My friend said it is not the most fancy place but the food is amazing. She was right. The place was not fancy, but it was comfortable and amazingly clean. The smell upon entering was heavenly. The woman who greeted us was so friendly and made us feel instantly welcome. I ordered the Sesame Chicken and my husband ordered the Happy Family. The Crab and cheese wonton had pieces of actual crabmeat and both entrees were wonderful. The meals seemed a bit expensive until you saw the size of the portions. We could have split an entree and had leftovers. If you want fancy, don't go. If you want great Chinese food in a clean, comfortable atmosphere, by all means go to the Dragon Palace! Personally, my husband and I can't wait to try the other entrees.

I ate here for the first time on a Friday night and hesitated by the poor reviews this restaurant…read morehas received. After eating here, I have to say that some of the bad reviews are puzzling. For example: - The service was fine. Despite it being a rather busy evening, I was seated quickly and my server was very friendly and attentive. - The buffet had a good variety of typical food options. And yes, they had plenty of sweet & sour sauce and soy sauce. - The food was decent quality and tasted like one would expect. I'd call it average Chinese buffet food and that is what I was hoping to get. - The restaurant has a pretty extensive regular menu to choose from when the buffet isn't offered. - The restaurant seemed clean enough and nothing stood out as unusual or troubling. Overall this place was exactly what I was expecting out of a typical Chinese buffet. I wasn't expecting gourmet Asian cuisine and what I received was exactly what I expected: typical Americanized Chinese style food. The price wasn't crazy expensive and you can make multiple trips to the buffet. I'll eat here again when I'm in the mood for Chinese.

I would give a pass however because it was full. As for the food the duck curry I had with extra veggies was VERY good! Lots of duck breast meat and very fresh veggies. If you like spice though I ordered a 3 and it was not spicy at all. But the added chili peppers they brought did the trick. I would highly recommend it and would go back for sure if in the area again.

No Thai basil whatsoever. Mostly lettuce and almost no noodle or shrimp and they put celery in the spring roll which didn't bland with the shrimp and left an unpleasant aftertaste. This is a small but cute family run restaurant in downtown Billings. They offered table service and a mix of Thai and Chinese cuisine. All ingredients were so fresh and delicious. It's a nice big restaurant located heart of downtown. Great service but unfortunately not the food. If you're Asia raised you will get what I am talking about ... rice should not come in the plate soaking wet with orange sauce from chicken and egg soup was very salty comes with vegetables probably same one as those come in fried rice. (Can taste one of those from bag of frozen vegetable) Fried rice isn't made right as well. Sorry but worst orange chicken I've ever had. Sauce is very light almost like soup. Chicken isn't very tender I tasted more of butter than chicken. Egg roll was okay.

There are plenty of tables, but no bar or patio dining options. The walls have some Thai decor, but the interior is fairly sparse and spacious The menu offers a variety of Thai classics. You can find all your noodle dishes, rice, curry's, typical appetizers, etc. they have Thai tea and a variety of drink options, but no coffee or alcohol options I tried their red curry, and it was tasty. I was a little surprised they didn't ask for a heat/spicy level, but it was still solid, but I would have liked more rice. The fried potstickers were tasty as well, but I would have preferred them to have not been fried The service was relatively quick. I did have to keep asking for a top off on water. Also, my appetizer plates weren't based prior to getting my main entree, so, they just sat awkwardly on the table for the remainder of the mean. It wasn't busy, and there was only one server... and I was the only patron over the 45+ minutes I was there. This also made the ambiance feel sort of sad and empty Some tips: Again, you can miss this spot if you're just walking by. Also, when you walk in there is a sign that says "wait to be seated," but I was the only one there except the server/hostess who was sitting literally 25 yards all the way in the back. It's like the hot stand, but it's in the back. It's a little strange As with all downtown Billings restaurants, parking isn't plentiful. You may have to do metered parking or find a spot in a nearby parking garage Cheers!!
