Unfortunately, I have to change my review of this place from 4 to 2 stars and the two is for their promptness. The food however has really declined. I didn't want to jump to conclusions so I waited until we ordered from them a second time but both times my husband and I were disappointed with the food. They used to have the BEST chicken wings...no kidding! They were always crispy, fresh and seasoned perfectly!! We would sometimes order 4 appetizers of only wings but the last time they were greasy with little flavor. Decided to give them another chance so yesterday we ordered Kung Pao Shrimp, Hunan Beef, Chicken Lo Mein and Spring Rolls. Spent $50 and every single dish was painfully bland. I don't know what happened....maybe like many other businesses they lost employees/cook due to the pandemic. Whatever the case, I don't think we will be patronizing them in the future, sadly! read more

This has become my go-to for Chinese food. It's not gourmet. But it's great for what it is. Good lunch specials and they deliver.

Never disappoints and portions are generous. My favorite go to for perfect bbq pork fried rice.

Called in an order and when we got there, they had no record of it. Then guy who took our order walked back in from brake and realized he never hit the "submit" button. We were pretty annoyed but they were very apologetic and said they'd work on it ASAP. So we waited. It was totally worth the wait, everything was great and they threw in a couple egg rolls for their mistake. It was their attitude and sincere apology that made us overlook the extra 15 minute wait. The place I wanted to go was closed so we went here, I had never heard of it. They wanted some chicken Lo Mein which isn't really my type of food but I got it anyway. Very friendly and felt authentic. The price for the lunch special was amazing-650. Came with two large cup sized friend rice or white rice, cup of delicious hot and sour soup and a large portion of the entree. My general tso's was one of my favorites. My only gripe, I wish they had kikoman soy sauce. I really like that kind instead of the generic soy sauce packets. The soup came with crispy won tons. I will be back. I really used to like this place until they gave me food that didn't taste the same like it usually does. When I called the owner she was extremely rude and said there was nothing she could do for me. Wow! Customers mean nothing anymore to businesses. Really wish Ying Cafe was still in business. I guess we need to give Li's Chinese Kitchen some business and see if they care about their customers? read more

This is my first experience, and it's VERY safe to say I will be returning. The food is fresh and good. I haven't had Chinese food this good in a LONG time. The lunch portion is so much! Normally Chinese places give the smallest portions for lunch. Although this isn't a place for groups of people, it is worth ordering takeout. The service is friendly and quick. Been a fan of this place until today... called and placed a pick up order, nothing too complicated 3 wonton soups and a fried rice... called at 7:29 and was told 20-30.. here I am one hour later still waiting for the food, asked the guy at the front Whats going on after 45 mins and the response was.. "we are waiting for the soup and the rice" really???? That's what I ordered. asked to get the refund and they say they can't give us the money back... they could've just said that it was going to be 1 hour over the phone I would have gone or ordered somewhere else...... ridiculous read more

Got take-out a few times and so far it's pretty hit-or-miss for us. Hit: Mei Fun noodles - thin rice noodles (think...Angel Hair) mixed with veg and meat of choice. The sauce/seasoning used is very light but very flavorful. Everyone who's tried it instantly fell in love and couldn't stop eating it (hello MSG!) Miss: Lo Mein tasted like noodles soaked in soy sauce. Very disappointing. Meh: Fried Rice. Again, almost like rice stir-fried in soy sauce with stuff thrown in Hit: General Tso chicken was good. The sauce had a nice peppery taste but again, I think the pounding of MSG was quite high on this. Hit: Eggroll - large and crispy. +50 points for having Chinese Mustard sauce on hand. We ordered over an hour and 15 minutes ago and it's still not here, when we called, all they said was your food is here, when delivery person comes back he will bring yours! "WHEN HE GETS BACK"?? I'm from the Midwest and Chinese food tastes much different there, I've been searching the Dfw area for something that reminds me of home and I finally found it! The fried rice was not greasy and had great flavor! The egg foo young was absolutely amazing! The spicy crunchy chicken was something I'd never had, but it was delicious! I ordered a decent amount of food, when I arrived it was neatly packed in a box for safe travels. Soooooo good! I normally go to splendid China but compared to this place they're expensive! Definitely take advantage of the lunch special it runs from 11am to 3pm Monday through Friday. I paid $6 even for chicken and broccoli which comes with rice and an egg roll/soup. The service was lovely and pretty quick (5min wait for takeout). The food here was less than mediocre for some things and other things were really good. The fried chicken wing appetizer was great! Not dry and still flavorful that is NOT overbearing. Reminds us of a famous NOLA spot. (Manchu chicken) The Mongolian beef was not fried in a savory sweet sauce but stir fried in a savory sauce. Ok... The orange chicken was basic. Orangey fried and sticky. The egg rolls aren't good at all. Edible but not good. Vietnamese egg rolls are better. Always. The crab Rangoon was ok. Not too sweet and not a lot of crab. Wonton soup was different. More ginger in the broth which was still good. But the wontons were different. Not what you would expect. A mass of dough and a tiny bit of meat. Standard Chinese food for sure. I wouldn't go there again except for the wings. read more

We used to love this place and order usually 4-6 times a month. However the past 3 times we have ordered have made us now find a new place. I was told 45 min delivery time, it took over 90 min. My food was lukewarm. I was missing my sweet and sour sauce for my shrimp (which means that whole meal is thrown away since it's dry and cold now). And missing an egg roll. Very sad. I called and all they said was they could send some sauce whenever they could (another 30-45 min) however since we had already doubled our wait time for the original order I can't wait for it. So we just wasted money, time and now we are still hungry. Find another place and save your appetite. read more

I don't know if I was really hungry or if the food was that good but I enjoyed this place. I had the shrimp fried rice and orange chicken and I didn't have any complaints at all. My first thought after taking a bite was I will be back here again. The shrimp fried rice has a good flavor huge chunks of eggs and good sized shrimp. A co worker of mine told me to try eating my fried rice without drowning it in soy sauce and duck sauce and just enjoy the flavor. That's how you can tell a good place. When I tell you I didn't need any soy sauce I mean it. They could have kept it the rice had all the flavor I needed. The orange chicken wasn't that special but it was good it's on par with other places I have enjoyed eating at so while it didn't blow my mind it still deserves a good compliment. I called ahead to order my meal so I can't really speak on service but when I walked in and paid for my food it was already packed and ready to go and the lady at the counter was friendly. read more
