My family and I love the Asian fusion Grill. It is one of our go to places for hibachi and Asian…read morestyle foods. It is a small location, but producers quality food. We initially went there for the hibachi and enjoyed the food so much that we had to go back to try other things on the menu. Between my wife and I, we have tried the steak and shrimp, and just steak hibachi with fried rice and have been impressed with both. From there we expanded and tried their wontons, and their onion soup, both of which have been delicious! The soup can be a little spicy or over seasoned at times but it's a great appetizer to share while you wait for the main course. My sister has tried some of their sushi and said it was really good as well. My favorite has become the chicken teriyaki dish with fried rice. The staff is always super friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is a bit small so we tend to order pick up most of the time but we have eaten there a couple of times and have always been very pleased with the cleanliness and service.

A friend recommended their fresh summer rolls filled with shrimp. I decided to stop by and give…read morethem a try. I found the rolls contained very little shrimp. I would estimate maybe two medium shrimp per each roll. The remainder of the roll contained lettuce, fresh herbs, rice noodles and shredded carrots. I think they are not worth the price due to the lack of protein. My sister walked past me eating it and asks "when did you go get a salad?" That goes to show you how much lettuce was within the roll. Lol Customer service seemed attentive, the interior appeared clean. If I return I won't order this again.

Came in here on a Saturday to dine in. You order at a counter and they'll bring the food out. Girl…read moreworking the counter was pleasant. It's clean inside but pretty small. We ordered two large teas, egg drop soup, two spring rolls, crab Rangoon, orange chicken, and beef with broccoli. The teas were ginormous but only had one tea bag in them. They were also a few dollars each. I brought them home and added two more tea bags of my own to make it have some flavor. Egg drop soup was delicious! Reminded me of the one I would have growing up at my local Chinese restaurant. It was great. The wonton strips that came with it were very stale and a bit of a put off. Crab Rangoon was good, not exactly fried to golden perfection but nothing wrong taste wise. They were on the smaller side. Spring roll was decently. More of a cabbage flavor to it than I am used to. Orange chicken looked good and had peppers in it which I was stoked about, as well as actual orange peel. However, the dish itself did not taste like orange at all. Only if you ate a direct piece of orange peel did it have any hint of orange The beef and broccoli was pretty bland and it did not look fatty, but it felt and tasted fatty in the mouth. The rice with each dish was okay. A little greasy looking for white rice. Overall, I would come back for the egg drop soup but I wouldn't come back to explore the menu. We ordered pretty basic things and found them to be less than average. I would try somewhere else next time.

I called immediately and advised of the mix up I'm am DEATHLY ALLERGIC TO SHELLED FISH. They INSISTED I ordered shrimp fried rice even after I had explained I would never due to the fact it can literally kill me. He stated he read it back to me and I agreed I wish the call was recorded because I NEVER said shrimp and why would I as I again could DIE FROM EATING IT. He offered me half off and didn't take any accountability what so ever kept putting it back on me. This was truly disheartening I literally drive past the Chinese restaurant in my neighborhood to go to them and had a great rapport as I order from them very often so unfortunate that I will never again over something so small that they could have easily rectified as most restaurants do. I didn't want anything free I just wanted what I ordered.

We were four people, four different entrees. We have never eaten here before, and as out-of-town…read moretourists. I am so sorry that for our limited time in Beaufort, we opted for this restaurant, based on its good reviews. This is not a flattering review, and I give it two stars only because I myself tend to dismiss one-star reviews as coming from people with an axe to grind. We try to support small, local businesses, but Ocha Noodle Cafe was a waste of our money, and a wasted opportunity in Beaufort to have a satisfying meal-- so maybe I do have an axe to grind given my disappointment, and even anger about how far two of the four dishes were so disliked to the point of no one wanting to eat them for next-day leftovers. Of the four entrees, only one was good-- the flat noodles with broccoli. The calamari was okay. The larb was awful-- it was very salty and the umami flavor was so strong that it crossed the border from flavorful to smelling as though it had started to turn, although it didn't taste off. However, once we were aware of the off-putting pungent odor, all of us lost the desire to eat it. Most of it was thrown out. The Singapore noodles (see pic) were awful and nothing at all like the way Singapore noodles should be. This dish seemed to be made from cut up bits of spaghetti, which has been overcooked-- the noodles were soft and mushy, in a salty, greasy, and slimy sauce. Most of it was thrown out. The waiter, who smiled only when directly facing us, got the orders correct, and didn't let the water glasses go dry.

It had several quail eggs in it... menu did not list soy sauce marinated quail eggs in this soup. The noodles were the texture of basic 25€ noodles from Food Lion. They were al dente, not softened at all. I am all for supporting local businesses this just wasn't pleasing at all. Sara seemed to be annoyed with many people coming in at 630pm. The younger girl ( didn't catch her name) was very sweet and helpful. I always give establishments two try's before I don't return. Next time I will try something else and will come back for another review.
