Very professional staff! clean building with new equipment that is cared for and maintained. The owner Dr. Jennifer Ratner is also very friendly and caring about the staff & patients.

The 2 PTs were both wonderful except it seems they forgot that I have a torn knee also and yet they started me every time on a cycle despite the knee. We got to the point to try Deep tissue laser therapy. They told me it was $50 per treatment. For both sessions I was put in a room with a whole list of prices and there on the list was a package price for 4 laser sessions. When I brought payment after the second session I told the lady I was going to buy the 4 pack. She had no idea what I was talking about. She was going to research and let me know the next time. The list price was NOT honored, manager said that list was supposed to be for another area that they ended up not opening but she still would not honor the price even tho it was posted in 2 different treatmen rooms. I told her I would expect them to honor it and she kept saying it was wrong and never would agree to the package price THAT THEY HAVE POSTED IN TREATMENT ROOMS. It was their mistake and it should have been honored. I cancelled the rest of my PT sessions and left. A few days later I asked my chiropractor about the same therapy and he said he had the same thing in his office. Sure we could do it! His cost? $15 per session compared to Ratner's $50 per session and no package price. So basically they are there to rip people off and have zero integrity when faced with their mistakes. I highly recommend you go elsewhere!

My mother is having her third stay in 2 years. Other than some some issues with the care transition…read moreoffice (and that team is no longer here) after her stay last year, Ignite has been dependable and comfortable, administering IV antibiotics twice a day, offering onsite dialysis (not many options for that in DFW), and physical & occupational therapy. The nurses and other staff are responsive and caring, and have always been happy to take my calls to check in on her. The facility is also clean and pleasant. I do not understand some of these reviews, but with three stays now (current one in progress) for completely different rehab issues, I feel our experience has been consistent and satisfactory. I'm grateful to have Ignite as an option after my mother's hospital stays when she needs more expert attention than can be provided at home.

He couldn't walk on his own and needed the restroom; after pressing the call button, no one responded for over 10 minutes. I had to go find help, and a nursing assistant eventually came. When I spoke with Barbara, the Patient Experience Manager, she said 10 minutes was standard and that by law they have up to two hours to respond to a call button. That was unbelievable to hear. He was later moved to a room that was actually ready, but he sat there all day with almost no staff interaction--aside from food trays being dropped off and picked up. He is 82 with multiple medical issues, yet his PT didn't start for several days and no one checked on him. Thankfully, my niece visited; he had an accident, and she helped clean him and change his clothes. Otherwise, he was left wearing the same clothes for days because he couldn't change them himself. This facility is advertised as skilled nursing and rehabilitation, but I saw neither. Leaving an 82-year-old alone all day without routine checks is unacceptable. For the most part, staff were rude and acted like he was a burden. If you want rehabilitation, skilled nursing, and a caring, attentive team, look elsewhere.

She coordinated with me, the hospital and the rehab daily to make sure all went well. The floor staff have been excellent and really seem sweet with my mom. They are staffed better than I expected (staff to patient ratio) and when I have shown up unexpectedly to see my mom she is always up, dressed, fed and her bed and room are kept decent. We have had to help here and there when with her but that's more us just wanting to help out caring for our mom vs any gaps in care (IE things like help feed her, straighten her room, move out food trays, etc). The patients/family are encouraged to pick each meal for the week and the options have been varied, and my mom has actually really enjoyed them which was great because she was not eating at the hospital. She reports to me that she has done well at therapy although, of course she doesn't love it :) but all in all I'm really impressed with the way that she was taken care of at this facility.
