min, I apologized as I forgot they close at 7 on Saturdays. She proceeded to say that we would have cancelled your sushi pizza order as they do not honor late pizza orders. I let her know I appreciated that gesture and was apologetic for ordering so close to closing. I then called my wife to let her know that she should get there soon, she arrives at sometime between 6:50-7pm, before closing time. She came home and let me know that she got lectured by the same lady that called me about my order, she was told " Can you not order so close to closing, and don't order the pizza ?" My wife again apologized, "I'm so sorry we can cancel the order if you guys are closed" and this lady responds with "it's ok we already completed your order...Ya don't do this" If we ordered before closing, we arrived before closing, and we've apologized for our mistake. We just purchased food and gave your establishment money. Do we need to lectured about ordering food during operating hours? They could have just cancelled the order and we would have understood.

They have a Korean fusion menu which elevates the flavors. They actually make the spaghetti, fettuccine and pappardelle pasta in house. I won the lotto finding this hidden gem. I also love the concept of creating your own dish with all the great choices they have. Different sauces, proteins, veggies and spice levels. They also have specialty pasta dishes, ravioli and small 8" Roman Artisan Pizzas! How fun! There is something for every one and every age group. The portions are generous. The prices are very reasonable. For my first time I decided to pick a low key pasta dish. Pappardelle with the rose sauce - no add-ons or spices added. I took it to go and it traveled well. It comes with a seasoned slice of toast. I was very impressed with the taste of the sauce and the quality of the pasta. Next time I'm going to try the creamy truffle mushroom pasta. I was welcomed by a very nice young gentleman with a big smile and he was very helpful. I wish I asked for his name. The woman at the front was also very sweet and friendly. The restaurant has ample seating, very clean and spacious. Casual feel. I literally can't wait to bring my husband and son back up here to have them try it out. Highly recommend giving them a try! WOW is right!

Tacos were a pretty filling plate, didn't skimp out on the meat and was seasoned well. Also gave chips and Salsa on the side which I wasn't expecting. The Spicy tofu soup was delicious, and was pretty big enough for my friend and I to share. Service - Top tier service for the two male workers! Not sure if they were the owners. They were super nice and smiling the whole time as they took my party's order. Offered us water cups when we didn't ask and even brought our food to our table instead of any other restaurant who would just call us by the number and we would go get it. The spicy I'd say was like a 3 out of 5 in heat, but a 5 out of 5 in flavor. A touch of sweet to cut the heat. I've had some spicy k-fried chicken wear my lips burned for an hour lol, this one is palatable and delicious! The soy ginger is salty goodness, perfect for someone who wants to venture a step beyond the Classic Crunch. My personal choice for next time would be the fries over the Korean style street corn. If you've had esquites from your local street vendor, you'll feel the same. The portions here are hella generous for the price; lunch special is $11.99 for a variety of chicken combos and a side. I appreciate the choice of bottled or soda machine for my soda; I'm a bottle person. They have Pepsi for your carbonated needs. The crunch on this chicken is something special.
