Deandra, their super capable receptionist, assisted in getting all the paperwork sorted out the first week, and therapists Andrew and Becca have been hands on with their guidance as we find the right exercises to continue my improvements. I've been a patient now for almost 2 months and have improved tenfold thanks to their tutelage and couldn't be more pleased. This is an excellent facility if you are also in need of physical rehab and they will assist you in finding the optimum exercises to do at home between your visits - I am looking forward to actually seeing my orthopedic surgeon for re-evaluation next week, since he will tell me no need for surgery as I continue to improve, hurray!

Front Desk Staff keeps to themselves. There is a self check in that's very convenient to use. Rudy, the Occupational Therapy Tech was punctal about taking me back to the therapy room. Also, the Restrooms are clean. I believe, I saw Christian Decor and they have a toilet paper dispenser that dispenses just enough toilet paper to wipe. Sydney my Occupational Therapist was professional, enthusiastic and personable. She seemed to really like her job and care about me. She was patient with all my questions. The other staff members are nice and supportive too. I was able to participate in neat little activities that help support my grip with my hand. The other patients were friendly too. I gained my strength back in my hand. Iam able to make a fist now. Overall, I made progress and the Therapy was a success. My grip strength is stronger than my left hand!

I had an emergency surgery on my finger joint back in December due to an unfortunate incident…read more After my surgery, I was told I needed occupational therapy. So I started to search around to see who would be able to have my insurance cover it. Vista Physical Therapy in Alliance gave me a call back and let me know they accept my insurance and that it would be covered. So I signed up with them for twice a week with my $25 copay. I walked in one day at the beginning of February (One and a half months after starting with them) and saw a weird balance on my account. I got worried because, I am already on a tight budget with everything else as is. So before I went in, I had them look to see what that was. The woman at the front assured me it was a mistake on the address for the insurance company and that everything was covered and good. She told me to just make my copay payment. So sure enough, I went for another month without anything being said to me about it. I paid everytime I went in and have an emailed receipt for every visit. In March, I get a call. Apparently, my insurance never covered occupational therapy and only would cover physical therapy. So they told me my balance was over $3k. First off, I confirmed with them 4 different times to make sure it was covered. You don't sell someone on a $25 copay and then come back and go "oh by the way, it actually wasn't covered and its going to be over $100 per session". Thats the business' mistake and the appropriate thing to do would have been to say "Hey, we messed up. Thats on us but going forward this is what you would need to pay per session". I would have never spent over $1k a month on 2 times a week when I already owe thousands in other medical bills. I've already spoken to a medical lawyer. I am very appalled by the situation and the way they handled it. I would like to note that the only reason I have 2 stars is because my therapist, Tori, was great.

I am recovering from a laminectomy surgery on my neck, and also I have lower back pain that was limiting my ability to enjoy my life. Since i began physical therapy at Green Oaks, I have had such a turnaround in my physical health. They have been so very patient with me and helped me during the loss of my mother by continuing to reach out and let me know they where there and waiting for me to be ready to come back resume my therapy and get better. Miss Jackie's phone calls and messages gave me a glimmer of hope during a time of grief. It also kept me in check reminding me that i had something i needed to finish in order to get better. When I came back, John's comical touch had me laughing my way into recovery, not just physically but emotionally. Haylee who I refer to as captain did her thing making sure I didn't have a huge gap in my sessions when I ran out of days like other places had and was able to take charge and work with my insurance and I didn't even skip a beat! And top Dog Andy watching over everyone, making sure everything runs smoothly gives me a sense of feeling safe in knowing i am in the rite hands. I can tell he really knows how to run things by the way everyone else just jumps in and takes care of business. Without being told what to do. Great initiative from the entire crew at Green Oaks 160 West Magnolia Ave in Fort worth 76104 The equipment is all in tip-top shape Kept very clean and sanitized after each use. During that time, I spent less than 15 minutes total with an actual physical therapist. I was never given a clear treatment plan--no explanation of goals, what the exercises were meant to accomplish, or how they would improve my condition. I also never received any meaningful evaluation of my progress. About halfway through, I brought in a new MRI and results, but they were never discussed. No adjustments were made to my treatment, and it didn't seem to impact my care at all. Most sessions consisted of me doing exercises on my own with little to no supervision. When there was oversight, it was usually from a student or aide--not a licensed PT. My pain levels were largely ignored, and I was repeatedly told to continue the same routine. I believe physical therapy can be helpful, but this experience felt impersonal and ineffective. I was essentially paying $428 per visit to do exercises I could have done at home. It felt more like a high-volume operation focused on moving patients through quickly rather than providing individualized care. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I cannot recommend Green Oaks Physical Therapy.
