We got to the point to try Deep tissue laser therapy. They told me it was $50 per treatment. For both sessions I was put in a room with a whole list of prices and there on the list was a package price for 4 laser sessions. When I brought payment after the second session I told the lady I was going to buy the 4 pack. She had no idea what I was talking about. She was going to research and let me know the next time. The list price was NOT honored, manager said that list was supposed to be for another area that they ended up not opening but she still would not honor the price even tho it was posted in 2 different treatmen rooms. I told her I would expect them to honor it and she kept saying it was wrong and never would agree to the package price THAT THEY HAVE POSTED IN TREATMENT ROOMS. It was their mistake and it should have been honored. I cancelled the rest of my PT sessions and left. A few days later I asked my chiropractor about the same therapy and he said he had the same thing in his office. Sure we could do it! His cost? $15 per session compared to Ratner's $50 per session and no package price. So basically they are there to rip people off and have zero integrity when faced with their mistakes. I question their credentialing. No one there seems skilled and yet they call themselves skilled nursing. They are rough in handling patients, especially very fragile ones. The RN's care more about inputting data on their computers while looking at their phones instead of offering personal touch and engagement with their patients. There is ALWAYS an excuse as to why results are not given, labs aren't drawn, and assistance is nowhere to be found! They deliberately ignore the call light and if you call it to their attention, they get pissed off at you and your family and will not attend to any critical needs or concerns. They do not know how to assess the needs of their patients. Each person that comes in is handled in the same manner; whether you have just lost your legs and can't walk or whether you got a paper cut. It doesn't matter. No one matters to the staff. They pretend to care but at the end of the day, they don't. Your family member is WAY BETTER OFF going home to rehab in the comfort of the home. My mother was there for broken hip rehab, developed a very contagious stomach infection (out of the blue), became severely dehydrated after 4 days of uncontrollable diarrhea and neglect to treat properly. I removed her from that place and took her to the ER where we were told that she was in renal failure and extremely ill. Three days later, she passed away. What an utter shock to me and my family to bury my beautiful mother this past week. I will never recommend this company to anyone.

Front Desk Staff keeps to themselves. There is a self check in that's very convenient to use. Rudy, the Occupational Therapy Tech was punctal about taking me back to the therapy room. Also, the Restrooms are clean. I believe, I saw Christian Decor and they have a toilet paper dispenser that dispenses just enough toilet paper to wipe. Sydney my Occupational Therapist was professional, enthusiastic and personable. She seemed to really like her job and care about me. She was patient with all my questions. The other staff members are nice and supportive too. I was able to participate in neat little activities that help support my grip with my hand. The other patients were friendly too. Megan called several days before and was open to talking thru a complex story to better understand my moms needs and how to make sure she would be safe at rehab. She coordinated with me, the hospital and the rehab daily to make sure all went well. The floor staff have been excellent and really seem sweet with my mom. They are staffed better than I expected (staff to patient ratio) and when I have shown up unexpectedly to see my mom she is always up, dressed, fed and her bed and room are kept decent. We have had to help here and there when with her but that's more us just wanting to help out caring for our mom vs any gaps in care (IE things like help feed her, straighten her room, move out food trays, etc). The patients/family are encouraged to pick each meal for the week and the options have been varied, and my mom has actually really enjoyed them which was great because she was not eating at the hospital. She reports to me that she has done well at therapy although, of course she doesn't love it :) but all in all I'm really impressed with the way that she was taken care of at this facility. We had a short stay at a different rehab prior to this one and the comparison is night and day!

As per Docs instructions we will continue the exercises prescribed- doing these daily!
